These spartan things are just salt, yeast, sugar, and water. So it should be a pretty easy DIY if you can figure out a good yeast strain. Maybe some home brewers can help us out.

I guess it produces CO2 from the yeast eating the suger water and that is what mimics humans to attract them.  Not sure how they keep the process going for 90 days as the high temps should make the yeast hyper active and go through all the sugar in less than a week.  Belgian yeast strains can take high temps, but have never really looked at it from a purely survive-ability point of view.

Never owned one, but the traps that use propane to produce CO2 operate in a similar manner, i guess.  This is just a cheaper looking way of producing CO2.

  2. Mine has been littered with "Someone was walking around the 'hood going door to door.  I was too chickenshit to answer my door and see WTF they wanted.  Can someone else tell me what they wanted/were selling?"

But the child's mother has disputed Rotondo's assertion that he was barred from seeing his son. She spoke exclusively to DailyMail.com earlier this week on condition of anonymity.

The woman who works in the beauty business claimed that Rotondo had been granted visitation provided it was supervised by a medical professional but that he never exercised that right.

In a revelation that put cast a troubling light on the extraordinarily public family spat, the mother of his son said that she had discovered her ex had a history of mental problems during the protracted custody battle.

Rotondo admitted to DailyMail.com that he had struggled with mental health issues in the past.

He was diagnosed as paranoid schizophrenic - a diagnosis he rejects and insists has been brought up purely to victimize him as he fights for his son.

This dude has procreated and has an 8yo.  what a badass role model

  4. yeah, we used the wristbands for my son's 8-9 yo team.  they allowed a coach in the huddle, but once the ball was snapped it was a penalty for the huddle coach to say anything.

Having the plays on paper (that matched the wristband plays) and  going over called play in the huddle worked well.  I can't seem to upload a damn image, but we went by color coded dots.  7 different colored dots (1 for each player).  Made things easier when swapping out positions because you just told them what color/position they were and they could focus on that.  By the end of the season I could call a play name and they could figure it out from the wrist bands if we were trying to run plays quickly.

The biggest 'killer' plays were the quick hand off leading to a run pass option.  The QB was not allowed to rush past the LOS so handing off, sucking up the defense and then throwing worked very well.

  5. i shit you not, I heard the score on the radio driving home and started pondering the 4 run lead and had this conversation with myself.

Hmmm 4-run lead.  still one swing of the bat could tie it.  I wonder if there is some stat site that has the % of 4 run games tied on a GS.

Fast forward to late night and I turn it on and see score tied and then go back and figure out WTF happened.  Need to ponder my odds of winning the lottery.

  6. needs a pic of stump before and NEVER FORGET tag.

biggest craze in ours is a fucked up looking dude stealing peoples outdoor cameras/Ring setups.  lots of great photos of the guy, but he obviously DGAF.
