"Don't worry about a thing, Mrs. Noogy-burger."
-
It was fucking terrible. If it were just Denzel touching stuff, it could have been cool (and about four minutes long).
-
This movie sucked ass
Denzel was the only even decent part and only because of how weird he was and how he was always touching everything. It was like he had been deprived of any contact his whole life and was going to touch every single thing he saw until he died. His movement was extremely odd.

If Jacque tells me to do it that way, imma do it that way. Dude is a god. I never watch one of his videos without going "fucking hell, he makes it all look so easy."
Amen. The first thing I ever saw that made me start really cooking stuff (and now I'm solid at what I make) was a video of Julia Child and Jacque Pepin making roast lamb leg, navy beans, and a stacked tomato/eggplant/zucchini casserole. I was like "I can do this." I still make that casserole a couple of times a year.

I've done 1 cruise. Celebrity, a few years back. I enjoyed it. It wasn't my favorite travel experience, but it was very nice, and I have zero complaints about the ship, the food, and especially the crew. They were awesome. Every single crew member that we encountered was terrific.
Agreed Celebrity is a good line and the crew is first class. The old shitheads who cut in line and wander around aimlessly and don't know how to use elevators can all fall off the boat as far as I am concerned. Never again.

20 hours ago, Superhero said:We rented a pontoon boat over the weekend. My sister brought out her sunblock.
Exhibit A: The boat is pointing north, the wind is blowing north to south.
My sister (red dot) was about to spray sunblock. I asked her to go to the back of the boat (green cross) where it wouldn't get on anyone else. She said of course and moved to the back of the boat.
Exhibit B: We turned West. The wind is still blowing north to south. Scenario IF my sister had stayed where she was.
We pointed the boat west. Had she stayed where she was, the people on the port side of the boat would have gotten a face full of sunblock.
Exhibit C Boat pointing west. Wind still blowing north to south. Sister actually moved to the back of the boat.
But since my sister had moved to the stern of the boat, she didn't spray anyone but herself.
Wife: I guess your sister didn't need to move since the wind is blowing from the front of the boat to the back.
Yes, she actually thought the wind would change directions depending on which way the boat was pointed.
The delta between how much work you put into this post and the post's value is absolute comedy gold.

That’s amazing. I would have lost my fucking mind. Reminds me (not food related) when my second son was born and my sister in law came down to help out and I was gassed, on fumes, needed a nap in the worst way. My then wife asleep in worse shape than me. SiL walks in the door says she’s here to help after she naps because the drive took it out of her. My ex father in law drove her.
I fucking unloaded all my pent up wrath on her. She was not amused. She said she was going home. My response?
insert “good” gif
I threw my father out of the house one time for similar behavior. I had young pre-toddler and had a full tear quadricep tendon rupture repaired the day before and my wife had to work so my father came over "to help." He said he would bring dinner, which consisted of raw steaks and potatoes that I had to cook. Then he sat and watched television while I took care of the baby. When I went to put the baby to bed (on crutches), he waved his wine glass at me and said "since you're up," so I threw him out instead of murdering him.

Makes one wonder if they're in the early stage of dementia or mental decline.
No, just selfish and stupid. They've always been this way. My MIL is one of the dumbest people I've ever met. But, at least she is sanctimonious about what she believes.
I have been working on my "no I'm not smiling at her funeral" face for a while now.

As in, even if unexpected, I can hit the fridge and pantry and make a meal that is going to leave everyone happy and satisfied, and almost certainly yield leftovers.
People come over, and you feed them. If you KNOW you're going to need to feed people for dinner....FFS. It's not hard. My wife even gets on me when I prepare "way too much food," but I will proudly go to my grave knowing that nobody will EVER leave a planned dinner at my home thinking "man, why didn't he have enough food for everyone?" Not having enough food to feed my guests is nightmare fuel.

Having a hard time wrapping my head around this. Seriously, WTF over!
On another note, I'd love to have seen hidden camera footage of all this. There had to have been some comedy gold facial expressions, superhuman suppression efforts and stolen eye contact going on, LOL.
My mother-in-law did this to my family one year. We flew down to Sarasota (where they retired) on Christmas Day. My b-i-l and his family met up with my family at the Tampa airport, and we all were going to drive together. We were told explicitly not to eat because they had dinner prepared for us. We show up with a collective 4 children who are all very hungry to be greeted by my in-laws ... and four of their couple friends, who had come for Christmas dinner and had already eaten nearly everything. There was only just enough food for the children after I made some scrambled eggs and there was nothing for any of the adults. None of the olds could figure out why we were not happy to be there.
I become furious every time I think about it. Just unbelievable.

Any grown man who does not experience absolute joy watching the kool-aid clip from Segura and Kreischer is untrustworthy.

Okay, even though I know how this will go, I will respond.
I saw him in Birmingham a few years ago, and his opening line was "When will they stop taking our Confederate monuments away from us?" And then he did a long bit about how he looked up how many there are and it's a lot - it's way more than you could possibly imagine. It was excellent.
Sledgehammer, his 2023 special, is funny. Bad Thoughts was awesome. The one parodying Garth Brooks is genuinely outstanding.
I think it's pretty obvious that his "outward disdain for his own fans" is a running gag that all of his fans know is a joke.
Anyhoo, Tom Segura is an excellent standup comedian and I like him so there.

I think Segura's stand up is funny but he's also at a wealth point that he can't talk about anything related to normal people. I also stop any clip if he talks about Texas and Austin like he's a native when he's lived here for 5 minutes.
I think that's part of the problem with podcasting. You just have to talk and talk and talk and 75% of it is "who cares." He is a great stand up.
I also think his friendship and dynamic with Kreischer is very entertaining, even though I don't think Bert is very funny and he would annoy the shit out of me in real life.

Segura is fucking terrible. He was kind of funny years ago but transformed into the most unlikeable preachy hateful comedian out there, which is even worse because he only is where he is in life because of his rich dad paying for him to breakthrough.
Tom Segura also is hilarious. If you think his bit on do not vacation where they film the First 48 is "kind of funny," then I'd like to know who you think is "actually funny".

Shane Gillis is hilarious. Tires is a masterpiece.
If you think he's not funny, then just watch his bit about going to Mt. Vernon and George Washington. Or his bit about his uncle with Down Syndrome, grilled cheeses, the Special Olympics and John Cena. If you still don't like him, then fine but I think he is very funny.

In the latest episode of I'm never right, I'm in the doghouse. We got a new credit card so had to update all our auto pays and saved cards on various places. She made a list and we took care of it. On Sunday I said that I remembered one more we needed to do. She said no that was on the list and we did it. Stupidly, I said no I don't remember seeing it on the list and don't remember doing it. I got a lecture on how I shouldn't make her feel dumb because I questioned her. She then showed me the list, which had it crossed off. I, again stupidly, asked how me saying I don't remember seeing it, or doing it, made her feel dumb. She then totally blew up about how I would not make her feel stupid and screamed for like 5 minutes, and has been pissed ever since.
It made no sense until today when I remembered that 2 weeks ago she said the Costco products were called Kirtland. I said no they are Kirkland and showed her on my phone. She didn't say anything at the time. That's obviously been festering and finally came out this past weekend. Who knows when I'll get some again.
OK, cathartic story/rant over
Why would you do this?

Saban does not care if the players get paid. He thinks the collective should be a sort of universal payment to all players, with individual players free to maximize their own NIL money through endorsements, etc. He is much more concerned about the transferring than he is the paying on principle.
