  1. Looks like Texags has been dropping bags off at the Harris household hourly and doesn't have any updates to show for it.
  2. My guess on the NIL deal is Elon Musk comes out with the Hook 'em OL Cybertruck edition, which explains the delay in production.
  3. I heard Herman group texted the players at halftime of the OU, OSU, Baylor, and ISU games to give up in the second half.
  4. We have a goalie package where Casey Thompson runs wildcat for one play so that "both will play"
  5. https://www.instagram.com/p/CTOFZisl-zA/?utm_medium=copy_link J'mond Tapp commits to the good guys
  6. I get it our WR group, especially outside, doesn't look good. But it's also similar in quality to last year's with a higher upside if people like Whittington and Moore (Omeire healthy would be found money) remain healthy. Healthy Whittington will be better than any WR last year. Moore was our most productive WR last year. Worthy (and Money for that matter) should easily surpass Jake Smith's production and dependability last year. Those receivers alone can at least match the bulk of our receiving production from last year. Screw the backup depth dropping passes in practice who won't be counted on for significant production. Maybe Washington and Dixon catch better in games. Add in better receiving TE's, RB's, and average to slightly above average OL play and our passing doesn't look as pessimistic vs big 12 defenses. Oh and Sark actually running the best RB in college football and the offensive potential isn't purely doom and gloom.
  7. What a sensationalist emotional poon. We got one of the most electric RBs in the country and he listed off a 5* and a top 100 4* WR who runs a 4.40 40 and he's worried that outside of them WR is gonna be the difference in our games?
  8. He still has till Sunday before 3pm to switch for banks. Hopefully it's just Aggie political propaganda he's being fed.
  9. Gerry spreading some seed again with another tweet. At least it was a cleaner Freudian slip tweet this time.
  10. This is probably alluding to enhanced testing for myocarditis/pericarditis and cardiomyopathy that develop as a result of covid with ultrasound, cardiac markers, ekg, etc for all. There's no reliable way to predict who will develop those from covid.
  11. Are you arguing there should be a disproportionate amount of liability resulting in cancellation of football season for covid compared to other statistically comparable things that can happen to an athlete, i.e. other forms of myocarditis, cardiomyopathies, heat strokes, rhabdomyolosis, car accidents, CTE? Why does covid warrant shutting down the season but the others don't? What is your solution?
  12. I agree they are both obviously biased. However when we talk about the true statistical and evidence-based approach to the sequela of covid, the side effects are being disproprtionaly overblown based on data thus far. After 5 months of covid data, I haven't seen a single article showing a significant increase in mortality or morbidity for college -aged kids. Right now the public is acting as if this is the first time anyone has heard of viral myocarditis; and we are screening cardiac enzymes in asymptomatic young adults. What does the data we have gathered the past 5 months shown? If there is a statistically significant enough increase in the incidence of myocarditis, cardiomyopathy, coagulopathy, fibrosis in college-aged kids, then that is what we should be examining from a medical standpoint. The financial gain or liability is for the other institutions, to decide.
  13. Not yet. The evidence thus far has shown the loudest factors driving the bias of a true evidence-based medical approach has been financial liability (disproportionately related to covid) and journalistic hyperbole (overstated risk). The loudest factors have been overinflating the risk of covid, not downplaying.
  14. That may be the most important issue, and there are several other issues. However, that is not the most important issue driving the bias of covid statistics and an evidence-based medical approach toward covid's risk on the athlete population.
  15. We live in a world where all information is biased for political or ideological gain. A world where all viral myocarditis forms don't matter and only covid myocarditis matters. Also, we live in a world where all forms of threat to players don't matter, only those that are socially, politically, or emotionally relevant due. A similar small percentage of players die from or get heat strokes, rhabdomyolosis, cardiomyopathies, other myocarditis, CTE, etc. Those issues aren't as politically or emotionally relevant right now.
  16. I guess you can debate whether it counts as a 2nd RB or not (for Giles accounting purposes), but you always wanna look for a hybrid-role guy who can change the game. A speedster guy like mookie or smith who can also take some carries. A pass catching RB who can run routes too like whittington, especially with the direction we are headed on offense.
  17. So basically from this video our LBs could stifle a paleolithic big 10/SEC style run game, but are too slow to tackle OSU, KSU, TTU, and WVU.
  18. ...and along the way you may pass thru a place called Seminole, TX. There, Mrs. Moore will show you the entrance to your next portal.
  19. I mean it makes sense. Cam was just teaching Bru how to use The Portal
  20. Whether the USC247 news is true or not, I just picked a good time for my bathroom break
