Because behind LT and Westlake, that district is complete ass, my dude. Seriously, Hays might be the third best program in that district. Smithson Valley might be the 5th-best program in that SA district.
Can't deny it, bro - our district sucks. But San Antonio teams REALLY suck and are weird. They rarely play any teams out of the city and they all build up their record against some really crappy SA programs. And at playoff time, Westlake and LT beat the crap out of all of them and it's rarely by less than 30 points. In face, we look forward to it cause we know it doesn't get tough till Houston and Dallas come along.
But there is NO way that crappy San Antonio district should be "3rd in state." (Hey, I said I was triggered)

SA football has been down big time the past couple seasons. Judson & NISD have both been hurt by new schools opening, and Steele lost their great coach recently. O’Connor let a 4th quarter lead on LT slip away a couple years ago. It’s definitely not like the late 2000s anymore when it was more competitive. I still remember Marcus Wright from Reagan absolutely shredded Westlake in back to back years. Even pulled off the upset in ‘07.
I sat through one of those games. Brutal.

Average margin of victory is north of 35 points. I know, overall strength, blah, blah, blah but San Antonio HS football sucks.

Rommel is a little like Shaka. Great when he went against pre-season, little schools but when faced against equally talented teams, he routinely got out coached and lost.
Hitler was also adept at tolerating incredibly disorganized government, industry and a military machine where command and hierarchy was hopelessly muddled. Amazing fact: There were 17 groups working independently on atomic weapons, including, (are you ready for this one,) the post office!

Great leaders inspire and empower great people around them. Hitler surrounded himself with a gaggle of incompetent, groveling, back-stabbing, untalented, idiotic losers that make Surly posters seem intelligent by comparison, and that’s saying a lot. If you want to read something truly amazing, read all the bullshit as his cronies fought to replace him during the very last days of the war-just insane.

If he was such a great leader why did he lose? There’s the weirdest participation trophy/moral victory mindset when it comes to the nazis & the confederacy.

The tone and tenor of the postings on this site in regards to the Texas A&M Bonfire tragedy pretty much forces me to respond.
I find it totally offensive that this topic was even brought back, over 20 years since its occurrence. Aggies still mourn that tragic event and honor the twelve students with a memorial to their memory on campus. I invite you to come by and see it for yourselves. Any snarky remarks and excuses for not coming mean nothing to me. Please, just let it go.-

It's almost as if there were something happening right now, not with football, but society in general. Something that emboldens racist pieces of shit be their true shitty racist selves, which then causes everyone else to overanalyze every little encounter involving people of different races....

Goo, I like and support you, but If you don't think there is anything wrong or stupid with what OBJ did, you should probably not go out, cause you might get hurt.
I am friends with a great number of law enforcement officers through my work. Most of them are really good men and women of all races and creeds. Yes, there are a few bad ones, just like there are bad people in every profession. And yes, they are on edge, cause Texas.
To be clear, no one should ever put a hand on a law enforcement officer, ever, for any reason, especially in the very aggressive way that OBJ did. it will not go well for you. If that had been in Texas, he would have been eating floor.
