Probably not popular but I am team Earnie Ball black nylon strap. Because it slide across my shirts and doesn’t catch on them when I fidget with the guitar and I like the strap to disappear. No one notices it.

    Lame I know. But easy.

I had one strap for like 20 years, it may have been an Ernie Ball. It's black I know that. I remember I got it back then because it was a 60" strap and they used to be impossible to find.

Wait, what?  You mean the same model, right?

I'm team nylon because I'm a cheap-ass, but I've had mine cause a guitar dive bomb enough times that I'm looking into strap locks and some nice old-school leather straps.

Lol, yeah I meant same model, not the actual one.

  3. I've always been fairly strap agnostic myself somehow, but I've taken a little more interest the past year or so for whatever reason.

I know my pops had the original strap that Page was using in Song Remains the Same because I have a picture of him using it, but not sure if he still has it. I probably should pester him as he is downsizing these days. Supposed to get one of his Acoustic bass amps he has piled up in the garage at some point.

Do you have a gin preference?

I’m not a gin drinker but I suppose Tanqueray is the standard. I tried Esme gin and noticed a not insignificant flavor difference. Also, Tanqueray has 7% more ABV than Esme.

For a Negroni I wouldn't use Tanqueray. I'm sure DDD will chime in with his picks, but ive always found Gunpowder Gin and Anitca the best combination. Something like Junipero or Aviation could be good as well. The London dry gins are a little too bland for a Negroni in my experience

That's gotta be about the worst F1 team name i can recall.  Headed toward NASCAR territory.  What's worse, Visa Cash App, or Goody's Headache Powder?

Sure, but more street courses is exactly the opposite of what F1 needs.

I’d take 5 Catalunyas over this Madrid monstrosity, Miami, Vegas, Baku, and Jeddah.

It also means that places like Spa are going to get axed.

Just wanted to show off my new rear hub that my shop got in from Phil this past weekend. All the mechanics at the shop were giddy as I doubt they'd seen a Phil Wood lately or ever in person. Not the lightest but probably the strongest.

Blue Cheer was the first heavy metal band.  In 1968, that genre didn’t exist.  Serious Marshall Stacks in the background.  Unfortunately, they weren’t on as the band lip synced through this performance on American Bandstand.  If Blue Cheer had played ‘live’, they would have blown Dick Clark and his audience into the next time zone.  Never got to see them perform, but friends who did said they couldn’t hear for up to a week following the concert.  “Summertime Blues” did well on top 40 radio peaking at No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.  As the story goes, Dick Clark caught them smoking a bowl of hash in the dressing room before this performance and said, “It’s people like you who give Rock ‘n Roll a bad name” to which band leader Dickie Peterson said, “Why, thank you very much”.  The band got its name from LSD that was popular at the time in San Francisco.  They should have dosed Dick Clark’s coffee.  Now, that would’ve been some must see TV.

    Is this an unpopular opinion?

These dudes were the loudest band ever.

Hell, sounds like you haven't been to the football board lately.

I do agree with you that people have wrapped up their whole identity in politics to our great detriment. It's basically become a stand in for sports
