WTH? Multiply the two nos and add the first. No way that is what you wrote is it?math talk not going away. since the 2nd number is always the 1st number (n) plus 3, you can write it:
(n*(n+3))+n --> n^2 +4n
n^2 +4n (for n= 1,2,3...)
n=1 --> 1*1 + 4*1 = 5
n=2 --> 2*2 + 4*2 = 12
n=3 --> 3*3 + 4*3 = 21

Chicken on the Run (Brownwood)
used to live next to the owners. Loved their fried fish and the greasy puff rolls. I think they said it that it was just 1/2 a hungry jack biscuit thrown in the fryer.
Are there any Jim's left in SA?
Furrs is also a dying breed.

why is there a statute of limitations on child rape? Seems like they should want to punish those DOBs no matter when it happened. Dozens if not hundreds of documented priests classified as super sexual predators and then higher ups engaged in doing everything they can to cover it up. Everyone involved should get their day in court.

we really need an MS Paint recreation to be of any help. The more drawn dicks the better.

why does NIKE call that color 'Desert Orange'?
https://www.nike.com/t/free-tr8-texas-mens-training-shoe-w1DRJl
I feel like the technology is there to make every fucking product the same color, burnt orange, and to call it the same thing, burnt orange. maybe they are saving all that for the capes, who knows...

does WileyH still post anything insightful anywhere? Seems like he just retweets a bunch of stuff now and not really comment.

so what pair that with a Chianti ?

obviously you have never met deputy the Marijuana Residue fairy. goes around sprinkling crime scenes with justice powder.
I mean fuck, they technically busted a law breaker and put a microscopic dent in the drug trade. You can't blame them because MJ is not legal cash crop. But not mentioned are the other 95% that get pulled over for 'looking like a drug mule' and the cops sniffing for civil forfeiture.

Caraway always struck me as shifty, so I'm not terribly surprised that they finally got him. What amazes me is how brazen he was.
He may have mistakenly thought "well, I'm not as brazen as JWP, and they did not do shit to him, so I'm good"

Sure they were money mules, but this seems like it should be more a story about the cops trolling for civil forfeiture victims. Cops had to have profiled a brown person and used the old 'changed lanes without a signal' to pull him over and start grilling him.
QuoteThe deputy told Cortez he would only receive a warning for the traffic offense. But when Cortez and the deputy struck up a conversation
that quote has to be in a handbook they give to cops as to what to say when they keep interrogating someone after a traffic stop. I am sure Cortez really wanted to shoot the shit with Johnny Law with 50K in the dashboard.

I think you have to show rocco your paystub first and THEN pm Derka for it to go through.

what even happened to buying a 1/2 ton bag of Ol' Roy and feeding the dog that? Are dogs now living 3x as long as before thanks to all the farm-to-bowl chef prepared meals?

I just can't imagine a situation of being suspicious that someone of any color "doesn't belong" to where it even makes sense to ask informally "hey, who are you, why are you here?" Maybe an obvious homeless person or someone showing signs of substance abuse. If it's just a person of color, what makes one think "they don't look like they belong?" Is it really that hard to believe that black people go to college or live in gated communities?
agree. either they personally could not fathom why she would be there and felt the need to escalate the situation or someone went to them and demanded they find out why a black person was in the cafeteria. Then instead of being overtly racist themselves, they called the police.

so is the Starwood amex now shittier? Got some email saying the points were getting multiplied x3 and there are now different point payout categories. x2 for and x4 for that.
-
I wonder if keeping a copy of Financial Times at the ready would help in these situations?
Again, the squeamish Smith college employee called the cops because they did not want to interact with a black person who may or may not be out of place. If it was deemed important to find out, a 15 second conversation could have taken place and solved the issue. I'm guessing because the employee did not want to 'be that guy/gal' and look all racist asking a black person if they belonged there so they called the police to do something they were too chickenshit to do.

the way the council (minus the 2 dissenters) glossed over the yearly maintenance bill for the arches is astounding. $400,000 a year to maintain.
Jordan was an environmental engineer and not capable of making these calls for using cheaper material and changing the connections from welds to bolts. I wonder who gave her the assurance that it would probably be fine to cut these corners and then have the balls to say it could be done without stress testing?

do some people really just consider the police dept their personal butlers/fixers/ask jeeves?
QuotePeterson ordered a Spicy Italian Sub at a Subway store in Jacksonville, Fla., last week. He ordered it with “the works.” To his mind, it didn’t come with the works. “He tasted his sandwich, and it didn’t have mayonnaise or mustard on it, so he became upset,” said Tammy Morris, a manager at the store. Witnesses inside the store said Peterson started screaming. Then he went outside to call 911, asking for help in having his sandwich made to his satisfaction. A short time later, he called again to complain that police still hadn’t shown up. So they did, and they arrested Peterson on charges of making false 911 calls.
“It’s unbelievable what people get upset about now days,” Morris said.
Or like Kevin Waits. Waits called a cab to his home in Waco, Texas. When it didn’t show up, he called 911. The dispatcher told him to call a taxi service. Waco police Officer Steve Anderson said Waits grew more and more frustrated as he couldn’t get a cab. So he called 911 again. And again. Eventually, he called 15 times. When police finally went to his apartment, they found a cab waiting for Waits — who didn’t have the $26 fare. Waits was charged with harassment and theft of service.
Or like the unidentified 19-year-old man who called 911 in Knoxville because his stepfather wouldn’t stop nagging him to do the laundry or wash the dishes.
The racist examples in this thread are a lot of white people not wanting to interact with a person of color to hash out mostly simple things so they call the police to do their bidding for them. Need to institute a type of Thunderdome 911 call policy. 2 parties in a dispute --> 911 called --> 1 party is always going to jail with automatic ride down town if complaint is deemed false/frivolous.
There needs to be more education about using the Nextdoor ap. This way people can still go be all racist and still not mind their own bidness, but not tie up police resources.
