Last nights was the most "comic book" episode of them all. Less of a mob drama, and more of a evil villain kind of vibe.

Ewers is just more of a game manager than he is playmaker QB. The talent around him lifts him up more than he lifts them up. Without a good running game he's going to be pretty ineffective, and we don't have a strong running game. Blue has been useless, we way overthought his ability. Our RBs are just depth backs at this point, nice to have but not who you want carrying the load.

Quinn getting Bomar'd deep in their territory by the db was the turning point of the game and he was never right afterwards
He wasn’t right last week

Ever year when he can’t hit passes it’s he’s still hurt excuses…. How about he just sucks at throwing the ball down field? The numbers don’t lie, he has never been actually good at throwing the ball down field minus a few here and there that hit their target his downfield percentage is terrible.
Even if it’s an injury he’s perpetually injured it’s what he is at this point.

Outside of Josh Pate, I haven’t seen a single talking head pick Texas. All of XM 84 has gone with Georgia. SEC Radio is giving it the nonsensical “Georgia is going to welcome Texas to the SEC the hard way!!”, especially from Doering, who of course picked Texas 6th in the SEC for the same dumb fucking SEC honk reasons.
The cool pick this week is that whatever the “real” Georgia is, that group is showing up this weekend and they’re going to run boss in Austin. I’m guessing everyone but Scheffler picks Georgia on Gameday tomorrow. Get Nick Saban going with the self-serving trope of “someone besides Bama is going to have to beat Georgia before I pick against them.” Right.
Klatt likes Texas. I don't know if he's done an official pick on whatever platform he's on, but he picked Texas when talking with the ticket in Dallas this week.

Dino nuggets out of the air fryer for the win.
The air fryer or toaster oven is a complete game changer if you have kids. Heats up fast and you skip all the soggy shit from the microwave. No one has got time to heat up a corn dog or plate of nuggets in the actual oven.

If we are talking about a TGIFriday's breakfast why not just go to IHOP or Denny's they serve it all day. It can't be any worse.

The problem with I Am Legend was that the book was staggeringly better than the movie they made out of it.
Were the zombie/vampire/infected also superhuman in the book? That detail made no sense and ruined the movie for me.

1 day is plenty at the Grand Canyon, unless you want to spend money for helicopter rides and such. If you have adult onset acrophobia like me, a 10 minute stop at one of the overlooks is plenty. We did 2 days with 3 kids, and I don't think I've ever been more stressed out in my life. What an awesome vacation that was.

No way on the pay with card option. Although that would be nice. I get the logic on being cash less, but credit/debit card readers accomplish the same thing.

Chicken stock is super easy and cheap to make homemade as well, so it's really easy to have high quality stuff on hand. Beef broth, I don't really eat enough beef to have the trimmings or bones to make homemade, so I am stuck with store bought. I never really thought about using chicken when the recipe calls for beef.

I need to rewatch Shot Caller. I couldn't remember if the DWI crash killed people in another car or just the people in his car. Not that I have a soft spot for drunk drivers, but I always roll my eyes at the people in the car with the drunk driver being described as victims. There are obviously scenarios where they could be victims, but for the most part if you go out drinking with someone and you get in the car with them you are complicit.

Amber alerts are funny as the car description is apt information for people on the road, but people on the road should avoid looking at their phone.

You sound like one of those people who film tornadoes from their back porch as it barrels down upon them.
I was going for the opposite. Like a prepper/Dwight Schrute vibe.

I assume most people have a Life and own Property, but that isn't a given around here
If you are waiting for an alert to your phone to tell you your life and property are at risk then you are already dead.

Go to settings/alerts and at the bottom there is a section for Govt alerts. At least on the iphone there is.

Rebel Ridge is solid. Don Johnson plays a pretty good bad guy. He was pretty much the same character as Brawl in Cell Block 99 which I also like. Cycling with headphones so loud you can't hear a cop car behind you is really stupid, and maybe justifiably gets you rammed off the road. Not so much the other corruption though.

No one else thought the whole knife thing was dumb as fuck?
Which part? The idea that no mafia henchmen would EDC, or that there is only one blade on that massive estate to be the potential murder weapon?

The Cowboys should see what they could get from KC in a trade for Brandin Cooks. He's that guy that gets traded when teams need an experienced above-average receiver that can help. He has never been the stud he has been made out to be. if they could get a 3 or 4, or maybe a backup player in a position of need for depth and has some contract left after this season, then pull the trigger. Promote Brooks up a notch and roll with it.
I'm not trying to throw in the towel on the season, but there are times when you need to use your chips before they gone, and this is one of them. The Cowboys rarely use these opportunities, which is one of the reasons they are always a step behind. They tend to do the opposite and overpay to take someone else's baggage.
Cooks is expendable, though it hurts depth to a degree. It also creates opportunity and maybe bring in some new chemistry and play making potential. Ferguson is the true number 2, and Tolbert needs to take a bigger role, even Turpin is in the rotation in a meaningful way. No better time to shuffle a little bit and shake things up.
I don't think Cooks gets you a 3 or 4, more like a 6th. He's an also ran at this point in his career, or at least he is here.
