I have seen enough of Blue down the stretch to know that he is an absolute badass who is going to kill it in our offense. As a runner, pass catcher, and if they let him, kickoff returns. He has rare speed for a back and plays big. That fumble was unfortunate, he was trying to make a play and get extra yards. But he is going to be a major, major problem for opposing teams.
I am concerned about precisely two positions right now, DT and TE. And I am not all that concerned about them. I suspect they will be addressed.
How many teams are out there kicking themselves because Blue's agent floated his name as a possible portal entrant last year looking for NIL, and they gave him a big "Nope"?

Bond, Golden outside
Bolden, Cook inside
Wingo, Butler, Moore, Niblett in the wings.
Damn.
We could just do hockey lines. Keep the same OL, but switch out Unit A and Unit B.
A: Ewers, Baxter, Bond, Golden, Bolden, Stanford TE
B. Manning, Blue, Wingo, Cook, Moore, Helm

I only watched one Oregon State game last year but remembered him being electric.
Here are the highlights:
Not sure what stood out to me more. How great Bolden looked or how shitty DJ Uiagaleilei looked.

I’m thinking I should be a AD, I can’t do worse than Bjork and you still fall upwards. (Insert cat I should be AD meme)
I'm guessing that you've already had the recommended lobotomy

Daniels is the wildcard for me. He’s had 3 years of improved throwing accuracy, passing yards, TDs and INTs. His rushing also improved year by year. Doesn’t have any injuries to really note. He’s hard to compare to someone NFL wise. He’s not the thrower that Watson was coming out but he’s a better runner whereas he’s a much more polished passer than Lamar was but not the runner (Lamar is a lazy comparison to me, I look more Justin Fields/Kyler Murray outta college). We’ve seen where Fields and Murray stand as far as the NFL is concerned.
Fields is a good comp. So is Hurts. Maybe some Marcus Mariota as well.

I'm not disagreeing with your overall point, but Will Anderson was from the SEC

This was on one of the channels I was scrolling through the other day. I hadn't seen it in awhile. While I find damned near any scene to be hilarious, that scene at the restaurant where they play the video and the aftermath when they're driving home, holy shit. It's still awesome.
Don't let @blacklab catch you putting movie reviews in the 2024 recruiting roundup.
Also, in 2039 - on the 100th anniversary of Aggy's only natty - people will be in the 2040 recruiting thread bitching about Will Ferrell movies from the early 2000s, and saying how unfunny they are and how they couldn't find anything at all funny about Anchorman, Talladega Nights, Stepbrothers, or Old School.

Is Tulane star chasing, or are they actually loading up with talent?

He's got a little DeSean Jackson in his build and style of play, albeit he's probably a tenth of a second slower and needs to continue to develop. Either way, I don't think he's going to be a bust.
I think the receiver numbers are so high because we've struggled to recruit Sark's type at the position. That seems to be changing with Cook, Wingo and Butler in back-to-back classes. Don't forget two of our 2023 targets are coming off injury. They are boom or bust recruits.
We are in a unique position this year with no returning production and an experienced QB. Also, remember Bolden is a specialty piece. His style is unique as a receiver and he's also a special teams threat.
I agree the portal can help at receiver.
How many HS receivers depends on their skillset. If you're landing Dakorien Moore and Ryan Williams in every class then an average of 2.5 to 3 per year (5 or 6 every 2 years) is the number. If you're only landing one of those guys then 3.5 is closer to the number. Some of the top of the line kids will only be here 3 years. Numbers can get thin when one or two kids leave in 3 years and some of the others are busts.
As one poster mentioned, some of the HS kids left behind will transfer.
Receiver is one of the most important positions in modern football, especially if you're looking for elite speed and some length to go with the route running and ball skills.
Recruiting the Dakorien Moore and Ryan Williams types in the high school ranks while looking in the portal for the Silas Bolden and Isaiah Bond type of smaller receivers is probably the best way to go. Find the slot and unique mismatches in the portal.
Discount Parker Livingstone at your own peril.
More than likely, he moved in to the dorms yesterday, slayed 3 or 4 sorority chicks last night while he serenaded them with the dulcet sounds of his best Alan Jackson impersonation, and proceeded to lock down a starting WR position today.

Maybe OSU doesn't care about sports, and just wants way better facilities.

Not counting the interim AD, this will be Aggy's fifth AD since 2012.

Oh yeah, I had the guy Oregon got as the Juco guy.... well I guess UofH and all you can see the mistake.
edit: UH = Juco
UH is more akin to a High School than a JUCO, but I'll allow it.

There's no way. No school would be stupid enough to sign a coach to a contract for $100MM guaranteed with no buyout. Oh wait, nevermind.
