  1. He meant Cole Brevard, but butchered it.
  2. Intended or not, ISWYDT.
  3. Right??? Knowing Beard's personality, he'll want to beat Texas by as many points as possible and make us rue the day we fired him.
  4. For sure, I'm curious what it was going into Beard's second season (obviously Texas wasn't in the SEC then, but just number wise) and what it would be like with legitimate excitement around the program again.

  6. Lol, 9.95er shots fired. Talk shit, get hit, 247 crew.
  7. I provided the source fewer than 10 posts up from Horns247...
  8. See the above post and Q&A responses from some over at 247 + Ojo's comment about being "the priority." Again, no one knows if this is just stupid 9.95er projection or if it's based on anything substantial from the Texas staff. History would say it's most likely the former. Plus, for all we know, Ojo was told that about RT, of the OL recruits in attendance, or in some other form.
  9. Welp, maybe they really are fucking Turntine’s recruitment up.
  10. Should we really gather that Turntine is being recruited as a guard and isn’t the top priority over Ojo because of “big humans,” or is this just more 9.95er overthinking?
  11. I did. I obviously did not peruse far enough to catch this the first time:
  12. I’m assuming this is Nick’s little (yet bigger physically) brother?
  13. Yeah, about that... Turntine might want a word. Naturally, I'd love both.
  14. That's just the plan to get him legitimate earned income so he can open up a Roth IRA at a super young age. Good thinking, Derka.
  15. He basically has in every instance (except RT) when hiring coaches. I don't have to guess. He absolutely will go big game hunting. That said, big game probably refers to "notable name" in this search. As has been said, we likely won't hire an older "big game" name. Lastly, sign me the fuck up for Lloyd. That would be an amazing hire.
  16. Worked out for Saban
  17. A very experienced IOL. I'd think so.
  18. What does this mean other than Texas hiring Royal Ivey? Or, does "one of their guys" just mean the collective group needs to sign off on the hire?
  19. Tucker only spends his disposable income on shoes. Dude is nuts for shoes...
  20. Vandy isn't why they didn't get in. It was their absolutely horrendous late-season disappearance act in Norman that kept them out. Edit: Nvm, I see that was covered by @Vic Mackey.
  21. We don't need to rehash this, but I vehemently disagree. If Texas hired any coach with a decent college basketball performance pedigree, it could have made sense when compared to RT's head coaching history. This is a guy whose résumé would have never been considered for the role under normal circumstances. CDC pigeonholed himself. Shit, Texas didn't give him a contract that spoke confidence around his hiring, either. Anyways, it would be great for the season to turnaround. But, I have zero hope that it actually will. When Texas misses the tournament, I hope it's enough of a negative trajectory for CDC to hit the eject button on this era of Texas Basketball.
  22. Yep. I've been a huge Texas Basketball fan since I was a little kid. Right now, I can't even stomach to watch much. It's obvious RT ain't it.
  23. You’re not wrong. I am gay for Texas Baseball.
