  1. Regarding the one rifle approach we were discussing before the NRA news broke, .30-06 or .270 would be good for everything you want to do. I like the .270 because of its trajectory and terminal ballistics.

Too late to do any good. WLP and the faction he’s associated has ruined the NRA, probably permanently. It’s no longer an effective advocate for hunters and shooters, and probably never will be again.

That's simply not true, even if it's the conventional wisdom. NRA won Bruen. NRA and its state affiliates have their fingerprints on range, shooting, and hunting issues all over the country. And even with its current problems and mismanagement, the NRA is still the only organization that moves the needle at the federal legislative level. Other orgs have definitely caught up/surpassed NRA on litigation but one of the main reasons is that they are using old NRA lawyers so it's a continuation of the NRA strategy to some degree.

  3. Just to double down, a bull bar (like ARB) and a grille guard are not the same thing. The latter are affectionately known as "damage multipliers" in the Land Cruiser community. They do not provide any real protection or benefit and tend to get scraped up - at best - and can really mess up your truck with very minor contact. The bull bar is a structural improvement that does provide protection. It's also heavy. You're better off with no grill guard at all. Just my two cents as somebody who's gone both routes.

And the ARB product is awesome.

“Here’s the link, please order these” doesn’t seem that out of line of a request for someone with decades of govt purchasing experience. But you’re 100% right, when she said she was buying in the upper level because of the kid and there were good deals I ASS-umed she meant directly above where I asked her to purchase or at least in the same proximity as there were (Still are I’m sure) tons of seats available on the visitors side. Oh well, just another ankle roll along the trail to marital bliss.

Still your fault. My wife is objectively brilliant and purchasing tickets for anything instantly renders her borderline retarded. I don't know if it's like how women can't read maps, but she never gets good seats. She bought NCAA tournament floor level seats....behind the backboard.
