  1. And of course he does in the most awkward, uncoordinated, tarded way possible You better check your math, sir
  2. Nope, Annie is not ok. Not only can she still not afford eggs, she spent thousand of dollars to travel to DC for an inauguration she couldn't get into. And she's about to lose her disability, social security, and Medicaid benefits
  3. Price now 1/20 on I45 between Dallas and Houston. The Republican/Trump fuckery has begun
  4. Just quickly skimmed over the last few pages of this thread, since I hadn't clicked on it in almost a week, and just came to the realization this is what entering a dystopian futuristic totalitarian hell hole would have looked like to people in 1987. We have arrived. I think I'm mostly just going to check out. The small battles will forever be ongoing, but it's become apparent to me the war has been lost. Whatever will happen on a national scale, or even state-wide/local scale, is completely out of my control. Just have to hope the every day, normal day to day life doesn't change too much in the coming years, but even if it does we'll just have to deal with it like in 2020. Good luck to everyone here.
  5. Ole Miss is right now and they're top 25 in the country. They obviously aren't having problems getting players to play for him. Where is Texas ranked? That's the whole point. He was going to get a second chance no matter what in college basketball. The second chance should have come here. Exceptional talents get exceptional leeway for a transgression, it's the American Way. The only loser here is the UT Basketball program and it's fans. If a player does it once he's kicked off the team unless he's an exceptional talent. Then he's suspended for a while. I'm not going to name names, but I personally know of 2 UT football players that had incidents/allegations with domestic violence behind the scenes when I was on campus. Neither was kicked off the team. The powers that be need to decide if they want to attempt to be a big player in this sport and challenge for a title. If not, we'll see it with their actions. Right now, I do not believe they are a serious program. So my expectations are extremely low, the goal is making the tournament and nothing more.
  6. Of course he is. Just look at him. Rarely has there ever been a dude that just looks like he chases 17 yr old girls more than him
  7. Because of 1 game? Where everyone on the team didn't show up and the 240 million $$$ QB shit his pants like Hudson Card? Nah, fuck that. Dan Quinn is a true G. Amazing job getting to the NFC title game with a rookie QB. Shout out to Biadasz and every former Cowboy on that squad. They finally got to a place where winning isn't prohibited by natural law Grossman Chicago Super Bowl year was 2006/2007. The season Romo dropped the snap
  8. Gerry said virtually every SEC conference win so far has the winning team scoring 75+ These offenses are too good, no one is keeping them low enough to win scoring in the 60s.
  9. Why? He was coaching for fucking losers in Dallas and his defenses led them to 12-5 3 straight years. He's a damn good coach. He was smart to get the hell away from the Joneses. Washington showing what getting rid of toxic ownership, and getting owners who hire football people and stay out of the way can do.
  10. Look familiar? Cemented as the 2 biggest loser, choker, worst franchises in the NFL for 29 years.
  11. Where did you get this from? And it needs to be pointed out every damn page until the people who made that decision fix the fuck up
  12. I still contend the AD did the wrong thing firing him. That was a situation that called for a suspension for the season, and rehabilitation with anger management training during suspension. Dude has Ole Miss at 15-3 losing to a top 15 team in OT by 3 already. RT can't stay within 20 of Florida. 2 years later I'm saying the same things I said then. Terrible decision. The program is in shambles and it's their own fault.
  13. This absolutely does. The combination of a QB who is immobile and can't throw deep limits the offense in ways you have no idea about. One of them is personnel. If the QB can't account for one of the ends in the running game you have to have a blocking TE in the game to even the numbers. You can go 12 personnel but then you're taking off a receiver for a receiving TE which doesn't make much sense unless you can catch the other team in a heavy set with 3 LBs. Almost never happens if they know your receiving TE can't block well. They'll match personnel with him with a corner or safety.
  14. He took a lot more money up front with the NIL package that brought him here in the first place. Was he signing on for new NIL elsewhere once the season started? If so, maybe he saw this place and didn't want to be associated with you dumb cunts
  15. It was at the beginning of the season? Maybe he didn't feel right to take your money if he pretty much knew at that point he wasn't going to play much. I think the fact he stayed out of the portal through the entire playoff run shows he's a team guy and has at least some level of integrity. He could have just told you, but probably didn't want to be telling people he didn't think he'd play.
  16. I don't think it means he's horrible. I just think he was a very bad fit for this team with a completely immobile QB. It's very difficult to play TEs who can't block when you have an immobile QB. You just can't run out of that set worth a shit as the defense will be able to overwhelm you up front with only 6 in a lot of cases. The QB's threat of mobility needs to be able to take one end out of the equation in the run game in order to allow the offense to run with a TE that can't block. He had a solid season in '23 for Alabama with a running QB who could throw deep accurately. He needs to go to a team with a mobile QB for next season. Ewers was just a terrible QB pairing for Niblack
  17. I don't think it was, but I'm pretty sure he didn't see any snaps the next game against OU. Don't remember if he got any against Georgia or anyone after until he got booted. Now, it makes a lot of sense why Sark went after so many receivers in the portal last year. I'm thinking he knew this dude was hanging by a thread and not dedicated, and he couldn't count on him.

    Texas GPA

They've gotten it worked out. Especially now that players are making hundreds of thousands of $$$. At most schools the players take mostly online classes and they take them with "tutors"
  19. Good win. Always want to beat okie
  20. Things republican politicans would know if they were segregating themselves and stewing on their own racism
  21. That's fine, but do it behind the scenes like everyone else. You think every other starter hasn't been doing that too? Don't go on social media crying about being underpaid.
  22. Remember in 2022 when Sark would have Quinn throwing deep like crazy because he was still thinking he had a Mac Jones/Tua Type of arm? Then by the end of the season he dialed it way back because Quinn couldn't hit the side of a barn. I'm sure he, like everyone here, was thinking he just needs experience to develop that part of his game. The problem was he never developed it. As long as Arch keeps developing, and there's no reason to think he won't, it'll be a huge difference. If Sark can keep double digit NFL draft pick types of teams around Arch like he did Quinn the team will level up. Would trade Muhammad for Downs in an instant. One of Wardell Mack or Kobe Black will be ready to step up, and I have faith we can tamper another corner into the portal in the spring. Muhammad's transactional nature about everything is grating on the nerves. He's been paid very well for what he brings but acts like he's being ripped off. We'd know by any transfer portal guys by Friday night at the latest
