  1. Then we won't win the national championship unless we miraculously never face a defense with a front 7 that can attack an immobile QB and take him out of his comfort zone. No more Kentucky or Aggy left.
  2. It's not happening. The SOS is way too big in favor of Alabama. SMU lost to the 2 best teams they played this year. No one they beat was ranked very high by the committee. They aren't using a single game to decide.
  3. I agree it should happen, but I think it also matters where they want to put Alabama in relation to Clemson. I think the committee wants Alabama traveling to South Bend in December. That's a made for TV matchup
  4. I'll just be surprised if they drop 1 loss ND to 7, but maybe it makes a statement for them to join a fucking conference
  5. So what are likely matchups? ND (5) vs Alabama (12) (4) Arizona St Texas (6) vs Clemson (11) (3) Boise St Penn St (7) vs Indiana (10) (2) Georgia Ohio St (8) vs Tennessee (9) (1) Oregon
  6. They will SMU SOC was in the 70s. Alabama's was in the teens. That will be the justification used.
  7. SMU isn't getting in over Alabama.
  8. Clemson, Oregon, and Penn State don't have any defense up front like what we saw, but they're capable of playing up and Oregon has a much better offense than Georgia. Sark needs to be ready to make the difficult decision when it needs to be made. He failed at that today.
  9. They'll get the top 4 seed over Clemson. SMU was low level who feasted on a terrible schedule like I thought. Oregon 1, Georgia 2, Boise 3, ASU 4 I think it should go like that.
  10. I'm not assuming anything. Our offense is flat out not ready for championship level competition. They showed that against Arkansas, Kentucky, aggy, then again tonight down the stretch. A lot of it is Quinn but not just Quinn. Yeah, our offensive line could bully those other teams in the 2nd half and hold on to wins, but no offensive line in the country is bullying a Georgia defensive line that has stacked nothing but high level defensive linemen for 5+ years now. We are rightfully jacked to pull Justus Terry out of that state, but they've been pulling dudes like that from their state every year. Our line did well considering no Banks and QB was a statue that couldn't move the pocket. Golden had a good game but had one get to his chest and hands in the end zone and hit the ground. The DB was right there and made it difficult, but championship teams make that play. Quinn is too immobile. Can't roll the pocket at all. Can't punish defenses with his feet for playing man, too often panics and wings the ball out off his back foot into coverage. We can't win a title with that. Sark has to see that. Quinn isn't the only reason we lost, but we need him to be a huge reason we win. And he just hasn't been that since Michigan other than the blowout over Florida.
  11. I don't know about today, but in tape review of previous games the biggest issue is Quinn turning down winning plays. Not seeing them, not processing it quick enough, who knows why. But it happens over and over. Sark will scheme winners and Quinn misses it. Sark with competent QBs, very good lines, and talent at WR kills college defenses historically. Mac Jones was a monster under him. Quinn just isn't very good, at least not considering everything around him and his experience level. I assume he feels Arch isn't ready for the moment, or else there are other extenuating circumstances we don't know, but Arch is the QB whose strengths hurt that Georgia defense. If you notice, other than Owens, Sark is recruiting QBs that can situationally run with the ball and hurt defenses when needed. He notices that is a weakness of the offense with Quinn.
  12. Their run defense is great when the QB can't run it double digit times like Alabama, SC, Ole Miss, and GT. Then as you see their secondary is pretty shit. That's why Arch was the QB matchup win for us here and Quinn is a QB they're tailor made to defend. Said that this morning.
  13. God damnit Gilbeau get a fucking block
  14. Just horrible from Ewers. Horrible. Inexcusable for any QB much less a 3rd year starter.
  15. That's just stupid. This is one of the most talented teams top to bottom in the country. We weren't going to run over them all game. We need to execute down the stretch to win it.
  16. These are the top 2 teams in the country with possibly Oregon up there, but they haven't been tested at this level yet. This is 2 rosters of future NFL players cracking heads for the SEC title. Where we always wanted to be. Let's close this with a Longhorns win.
  17. Fully expect we will adjust to this one quickly like we adjusted to Kentucky's backup after he came in and started making plays. This defense is too smart and experienced not to adjust well. Offense needs to start killing them.
  18. They do that Dr pepper contest way too close. Back them up to 15 so they actually have to use form to throw it. Not just shovel it in
  19. Their left tackle has held Burke several times with hand outside the pads. It's stuff that's borderline, but if you're calling the other team for far less then you need to call that too. Stupid southern corruption bullshit. Let's fire up the OL and grind them through the 2nd half. Luckily we play this type of game letting the other team stick around every game so we have experience winning them.
  20. The hold on Golden and one of the OL holds, both when we were entering the red zone, were bullshit. Nowhere near holding. The need to be called out to even this up in the 2nd half. We need the damn calls going out way We're on pace to give up almost exactly the same amount of yards our 2009 defense gave up to Nebraska in the CCG
  21. Damn straight Sark. They're getting away with tons of holding, call their bullshit out
  22. I've never seen a more complete offense with zero holes and a ton of talent that leaves more points on the field than this one. We should at least have 20 right now at minimum. It's not great plays by Georgia stopping us, it's stupid ass penalties, drops, Quinn missing the open receiver and panic throwing, etc.
  23. That Brooks guy had Quinn nailed perfectly. He doesn't see a window when it's opening. So many times Sark has schemed him open throws and he turns them down or flat out misses them. He said he wouldn't draft Quinn because In the NFL that gets you planted on the bench as fast as turning it over.
  24. He's panicking and winging it off his back foot. Need more Arch. We need to be able to hit teams with both going forward.
