Donald Trump is an enemy of the state. That seems like grounds for impeachment and removal from office. He's aiding and abetting our enemies. Willingly or not, he's an asset of hostile foreign intelligence services. Regardless of collusion with the Russians to corrupt the electoral process he's an existential threat to national security. That should be enough.

reminds of the bucky lagrange bit from family guy.  maybe not malicious but certainly inept and detrimental to the country

I set up something like this:  http://www.mrmalty.com/chiller.php when i brew 10 gallon batches and especially lagers

you need two pumps, but it works really well.

    - using pump 1, you recirculate your hot wort from kettle spigot to back into the bottom of the kettle. position the hose to that it flows and makes a whirpool around the immersion chiller

    - the immersion chiller starts off using faucet water to get the wort down to around 100F.  Then switch to using pump 2 which takes in water from a cooler filled with ice/water.  Move the return/drain hose to send the water back into the cooler.

it's does not take too long to get the temp down to 60-65F.

In place of pump 2, you could just use a (clean) big spoon/paddle to keep the wort moving around the coils.

"In place of pump 2 pump 1, you could just use a (clean) big spoon/paddle to keep the wort moving around the coils."  typo.

I got a new mash tun for xmas that I need to try out.

I thought that was Sirois's take. (Whoever it was, they aren't entirely wrong. That division has been the worst in the NFL for nearly 20 years. That definitely helps.)

gagree.  I know Bob had a whole segment on it last week.  and it highlighted that Brady is not that great in road playoff games, which they play few and far between because their division sucks and they can normally get homefield throughout.

That's latin, darlin'.  Evidently Cheeseweasel and Walden are educated men.

    How I really hate them...

I was curious and looked it up.  Here is the translation of the whole scene from https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0108358/trivia

Here is the translation of what Doc and Johnny Ringo are saying to one another in Latin: Doc Holliday: In vino veritas. (In wine there is truth.) Johnny Ringo: Age quod agis. (Do what you do.) Doc Holliday: Credat Judaeus Apella, non ego. (Let Apella the Jew believe, not I.) Johnny Ringo: Juventus stultorum magister. (Youth is the teacher of fools.) Doc Holliday: In pace requiescat. (Rest in peace.) The line "Credat Judaeus Apella, non ego" (Let Apella the Jew believe, not I) was confusing to viewers; scholarly papers showed that Romans used the phrase to show contempt for Judaism's belief that divine power was involved in everyday life.

    Along with this little nugget:

Willem Dafoe was the original choice to play Doc Holliday, but Buena Vista refused to distribute the film if he was cast, due to Dafoe's role in the controversial The Last Temptation of Christ (1988).

Mind if I bombard y'all with some questions?  Okay, then.

I'd been talking about going all-grain one of these days, and my darling wife went a little nuts at Austin Homebrew for Christmas.  She got me their upgrade kit (igloo cooler mash tun, 8gal brewpot etc.) but also a Brewer's Edge Mash & Boil electric doohickey.  I'm trying to figure out which way to go and I'll return the other system.  The Mash & Boil seems to be pretty well received despite some idiosyncrasies, but do any of y'all have experience with these kind of things?  It kind of weirded me out thinking about brewing inside and not on a propane burner, since I kind of figured that's the way I'd always be doing it.

I also wanted to ask about wort chilling.  So far, I'd been just using an ice water bath, but that obviously won't work for either full-volume boils or the electric system.  I'd read that it's ideal to chill to just under planned fermentation temp, but I don't see that happening with a tap water immersion chiller in the summer.  How low do y'all find you can get with an immersion chiller, and do you do anything else to drop the temp before pitching?  Or is that not as big a deal as I'm thinking?  I'm just trying to figure out the best way to do this, as I don't have a garden hose attachment on my sink, so I'm going to have to get a little creative one way or another.

    Thanks!

    Again. Best yards/attempt bro.

becoming the weekly Troy patting his own back show.  At least he had the disclaimer that he was in fact, not patting his own back.

also, loved how he called out Bob for his Patriots being gifted the Super Bowl every year because their division sucks take.

  7. everyone posting music vids of bands other than Great White are missing the boat.

I guess the gov started the pipeline flowing again.  I they had shut it down because it was getting robbed all the time.  The gov was trucking in gas to the supply depots and it was causing huge delays in getting gas to the stations.  causing people to line up and wait for hours to get a fill up.  If you put on your tin foil hat, it would not be stretch to believe the gov dropped a match to curb the practice.

My wife, who is generally pretty smart, apparently thought it worked like TV shows.  She went outside at 8:30.  Came in and said "nothing's happening yet!".  I said that's because it doesn't start until just past 9:30.  Her:   "But it said 9:30 Eastern Time, that's 8:30 our time!!!"

should have told her it's due to moonlight savings time.

My wife buys a case of bottled water every week.  We have a fridge with a water filter.

mine gets fiji water and then lets our 10 yo drink it too.  even the whole long story about how future humans are going to look back and jagsfan.gif on our generation for shipping water 6500 miles to be consumed elsewhere for $9-$10 a gallon did nothing to deter this.

  10. yes, that video crossed my mind earlier.

also, there was something on the radio.  can't remember what podcast, but it talked about people waking up from anesthesiology during surgery and not being able to move a single muscle but aware of everything around them.  Completely helpless and not able to communicate.  interesting stuff about how we still really don't know exactly how that stuff works in our brains to produce the results it does nor why some people can regain consciousness from it unexpectedly.

  11. just recently I got xp installed and running on a 1TB drive.  I am pretty sure it was the 64 bit version.  I did not try any games or other software as I was just screwing around after my boot drive failed on an W8 system, but it booted up OK and was able to see drives and stuff in the win explorer.
