  1. We show up we win by double digits. ASU is a solid team with a good but inexperienced RS freshman QB and a great college RB but not much else. If Ewers has it in him to dial in and clean up the inaccurate throws, and put the offense on his shoulders if necessary, now is the time to start showing it. We need 3 great games from Ewers. Most of all, we need to pay these mother fuckers back for sending us that piece of shit Patterson.
  2. He no longer needs them for votes. Technically, he does, for the mid terms. But he's too stupid and lazy to care about that. He needed them to keep his ass out of prison, and they've done just that. They allowed an insurrectionist, traitor, and all around criminal to go free and get to play president again for 4 years. That's all he needed from them, and now he's going to fuck them over and do whatever he thinks makes Elon want to be around him more.
  3. Break it down for me how he's a "very good" college QB. Because the tape I've watched of this season I've seen a guy who has a good command of the offense but struggles to get the ball out on time to the right places on anything other than screens, smoke routes, and intermediate routes. Even on those he's inconsistent with ball placement. It's just a fucking fact. His ypa on deep balls is near bottom of SEC QBs. His completion percentage on deep balls is average compared to SEC QBs. His ypa period is near the bottom of the SEC. He's at best a bus driver who is very fortunate to have, outside of Will Howard at OSU, the best depth and high end talent around him in all of CFB. Over the last 2 season his backups are undefeated (including UTSA where he went out in the first quarter). The only 2 games where he was required to put the offense on his shoulders were the Georgia games, and he failed at both, especially the SEC Title game where he turned it over twice in the red zone. He's a decent college QB. A little above average at best. The numbers tell the story. The tape tells the story. It's just what it is. I wish he was great, and I'd love to be able to say he's great and not a weak spot on this offense. If he was saddled with Ehlinger's Texas teams he'd be 6-6, max. He just isn't a playmaker like Ehlinger or Colt. Or especially VY. He's somewhere between Case McCoy/David Ash and Ehlinger on the Longhorn QB scale, he's just been lucky Sark has put together one of the top 3 talented teams in the country around him for 2 years straight. We have everything necessary to be the favorite for the NC except kicker and QB. Those are the weak spots. I hope he transfers to another team, because it would be best for him, and also unless he drastically improves he'd be exposed with lesser talent around him.
  4. It doesn't at all. 100 percent of NFL QBs could sling it in college. Ewers struggles with this level of competition where the windows to throw are much larger and talent level much lower across the board than the NFL, and his team around him as a talent and depth advantage over everyone not named Georgia in the country. Of course he could develop, but he has a very long way to go to just be serviceable NFL backup level. It's why I wouldn't be surprised if he goes 4th round or later. I know he's our QB and I hope he leads us to a title, but gotta be realistic when evaluating talent and not let emotion bias cloud it. The dude is just ok as a college QB.
  5. It wouldn't be surprised if he goes 4th or 5th round like where Dak Prescott was taken. The dude is fragile, immobile, and can't throw a consistent deep ball without floating them. He also turns down winning routes way too much. That's a horrible combination for the NFL.
  6. That describes about 95 percent of the people they've been railing about deporting that do the bad jobs at wages Americans won't agree with. I think "this is NOT what we voted for" is quickly becoming the new slogan. No more maga. Now TINWWVF
  7. Exactly, it's not something that should be gotten rid of like these maga racists want, it's something that needs better regulation attached to it to keep Elon and pieces of shit like him from abusing the system
  8. It's not a law. It all depends on the company, and like everything else some companies are good with it and some are bad. There's two medical research companies I've worked with that I know for a fact have used it to suppress wages and save cost. Not every company does it, but it give financial advantages to those that abuse the system, which in turn give competetive advantages, which incentivizes companies to screw over American workers. That's what I believe should be stopped.
  9. The problem is allowing billionaires to exploit the system to create a class of indentured servants, to work double time for a fraction of the going rate, while holding their visa status over their heads if they refuse. Find a way to legislate that out of the equation and I agree. They should not be allowed to pay them less, nor force them to work more, just because they're H1B. The pay should be the same going rate for American citizens as well as H1B for those roles. Also, should be reserved only for areas that are deficient in American born talent. Use it like the transfer portal should be used. To supplement your team but not to replace it.
  10. At this point the conference genie isn't going back in the box. So I'd change it where week 2 of the season and week 4 are automatically reserved for the SEC and Big 10 playing both the Big 12 and ACC in 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, etc. matchups based on the previous season's finishes. It's not perfect, but it would at least match up the weaker conferences with the stronger ones for 2 games to give the committee more data to decide the final teams in and the slots. Then just do away with automatic bye for top 4 conference champions.
  11. They chose perfectly. We dodged their jag legacy asses
  12. He's no where near that athletic
  13. What's a step daughter in law? If you have a step daughter you married her mom or dad.
  14. Just like Isaiah Bond this year
  15. Preparing for NFL draft/combine
  16. Lulz aggy
  17. You do that by fixing the blocking in front of the returner so he has a chance of breaking one.
  18. I'll be damned. That does sound like Arkansas
  19. I thought Knigga Twins was a rap duo
  20. Do you rubes even watch the games? He's had several, including one keeping a drive alive in the 4th on a slant in the SEC title game. Where he was being interfered with. He drew 2 PIs and made a contested catch in the Clemson game. The PIs he had his man beaten by 2 steps minimum but the terrible Ewers under throws made him pull up and get run into by the DB. A QB who can throw a proper deep ball and those are TDs. That's part of the problem. Ewers doesn't hit him on routes where his speed is a factor. He's also just been behind Bond all season at that WR spot. But he's definitely the better receiver right now, and has been since Bond for hurt in the OU game. He should have been getting those snaps, but Bond is a big dollar portal addition and Sark was going to let him fight through injury. I get it. His blocking on the outside alone was a big factor in the running game vs Clemson over what Bond gives. Blue's 77 yd TD doesn't happen without Wingo keeping the outside corner pinned and creating the wide lane giving Blue the sideline.
  21. Bobby has mentioned multiple times over the last couple of weeks that Livingston is looking great in practice and it appears the staff is expecting him to produce some next season. That would be a random player to be pumping if he wasn't hearing something about it
  22. You haven't been at a single practice, so how the fuck would you know?
  23. I think it says a lot he's missed 5 games (counting UTSA since he played all of 1 series) in these 2 seasons and his backups are 5-0. He's been in a Stetson Bennett situation where just about every other aspect of the team built around him is either elite or borderline elite. He hasn't had to put the team on his back and push them to a win except in the SEC title game where he turned it over twice in the red zone. Hopefully we won't need him to do that at any time going forward. If this team had a playmaker at QB like Colt, VY, or even Ehlinger I think they'd be the overwhelming favorite.
