  1. This ESPN.com piece is trying so damn hard that it made me crack up: https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/44339604/lakers-bronny-james-takes-center-stage-confidence-growing
  2. They die so often that aggy football doesn't even blame their losses on them.
  3. Holy shit, what a bomb this article was. Tang had his moment in the sun his first year, but KSU is already sick of him. Stephens has struggled at WMU. Shrewsberry has been a disaster at Notre Dame. Schwartz hasn't done anything notable at ECU. Bruno is about to get fired at NIU. Kenny Payne was THE WORST and already fired. Neptune also already hired and fired. Martin is doing OK at SC state. Autry is 34-31 at Cuse. The rest of the guys are Jon Scheyer and a bunch of dudes who are still assistants.
  4. Sorry, but I have this old-fashioned expectation of people in the media being able to report things accurately. My bad...
  5. Here's what they wrote: That's clearly not true.
  6. Pierce had cleaned out his office two weeks before we hired Schloss, and his firing was announced when Kurt Bohls leaked it the day before.
  7. I'm supposed to read this section and believe these guys know what they're talking about?
  8. Then why is there a stadium named after him?
  9. I once wrote a check for $0.52 for a 7-11 burrito.
  10. I see you've never been to Wimberley.
  11. That dude was such a fucking beast in high school, then he came to Austin and did nothing but shoot 3s. I was expecting Larry Bird and got Matt Bullard instead.
  12. No idea what Yale's little white kid was thinking there.
  13. * symbolizes
  14. How in the hell was Bellmont OK with this?
  15. MAKE IT HAPPEN!
  16. Well, they are, you know... well-coached, good, and fun to watch.
  17. Wade's biggest problem is not the recruiting violations; it's that he lied his ass off to his AD and university President and stonewalled when they were trying to deal with the NCAA.
  18. Absolutely this. When I coached my daughter's team at this age, we had one offensive play -- pick and roll at the foul line. Girl with the ball would choose the pick setter by just calling out the player's number. One of the other coaches said something to me at the end of the season about we beat his team because "y'all had eight different plays."
