  1. I can see why Franklin loses big games if this is how he calls them. He's lucky the ACC is complete dogshit and got 2 teams in. He'd be fucked against Alabama today.
  2. Yes, we know Ewers has sucked for the 2nd or 1st half of almost every game this season. We just that ignorant redneck to suck a little less and stop turning it over. Get Arch in for red zone packages where he both runs and throws. There's ways to utilize both
  3. We'll see if the Democrats have the balls to let America fully suffer during the dysfunction of Trump and Musk. It would have already started today but they stepped up and bailed out Johnson last night. I hope the only reason is because Biden is still president. This better be the last time. And for fucks sake get your own network of bots up and running rightfully blaming all the suffering that happens on Trump, musk, elitist CEOs, and Republicans. The people are already showing they're dangerously close to rebellion against corporate jagoffs with the celebration of the healthcare CEO murder. Just flood social media with simplistic, emotionally charged language rightfully connecting the dots for them on everything that's about to happen. The road map for Democrats to become the party of the people again is clear. If they don't follow it they're nothing but the ineffectual pussies we think they are.
  4. I give Gerry credit for being bold enough to rightfully point out Ewers has been a disappointment this season. Whether by injury, regression, or most likely a mixture of both. He's been carried to 11 wins by the best defense in the country bailing him out in the 2nd half against Arkansas, against OU, 2nd half against Kentucky, and 2nd half against aggy. Michigan and CSU are the only productively complete games Ewers has played all year. That's a disgrace as a 3rd year starter. The hope for a title is that he gets his shit together for the playoffs, but that's a long shot. The realistic hope is he both produces and stops fucking up just enough for an elite defense to carry us to a title.
  5. I can't say which would be worse, but Musk would be absolutely horrible running a government. He's shown with his companies every human life is expendable in the name of profit and what he considers "progress". That mentality is disastrous for running governments. Musk and his ilk are modern day William McKinley's. People who believe all of the wealth and power should be concentrated at the top in a small group of wealth elitists, and those wealth elitists get to decide what happens with the nation's wealth. We need a modern day Grover Cleveland to step up. Someone to fight against that for the sake of actual democracy.
  6. The same thing that happened tonight is happening tomorrow too. Teams like Clemson, SMU, and Indiana that beat up on garbage competition all season but got handled easily by the only decent teams they played are going to get exposed in the playoff.
  7. The last time Sydir Mitchell was 340 Obama was president
  8. That's the worst fake I've ever seen.
  9. They've been a little busy preparing for a playoff game tomorrow. Will hear more probably beginning of next week
  10. Americans' retirement plan once these republicans really get to screwing everything up:
  11. Man, this blew up right in your face really nasty
  12. There's no more NLI. All he signed was scholarship papers. Can't he just enter the portal? Or does that not start until school starts? So if Oregon makes the semifinals he could enter the portal?
  13. The high Cotton thing kills me every time. Such a southern 1970s phrase. He also says "now you're cooking with hot grease". I feel like the hot is implied if you're cooking with it.
  14. Are you being forced to read it? I guess you're of the sadomasochistic persuasion. Based on your posts it checks out. You're a weird, abrasive, off putting dude
  15. At least $225,000??
  16. This isn't a simulated or artifical reality. It's the real world. Human nature and real world variables are going to factor in greatly. That said, all this was about is the fact there are several factors working against Sark getting a top end portal receiver. We obviously aren't getting a Sark or Arch Manning discount due to these factors this season. If he wants a Singleton level guy he's going to have to at minimum match the highest offer. Maybe that wouldn't be enough depending on who the kid prefers.
  17. Why are you hyper focusing on a single variable? In a complex system it's never a single variable that causes outcomes. It's a combination of variables, and I've laid them out here. Focus on the whole. Also, if you think these player's agents and families aren't picking apart every single thing about these rosters and situations you're naive. Say a player comes down to Texas and Team B. Team B is offering more money, but the player is leaning to Texas for the chance to win a title. The agent goes back to Texas but Sark doesn't want to match the highest offer. The agent is absolutely going to point to everything I've mentioned and then some to get him to go with the bigger pay day and bigger agent commission. People are paying attention to the smallest details in these negotiations.
  18. When was his first ankle injury? Near the end of the OU game? That certainly had a lot to do with it, but there's been a ton of times where he's been open and Quinn just misses him. Or he and Quinn aren't on the same page on adjusting routes to coverage. The 3 game stretch when Arch was the QB he had 12 receptions for 252 yds and 2 TDs All the games since he's had 13 receptions for 168 yds and 2 TDs. Now the ankle injury definitely was a part of that, but he was still able to play and get open at times during that stretch. His production falling off a cliff also coincided with Quinn's injuries and production falling off a cliff. That just looks bad to WRs you're trying to land in the portal. Combined with Bolden and returning production, it's a harder sell than last season for portal WRs, and we just need to accept that. He's probably going to have to significantly overpay if he really wants one.
  19. I think Bond will still get drafted fairly high. Maybe not first round now, but still high. The Bolden one I think is really hurting us more. There's no sure fire way to tank your draft stock than to transfer somewhere and rarely play. We have a lot more competition at WR coming back than last season, and Sark has the reputation of only going mainly with 3 or 4 at most guys in his main rotation. It's just the way it is this season, but I still think they'll either get one later in portal season or up the offer to get someone like Golden to return if his draft grade after the season isn't as high as he's expecting. We'll be fine at WR in the end, but because we have so much returning and coming in he's apparently not going to spend over a million for someone like Singleton.
  20. I had a feeling it might be more difficult than we thought to sway a portal WR because of how Bond's and Bolden's production dropped off a cliff this year. Bolden more by way of competition and Bond's by way of Quinn not being able to accurately throw deep balls consistently. Then they see we have a freak in Wingo returning for 2 more years, a productive RS freshman in Moore, and just signed 2 5 stars and a really high 4 star out of HS. Not going to be an easy sell this year as it was last year when all production was leaving and all 3 got drafted. Same thing goes for RB. The better portal backs are leaving to be the main back somewhere. They look at us and see Wisner is coming back, Baxter is expected back, have no idea yet if they will have to compete with Blue, and see 2 high 4 star high school backs coming in. Too much competition to get someone that isn't more of a one trick pony without way overpaying. DT and maybe TE is where we should be able to look really attractive to high end portal guys this year.
  21. And they play in a half empty stadium. Nobody there gives a shit about them except a few really rich dudes. I don't believe their coach hosts any recruits for games.
  22. I used to wonder how people who don't like how things are going for them enough to commit atrocities don't realize this, but then the 2024 election happened and I realized Americans are dumber than chimps.
