  1. Well, to be fair, an egg is more like a chicken period than a fertilized abortion. Carry on.
  2. Teams is really good for meetings. You can mute participants. I don't think Meet let you do that. Assholes that haven't figured out that they are/are not on mute suck. I forgive an occasional slip-up, but when I see "I don't know how to mute myself" join a meeting I mute that bitch pronto. Fells good.
  3. Yes, I think that is the best way to look at it.
  4. I've used both and prefer Google. You can kind-of work with shared documents in Teams, but it's not as well organized as Google Drive. Gmail is easier than Outlook. If you use Sharepoint, it is not as seamless as Google Drive. Microsoft goes out of their way to avoid simplification, in my opinion.
  5. 20 years ago, I easily wired some Klipsch outdoor speakers to my then patio and drove them with an Onkyo amp fairly seamlessly. B channel. Someone could watch TV while I listened to music outside. I had a line running to the amp from my desktop so that I could "stream" my playlists. It was great! I have a Marantz slim receiver now and the wiring from my living room to the outside patio would be a nightmare. I'm thinking about buying an amp specifically for outdoor use and housing it in a room closer to the patio in order to run the wires. We use Spotify and Amazon, but I have also ripped my old CD collection and would like to be able to stream from that as well. Any suggestions? I need tips on the speakers, wire, amps, and installation. I don't want to drill holes and I think I can run the wires through the sliding patio door grooves. Edit to add: I'd like to keep this around $1000.

    This is an odd response.
  7. No Del Friscos fans in here? https://www.delfriscos.com/location/del-friscos-double-eagle-steakhouse-fort-worth-tx/
  8. DT posters on the Wimberley Nextdoor page: "You all should buy Faucian Bargain by Steve Deace of the Blaze.......he exposes the hypocrisy of Fauci from the get go......when I was growing up in the 50s and one of my siblings came home sick.....my mother stuck us all in the same bedroom to make sure we all got it and got over it quickly........I'm talking Mumps......Whooping cough etc......today we act like we are going to die if some one sneezes on us.........which is exactly what people have been doing for years.......til Fauci decided that he was some God like person and only he knows how to help!!!! I trust my mother long before I would ever trust a Dr today!!!! I believe China virus is just like a flu.......some people will die and some won't.......but, I am shocked when I look around at all the SHEEPLE that have developed over the years........we didn't make it through Polio and all the flus within the last 70 years by being arfraid to breath!!!!! And I am sooooo proud that our Parents made it through the Great Depression and WWI and WWII........and I am sure they are rolling over in their graves at the site of what has happened to ADULTS in America today........we have become so soft and spoiled that if China comes knocking on our DOOR next year saying that they are taking over.........YOU ALL WILL RUN and HIDE and become their little bitch robots like the Chinese people are today........"
  9. In the groove.
  10. I have such mixed feelings about this. I love that they said something. I hate the fact that they needed to. I hate that it won’t matter.
  11. Well, just imagine if it was as crazy as the actual time period. I thought it was intense, too, but you didn't see any naked dongs from what I recall.
  12. I just finished Halston. Very well acted and produced.
  13. Wise decision. It was some sort of attempt to insult Pelosi, Megan McCain, and someone else in a feeble Jeff Foxworthy "You might be a Democrat if" verbal diarrhea.
  14. It's about attention. https://austin.eater.com/2017/9/18/16329152/baguette-et-chocolat-open-carry-gun-law "Farago wrote about the experience, which led to a flood of negative one-star Facebook and Yelp reviews on Baguette’s pages from gun rights activists. One Yelper wrote that “the owners feel the need to try and restrict our rights and liberty as Americans,” and someone on Facebook commented, “I'm sure their food is excellent but their stance on guns is dangerous. No thanks.”
  15. Looks incredible. This would be a nice change of pace for our house. I'm on my way to HEB.
  16. Fuck responding to a troll.
  17. You won’t find me on a firearms board.
  18. I have an MPH and work in Public Health, too. My husband could have written the same thing. There were so many frustrating episodes during this horrible ordeal. The Karens. Shitting on Dr. Fauci. Disrespect for Public Health guidelines. Armchair Epidemiologists. The politics of a virus. It's a virus. It doesn't have feelings. It isn't an R or a D. It isn't Transgender and it doesn't want to use your bathroom. It's a fucking virus. I haven't commented much or given my background on this board because of the shit I saw posted. I applaud those of you that can argue with brick walls. I don't have the tolerance for people who don't understand the scientific method. It is a very basic principle and very easy to understand. Anyway, the vaccine is here. It is an amazing achievement, but it is not a miracle. It's science. You know, the science that a certain segment of society was hell bent on shitting on for the past year because they couldn't get their doughnut fix without a mask. Muh Rights. Rant over.
  19. Beautiful tribute to your Mom. I have gotten to know you and your family over the years on these boards. I have always admired your perspective, thoughtful words, faith, and family commitment. I am so sorry for your loss.
  20. Based on this thread, I ordered both books and received them yesterday. I'm halfway through Flower Moon and I can't put it down. The backstory is great, but a tad slow. When the FBI stuff gets going it's incredible. I hope to finish it tomorrow. Thanks you all for the rec on this book.
  21. Her garlic. I can peel it. I pay people to peel it for me.
