  1. Assuming they are behaved, It only bothers me if there is shit & piss involved which if allowed there would be at some point. I don't want piss or shit around me with food involved. I don't have them, but there would also be allergy issues if it were a smaller enclosed space. I've never seen a dog in a restaurant, so I don't know if that's actually a thing. I've seen them on patios, but never indoors.
  2. I don't mind the Lowes / Home Depot dog generally because the aisles are big and rando with a dog is easy to avoid. Wouldn't bother me if they changed their policy they are the ones cleaning up the piss and shit. No one should be bringing their dog anywhere that serves food. Actual service dogs are incredibly expensive because of all their training, so only the people that actually need them have them. I've never seen one that wasn't a retriever. It's not hard to tell the difference.
  3. That's what my porch looked like after I bought a pressure washer. I was ready for some pressure washing asmr, and it only came with one nozzle worth a damn, and it made a 2 inch cleaning path. I was thoroughly defeated that day.
  4. I always assumed they did 40 times on a track surface at pro days. Pro days for all schools generally have faster times compared to Indy. The combine isn't on a track surface it's just the artificial turf, which is faster than natural, but not faster than a track surface.
  5. That's my point. There isn't anything out right now, 2nd place earned nothing. If a movie theatre was crowded this weekend, it's because people saw Snow White, because it's the only movie with significant earnings. Not enough for Disney to not take a major hit though. I am disputing the fact that a crowded theatre had an empty Snow White viewing.
  6. My point is Snow White led the weekend box office by a large margin. Yes it's a flop, but people are still seeing it way more than any other movie out right now. If the room showing Snow White is dead, then there is nobody at the theatre, and haven't been for weeks because a 40 million weekend probably hasn't happened since Captain America (another flop). So the theatre in question isn't super busy or the tweet is bullshit.
  7. I've never dropped a $20, but I done plenty of $6 rentals only to find out it hits one of my streaming services in a few days.
  8. Someone is watching, it made 40+ million in weekend box office. I get that it's a flop because of the budget, but to say this super busy theatre is empty because of how bad Snow White sucks doesn't make any sense. What are all the people who aren't watching Snow White seeing at this super busy theatre? Because this movie still has 10x the numbers of any other movie.
  9. As a father of twins, going from zero kids to two isn't worth a mother/daughter bang.
  10. If two lanes are merging yes. A merge isn’t whipping into an exit or turn lane at the last second.
  11. Nobody should use strictly stats to judge anyone anymore. Everyone of these players has every game they've played in from HS to current on film.
  12. It's inappropriately named because someone pushing Hurts isn't the reason for it's success. Hurt's with or without a push just rides the o line. Banning the push part won't matter much. I don't know if it's the same on every QB sneak across the league but the Eagles entire OL is in the neutral zone when the ball is snapped.
  13. In the early windows 95 days, when enough teachers didn't know anyhting about computers. I could just print off an encarta item about anything and paste it to poster board for an A.
  14. Dominos/Pizza Hut pizza prices have basically been the same my entire adult life (post 2002). I know it's garbage, but the other garbage fast food options certainly can't make the same claim.
  15. Me and my wife did my son's 9 year old team otherwise they weren't going to be able to play. It really is going to depend on the skill level of your team. It ranges wildly at least in my son's league. You could only press in the second half. Without that rule there are teams that flat out couldn't cross half court otherwise, not that they would do much once they did anyways.
  16. He's a fucking moron because even the business decisions that the Mavericks have made have been fucking terrible, but which owners of any sport have legit X's and O's knowledge?
  17. People who walk with no purpose are the fucking worst. Not to mention, groups of people who take up the entire walk path. GTFO Go to a grocery store and I don’t even understand how it’s comfortable to move so slow. It’s like I’m doing a wall sit behind these people.
  18. He'll be the oldest coach in NFL history week 1, so I don't think anyone is looking at a 10 year arc for this thing.
  19. I like previews, but every theatre I've been to in the last 10+ years has assigned seating. You haven't had to show up early for good seats in quite some time, at least I haven't.
  20. It's simple economics. Take my family of 5 to go see whatever movie everyone wants to see could cost 100 in tickets + drink and popcorn. Rent it at home costs $20-25 + snacks. The theatre isn't worth the extra cost. With the economy of a theatre, they have to make a larger nut on concessions to offset all of the ticket money going to the studios, so sneaking in your snacks won't help either. I've also never really had a bad experience with people ruining the movie that I remember so I didn't even include that factor. Luckily my kids never grafted on to all of the comic book / star wars garbage of the last decade, and I didn't even have to waste my money renting it. Me going by myself at a matinee and skipping snacks is worth it for the right movie though, but those are few and far between.
  21. Maybe, but this year they are letting the bad teams pick in those rounds too.
