its all about trying to get back to back possessions end of 1H and start of 2H.  lots of coaches, especially air raid guys, think that way.  I'm not saying it was right, its just that a leopard doesn't change his spots.

Yes, but Alabama has elected to receive in every game this year (I believe). So you're giving them exactly what they want. Which, I don't know, may not be a great plan.

I’m actually about a mile from the White House on west side. Will be here for next three nights.

I did grab a steak at the ‘original’ Prime Rib in Baltimore last night (where we flew in). Was waited on by ‘The Legend’ a dude who has worked there for 45 years and was spot on. Muy bueno.

Of course my youngest wants pizza tonight so we are going to a place called II Canale in Georgetown. Glad to hear the rec on BLT. I read about it and grabbed a reservation for tomorrow.

Sorry you had to go to Baltimore.

If you have a car and some time, hit up Peking Gourmet Inn for Chinese. It’s in the VA burbs but not too far. Legendary place we’ve been to for like 30 years and was a big 41 hangout. Fantastic Peking duck. They take reservations.

    Yes

Heard I need to hit Palm and not BLT for steaks....researching more

No. Palm is fucking terrible. The last four times I went the steak was inedible. But people go because it is "cool," and that's where the clients wanted to go.

Headed to DC Friday. Touring Georgetown with my youngest. Where’s the best steak and Asian in the area....and breakfast spots.

    Aprreciate any recs.

I think the best steak is either BLT or Capital Grille. People like the Palm. Those people are very, very wrong. Morton's and Prime Rib are okay too.

  7. OE is fine if you can squeeze into the gun bar, but if you wait in the cattle call for dinner it's just not worth it. The oysters are pretty good, though, so I will give you that. I actually prefer to go there late at night if I go.

Oh and I will keep on pimping my favorite restaurant in DC: Cafe Mozart.

    It's a cult, dude.

I have a ton of A&M fan friends because my college roommate's family went there. They are good people. But now that we play A&M every year, I have to say, the cheerleaders who pretend to be in the army and the fans are all weird as shit. It's unsettling.

Bama is top dog, Aggie is becoming second dog and LSU is the can of Alpo

    Life-long Bama fan here:

Where did you get this bullshit from? That's way off base.

  10. None of the movie made sense

    Spoiler

So the guy who had access to billions and billions and billions of dollars, who controlled the fortune of the guy who made dinosaurs and cloned his own daughter, did all of this...for $100m? So he would have money, to do what he was already doing?

Also, the auction was ridiculous. Private jets cost way more than $10,000,000. Here's a DINOSAUR. It is $10,000,000. That makes no sense.

  11. I lived there from 2010-2017 and I was up there a few weeks ago.

I think it sucks and is only getting worse. But, at least they just voted to RAISE property taxes again.

In the midst of my 4th full run on the show, and now that I'm living in Baltimore it has more impact that ever. Seeing scenes shot in my neighborhood, and knowing that many others were just blocks away, creates a strange contrast from the interior of my loft apartment.

This is a city of striking contrasts, and I love that the show was incredibly successful at painting a true portrait of Baltimore.

Condolences on living in Baltimore. I lived there for seven years. It is a shithole.
