Well he was #1 in that one service maybe. He was #2 in the 247 composite behind Ewers. But given that Ewers was one of the only 1.000 players ever I don't think Foreman was actually #1 anywhere, or at least in any major service's rankings.
He may have been #1 in a number of places up til Ewers reclassified at the last minute.

I love the guys who are claiming that transfers rarely work out. One guy says it and others back it up. Yeah, it never happens. Not with Texas with Watts, Ewers, or Mitchell. Not FSU with most of their skill position starters. Not UW with Penix, Oregon with Nix, so on and so forth. Just idiots posting idiotic shit.
Wait til they try to explain why Oklahoma State beat the shit out of them in the bowl game, and realize that half the team were transfers.

Can someone point me to the Transfer thread.............oh wait.
Are you saying that arguing about Baker, Kyler, Hurts, and Caleb doesn't belong in the Transfer Thread?

Pretty sure MBG routinely posts / retweets the most idiotic posts they can find from various message boards. The real top dipshit here is redbirds2235, not MBG.

So Jimbo is going to be an analyst for Corn next year?

Not surprised. We'll see if he can win the starting QB job at Oregon.

It appears that Collin Klein was doing in-home visits for A&M a few days ago. Updating websites and Twitter is probably just not high on his priority list. But don't worry, Mike Elko is a stickler for details. He'll get that straightened out lickety split.- 5

It also makes retention harder. If someone is only there for the money, then they're for sale to the highest bidder every year.
That's why aggy should only recruit 3-star players that want to play for A&M.

Leslie Lampton - $2.4Billion
Tommy Duff - $2.3Billion
Jim Duff - $2.3Billion
Jim Barksdale - $700 Million
You only need to have a couple heavy hitters with deep pockets.

Maybe it's bullshit, but the FSU 247 guy reported Payton wanted 20% more than Verse, and Rodney Hill wanted $100k more than Benson.

I mean you literally just explained that they won the national championship two years in a row and then missed the playoff this year. I know we're not used to that level of national prominence recently but that's the definition of headed down.
I'm as hopeful as anybody that they are headed downward, but catching one loss to Alabama isn't necessarily indicative of that.

What's being spoken about is probably against state law and NCAA rules, but it's a private contract, and a teenager is probably scared shitless about being sued or not getting their money, so it's unlikely they'd break the contract.
There's a 30 day window if the coach is fired.
