  1. That TCU punt looked like the last time I tried to kick one in the park
  2. Ewers isn't even close to right. Says that Sark saw what the non idiots here saw about Murphy and knew he couldn't ride that in here on the road.
  3. Really looking forward to next year when a team can't spend all the time gearing up for us to play their hardest all season because the week after us they play Bama or Georgia or LSU, etc.
  4. Ewers' arm is about 60 percent. That looked like a Case throw
  5. Then again I'm sure somewhere an okie lite fan said the same thing today...
  6. Sonny boy you ain't gonna run on us. Nobody is running on us this year. Ain't happening.
  7. Occupy a defender. Red needs to hit the line hard. Hesitate in short yardage and you're risking getting hit short. Of course Hayden Connor gets whipped physically in short yardage. Never trust a dude named Hayden.
  8. Yeah that's where I'm at. I'll tip more than a dollar a drink if it's a craft cocktail bar where they're having to muddle stuff and create the cocktail from scratch but I'm not tipping that much if all they're doing is pouring me a beer or a glass of wine. Just doesn't make sense it takes 15 seconds.
  9. I don't think they'll get to their level of defense but if they can it would be nice
  10. That's the problem. People who vote Democrat tend to have standards and at least some idea about staying away from outright criminals. Republicans are a cult that deifies whatever immoral, criminal piece of shit that can make them feel good about being shitty and stupid. One side can still be disqualified for morality and the other side can't be disqualified for anything. It's a dichotomy that cannot work. Completely non sustainable
  11. Waged for how long? And how severely? No matter which way Netanyahu's government goes it'll suffer an image crisis. Pull back and look weak. Keep going and look barbaric. That's the catch 22. Israel isn't the US. They don't have the stranglehold the US had on global commerce in 2001 to be in a position to alienate everyone. The US has taken great damage to it's image and alliances with it's actions post 9/11 and Israel risks taking greater damage if it tries to go this alone and isolates itself. Besides, how many examples do we need of heavy handed tactics making things worse? The rise of Hezbollah, ISIS, etc all coming from this type of situation. Even if they manage to root out and deal a ton of damage to Hamas over the coming months/years the nature of the destruction will just create new enemies. It never ends.
  12. Anyone who sees what Texas has on the OL coming up knows Arch isn't transferring. Next year Banks and Cam Williams, who just looked pretty good in an emergency start, at tackles and Campbell, Neto, Robertson, etc on the inside. All the very good class of 22 and 23 OL have either been getting experience or developing behind the scenes. Arch will have one of the better lines in the country in front of him and guys like Baxter, Cook, Wingo, and whatever talent Sark can pull out of the portal at X receiver and TE for him. Why would he leave?
  13. Just curious but is there anyone at the station you like now that Norm is gone?
  14. Israel's in a catch 22. Don't allow humanitarian aid to the millions of Palestinians who had no part in attacking them and they'll be seen as sadistic ghouls the world over. They also risk waning US support as Biden can't be seen as the president siding with genocide in an election year. I feel they may be on the cusp of making similar mistakes as the US after 9/11. Initial support at being the victim of attack flips when you spend years invading lands and killing women and children. There really isn't any good course of action, ol' Benji fucked up by falling asleep at the wheel and allowing their defenses to be defeated that easily and severely.
  15. I know this is a bit long but watch it and see if having her watch it might help. It's a pretty good (IMO) synopsis on the conflict and the political aspects to it not only for Israel and Hamas but also other countries in the region and the US. Bremmer does a pretty good job of looking at it from different vantage points. I'd talk to her about how everyone in this world has bias and it's up to her to analyze what bias is inherent in the information she's receiving. Also how there's absolutely nothing wrong with her enjoying her life here right now, and ruining her life or ruining the lives of others isn't going to help Palestinian and Israeli civilians one bit. She sounds like the type of person that needs to self impose cool down periods from emotional reactions. It's important she realizes it's vital not to let yourself become a puppet strung along by disinformation aimed at attacking people's emotional vulnerabilities. Good luck.
  16. I was under the impression you can't get companion pass from transferring points to SW from Sapphire. Is that not correct? Glad to hear the trip went fine. Not looking forward to that much time in a plane but seeing Hawaii would be worth it.
  17. I haven't boarded a plane in 8 years after well over a decade of flying 15+ times a year. Haven't missed it one bit. Well, now the wife wants to go to Hawaii next spring and I noticed SW goes to Hawaii from DFW. I have a couple hundred thousand Chase Sapphire points I can transfer to SW points so looking at going that route. Anyone have any experience with flying SW to Hawaii? Thinking Oahu since it'll be both of our first time going to Hawaii.
  18. Colorado has done about what could be expected of them so far, but the question is how together does Deion have things behind the scenes during this turmoil? 2 years ago Sark had a long losing streak here and it looked like chaos on the surface but as it turns out he has it all together behind the scenes. That's what's going to truly test whether Deion is a legit coach for this level. It'll help him that next year he goes to a weaker conference.
  19. Yeah Cooper absolutely no showed in the playoffs. He wasn't a guy to get this team over the hump. I don't know why he keeps being brought up 2 seasons later. He's been ok in Cleveland but not great
  20. We're also one of the only, if not the only, teams who have scored 30+ in every game. This team has been about the most consistent in the country in point production and it's a big reason we're 8-1.
  21. So had it been mentioned by multiple sources that Quinn is practicing this week? We're gonna need him. TCU has been bad this season but still a coach that has beaten us, a defensive staff that shut us down last year, and that Briles' veer system that PK had a hell of a time defending in the Cotton bowl. We gotta come out and muscle these fuckers for 60
