It's Evans. It's been chronicled on here at length for a few weeks now.

Sorry -- I missed that. Last I heard of Evans was when there was discussion about how disinterested he appeared in North Shore's ESPN-televised loss. Was unaware what happened next. Was that the only game he played in?

I love me a good Cold War spy movie and gotdaman... Spy Game is one of the best.

The Scott brothers -- this one was a Tony joint -- usually made/make pretty good flicks.

  3. Saw this alluded to in a couple threads about a RB recruit aggy thinks they're in on -- but probably not -- getting booted from his HS team for fighting or pissing off teammates. I Googled Zach Evans, Ngata and Achane and nothing hit. Looks like it's probably Evans based on a few comments from not long ago. Is that right?

Michael Bennett, Cliff Avril, and Bruce Irvin were the 3 biggest names.  They also had a transcendent secondary and as soon as Kam Chancellor started getting hurt and Sherman lost a step, they were poor again and Richard got the axe.  Our safeties are industry average to below average, Seattle had arguably the best duo of the last decade or so.  And now...

We have major issues up the middle and back of our defense.

No mention of Bobby Wagner? Dude was/is an absolute destroyer from his MLB position.

    same experience...just an awful show.

Never saw them live but Bob Wilonsky posted an old DMN concert review for their show in 1984. One of the responses said it was a terrible show. His quote: "I was at that show and as much as I liked the Cars thought they were TERRIBLE that night, the epitome of a studio band that had no business on an arena stage. They looked bored and listless. When people ask me what was the most disappointing concert I ever saw, that's the one I mention. Ric Ocasek was a genius but as a live band they were shit."

    Indeed. Perhaps his greatest accomplishment.

Was reading up on Ocasek after hearing the news last night and found out she was 18 when they met and started dating.

John Sharp will make sure the route takes it directly in front of Dead Dog/Kroger Field.

I've seen the group trying to do this make a couple presentations to network/organizational groups in the last 4-5 years and College Station was the stop along the way at that time. I've finally stopped getting the stupid text message updates from them.

I have my sous vide and cast iron method as good as I can get with the equipment I’m working with (heating the shit out of the skillet over an outside gas burner, which maxes out at 520 or so), and I can’t get the sear I want. Been wanting to get a searzall, but I’m about to get a serious upgrade in outdoor cooking equipment and I want to try searing it at closer to 650 before going with the searzall.

But until that happens, I’ll try this method and will report back.

As long as Heim is the king of Fort Worth that ain't gonna happen any time soon

Heim has been passed by Panther City, Flores and BBQ on the Brazos at a minimum. There are a half-dozen or more places that have just opened -- or are doing pop-ups in advance of an opening -- in the last few months along.
