  2. You might try to find one that is willing to do a free consultation to see if they can help you. It made a huge difference for me and I was able to get help without feeling trapped by one therapist. It's important that you connect with the person. Do not feel bad and do not waste your time if you don't feel you are getting help. It took me several tries to find the right person and that took years because I thought it was me.
  3. Thank you for this. I took it to Strait and had a much better experience. It's going to take 5 weeks, but they let me leave the guitar with them and were very friendly.
  4. Anyone have a rec for a set up in Austin? I went to Austin Vintage Guitars and they were pretty snobby. They scoffed at me because I didn’t have an appt. A bit of a turn off.
  5. I love 11.22.63. I couldn’t put it down. I’ll have to read IT.
  6. Has anyone discussed a knife and a dishwasher safe cutting board yet?
  7. I thought they only used the calk gun for sour cream?

  9. Another tip, and I will stop breaking your salad balls. This is fairly easy and will save you some money. Get a couple of these and they work well in the dishwasher. They will work on top of your kitchen block. https://www.amazon.com/Epicurean-Kitchen-Cutting-Board-Nutmeg/dp/B003IP2PXE/ref=asc_df_B003IP2PXE/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=198060092138&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=4982911277799924303&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9028274&hvtargid=pla-348414541613&th=1 You'll need a sharp knife and one that will stay sharp with regular honing. There's another thread, but I'm happy to recommend something if you need it.
  10. Do they have these where you live? https://www.heb.com/product-detail/taylor-farms-steakhouse-wedge-chopped-salad-kit-12-87-oz/4868023
  11. Holy shit. You jack that thing off rather than just using a knife and a board? Okay.
  12. I've heard that before. Just being an ass. That guitar is really beautiful. You will enjoy the hell out of it.
  13. Are you a little person? What's the deal with your putter. Oh, I I love that guitar. I've wanted a J-45 for a long time.
  14. This.
  15. I should add that my previous set was something my Dad received as an incentive to visit a time share in the early 90's. I played HS golf with them and was competitive. I started ordering red dot ladies clubs from Ebay trying to cobble something together during COVID. I just wanted to hit and not think. Got fitted for a driver and quickly found out that I could hit with some accuracy off of the tee box, but distance was lacking. Looked into fairway woods and hybrids. The G15 SW is serviceable so far, but I've only played 2 rounds of 9 holes and 1 of 18 with the G15's.
  16. Ping G15's. Mixed bag.
  17. Thanks! Yes, I'm in the Austin area.
  18. I’m starting back up after a long absence and I need some help. Female golfer and I’m short. I was fitted for a driver and he shortened the new club, but I don’t know by how much. I plan to get fitted for a hybrid, but rather than replacing my irons I would prefer to have the club lengths adjusted because I suspect that is causing my shitty playing (club hitting the dirt before the ball, mis-hits, etc). I know I’m also waaay out of practice but it doesn’t do any good to practice with clubs that don’t fit or buy brand news ones and waste $$ on something I may not be happy with after improving with some lessons. So, should I just figure out the driver shaft length and have the irons “fitted” by the same cut down from standard length? Sorry for the noob questions.
  19. It looks good to me, but could be considered slightly over to some. Future man is a fan of mayo and raw steak.
  20. I don't understand the point you are trying to make. Was your CDC remark sarcasm?
