Ha. My son has been on my ass to get this ordered and if I have to tell him a man from the Texas website I frequent got it first he's gonna shit. But all good -- I think there are at least two of them on there.
It's all yours. I'm still perusing. Good luck!

I’m looking for a specific model of benelli super black eagle that no one seems to have in stock. I don’t think benelli lets you order straight from manufacturer. Does anyone know a good way to get a particular model shotgun that most stores done carry? Thank you!
This is uncanny. I just clicked on the link and was thinking about purchasing the exact same gun since my son is left-handed.
As in, I was about to open Gun Broker and look online for that specific firearm, but I came to check out surly first, and I clicked on the link from Handcruser to you, and that's what I'm looking for.
Somebody needs to reboot the Matrix - things are getting weird.

What is your use of the word "actually" meant to imply here? That setting Williams up to be bracketed on the reg is actually strategically intelligent?
No I just meant it's hard to tell because it was one game at a new position and he was doubled the entire time with net positive results. I agree he looked pretty beat up but that could have happened to anybody.

Ryan Williams needs to be moved back to an outside WR. Otherwise, he'll continue to struggle and get beat up.
Dumb mistake by DeBoer and Grubb...
Actually Williams was doubled nearly the entire time which allowed Bernard to run free as the outside WR for 150 yards

I thought the same. I figured they would take a step back, but still be really good. Or not. This has a Rich Rod at Michigan vibe.

I don't disagree about thinking they're talented, as I have the same struggle. On paper, they have a lot of highly ranked players who, on the field, look like shit. I feel similarly about Deboer. The guy has won everywhere he's been. Why does he have 4 losses to unranked teams in his first 14 games at Bama? That's wild shit. Auburn was making up an affair scandal to get Harsin fired after his 4th loss to an unranked team and that didn't happen until his 25th game.
We have discussed this, likely including earlier in this thread, but the last few classes that Saban signed, while as highly ranked as ever, weren't as well regarded off the Internet by guys I trust on evaluations. There was a halo effect, similarly to what was afforded to Mack Brown in the end at Texas. If Deboer's staff isn't excellent at development, and it's looking rough right now, then they've got a little bit of a doom loop going.
I'm sure everyone is somewhat overreacting and they'll wind up 9-3 and pushing for the playoffs, but what I saw in the trenches and the footage folks are passing around on the quitting, those things are real. Bama has a brutal schedule ahead of them, so they'll need to turn things around quickly.
at FSU (L)
ULM
Wiscy
BYE
at Georgia (L)
Vandy (? surely this is a W, right?)
at Mizzou (?)
Tennessee (?)
at SCar (L)
BYE
LSU (L)
OU (?)
FCS
at Auburn (?)
We can quibble about those 4 Ls coming to fruition, but we can also argue about the ?s as well, as those aren't sure Ws either. This shit has an outside shot of becoming hilarious.
Alabama will absolutely lose to Vanderbilt if it plays anywhere near as poorly as it played against FSU. Pavia will eat them alive.

Castellanos is so awesome that he was benched last year at BC. He is a baby when it comes to handling adversity. He pouts and quits. Wait until a team is containing him and forcing him to be a pocket passer and watch him lose his shit.
The reality is that Alabama was absolutely owned in the trenches on Saturday and then they quit. It reminded me of what the best Bama teams under Saban did to many of their opponents. FSU just made Bama excited to get on the bus and go home.
That OL is B-A-D and FSU's front was eating their lunch all day. Every time I looked up, FSU was in the Bama backfield. It was somewhat hilarious. FSU recorded 3 sacks and 7 TFLs but you could have told me they had 10 sacks and 20 TFLs and I would have believed you. They held Bama to 87 rushing yards.
Conversely, FSU ran for 230 yards, averaging 4.7 ypc. Castellanos spent most of the day free to do whatever he wanted.
31-17 might as well have been 54-17 because it felt more like that watching that game.
Alabama had 87 rushing yards AND had 67 of those yards ON ITS FIRST DRIVE.
Alabama is trash this year.

It was fucking terrible. If it were just Denzel touching stuff, it could have been cool (and about four minutes long).
-
This movie sucked ass
Denzel was the only even decent part and only because of how weird he was and how he was always touching everything. It was like he had been deprived of any contact his whole life and was going to touch every single thing he saw until he died. His movement was extremely odd.

If Jacque tells me to do it that way, imma do it that way. Dude is a god. I never watch one of his videos without going "fucking hell, he makes it all look so easy."
Amen. The first thing I ever saw that made me start really cooking stuff (and now I'm solid at what I make) was a video of Julia Child and Jacque Pepin making roast lamb leg, navy beans, and a stacked tomato/eggplant/zucchini casserole. I was like "I can do this." I still make that casserole a couple of times a year.

I've done 1 cruise. Celebrity, a few years back. I enjoyed it. It wasn't my favorite travel experience, but it was very nice, and I have zero complaints about the ship, the food, and especially the crew. They were awesome. Every single crew member that we encountered was terrific.
Agreed Celebrity is a good line and the crew is first class. The old shitheads who cut in line and wander around aimlessly and don't know how to use elevators can all fall off the boat as far as I am concerned. Never again.

20 hours ago, Superhero said:We rented a pontoon boat over the weekend. My sister brought out her sunblock.
Exhibit A: The boat is pointing north, the wind is blowing north to south.
My sister (red dot) was about to spray sunblock. I asked her to go to the back of the boat (green cross) where it wouldn't get on anyone else. She said of course and moved to the back of the boat.
Exhibit B: We turned West. The wind is still blowing north to south. Scenario IF my sister had stayed where she was.
We pointed the boat west. Had she stayed where she was, the people on the port side of the boat would have gotten a face full of sunblock.
Exhibit C Boat pointing west. Wind still blowing north to south. Sister actually moved to the back of the boat.
But since my sister had moved to the stern of the boat, she didn't spray anyone but herself.
Wife: I guess your sister didn't need to move since the wind is blowing from the front of the boat to the back.
Yes, she actually thought the wind would change directions depending on which way the boat was pointed.
The delta between how much work you put into this post and the post's value is absolute comedy gold.

That’s amazing. I would have lost my fucking mind. Reminds me (not food related) when my second son was born and my sister in law came down to help out and I was gassed, on fumes, needed a nap in the worst way. My then wife asleep in worse shape than me. SiL walks in the door says she’s here to help after she naps because the drive took it out of her. My ex father in law drove her.
I fucking unloaded all my pent up wrath on her. She was not amused. She said she was going home. My response?
insert “good” gif
I threw my father out of the house one time for similar behavior. I had young pre-toddler and had a full tear quadricep tendon rupture repaired the day before and my wife had to work so my father came over "to help." He said he would bring dinner, which consisted of raw steaks and potatoes that I had to cook. Then he sat and watched television while I took care of the baby. When I went to put the baby to bed (on crutches), he waved his wine glass at me and said "since you're up," so I threw him out instead of murdering him.

Makes one wonder if they're in the early stage of dementia or mental decline.
No, just selfish and stupid. They've always been this way. My MIL is one of the dumbest people I've ever met. But, at least she is sanctimonious about what she believes.
I have been working on my "no I'm not smiling at her funeral" face for a while now.

As in, even if unexpected, I can hit the fridge and pantry and make a meal that is going to leave everyone happy and satisfied, and almost certainly yield leftovers.
People come over, and you feed them. If you KNOW you're going to need to feed people for dinner....FFS. It's not hard. My wife even gets on me when I prepare "way too much food," but I will proudly go to my grave knowing that nobody will EVER leave a planned dinner at my home thinking "man, why didn't he have enough food for everyone?" Not having enough food to feed my guests is nightmare fuel.

Having a hard time wrapping my head around this. Seriously, WTF over!
On another note, I'd love to have seen hidden camera footage of all this. There had to have been some comedy gold facial expressions, superhuman suppression efforts and stolen eye contact going on, LOL.
My mother-in-law did this to my family one year. We flew down to Sarasota (where they retired) on Christmas Day. My b-i-l and his family met up with my family at the Tampa airport, and we all were going to drive together. We were told explicitly not to eat because they had dinner prepared for us. We show up with a collective 4 children who are all very hungry to be greeted by my in-laws ... and four of their couple friends, who had come for Christmas dinner and had already eaten nearly everything. There was only just enough food for the children after I made some scrambled eggs and there was nothing for any of the adults. None of the olds could figure out why we were not happy to be there.
I become furious every time I think about it. Just unbelievable.

Any grown man who does not experience absolute joy watching the kool-aid clip from Segura and Kreischer is untrustworthy.

Okay, even though I know how this will go, I will respond.
I saw him in Birmingham a few years ago, and his opening line was "When will they stop taking our Confederate monuments away from us?" And then he did a long bit about how he looked up how many there are and it's a lot - it's way more than you could possibly imagine. It was excellent.
Sledgehammer, his 2023 special, is funny. Bad Thoughts was awesome. The one parodying Garth Brooks is genuinely outstanding.
I think it's pretty obvious that his "outward disdain for his own fans" is a running gag that all of his fans know is a joke.
Anyhoo, Tom Segura is an excellent standup comedian and I like him so there.

I think Segura's stand up is funny but he's also at a wealth point that he can't talk about anything related to normal people. I also stop any clip if he talks about Texas and Austin like he's a native when he's lived here for 5 minutes.
I think that's part of the problem with podcasting. You just have to talk and talk and talk and 75% of it is "who cares." He is a great stand up.
I also think his friendship and dynamic with Kreischer is very entertaining, even though I don't think Bert is very funny and he would annoy the shit out of me in real life.
