  1. Curious what Durant signs for. If he agreed to take a cut then y'all are in business to an even greater degree. When is Amen's first big # season? '27 or '28?
  2. Did De'Aron Fox die? We would have won more than 34 games last season if Wemby didn't get shut down. And then we shut Fox down. Castle will be better and may even take a leap. Sochan will be better. You would think Wemby will continue to get better. I don't know what we get from Harper but he will be on the team. We shouldn't really need anything from DV and Keldon that they didn't give us last season. If our season is going to hinge on either of those guy's "development" then just shoot me in the head now. It's time to win games and make the playoffs. I get the West is deep but if we can't be better than all of these teams with 65+ games of Fox and Wemby then, yes, this season will be a failure. And that's assuming the other 7 teams all make the playoffs and I wouldn't exactly throw a ton of money on teams like the Clippers and Warriors to stay out of the play-in.
  3. I mean this is his 5th team. I have to think it will be his last.
  4. I think they would have beat LA. GS with Curry was a pretty good team and what Houston did to them over 7 games cost them the Minny series. Those guys were physically wiped after that. It may depend on the next jump Amen makes but Durant is so much better than Green for what they need. Playing Whitmore over Brooks shouldn't be much of a drop-off, either - or maybe they get some Sheppard minutes now. I mean Houston is fucking loaded and if KD can stay healthy this immediately solves their biggest issue.
  5. If we can't make the playoffs as currently constructed barring major injury issues that's a huge fucking failure.
  6. It's really just the 10th pick in the draft that they gave up. Jalen Green is owed $105M over the next 3 seasons. That is a bad contract that Houston did well to get out from under. Brooks is owed $40M over the next 2. He wasn't awful for them but Durant will easily outdo their combined production assuming they get 65+ games out of him and have him healthy for the playoffs. The 2nd round picks are basically worthless. It's a very good roll of the dice for the Rockets. Especially if they can resign Durant for something reasonable for a couple of seasons.
  7. Yeah I'm sure money raised to fight cyberbullying will be spent effectively.
  8. Fleetwood gonna pop his cherry finally?
  9. Rory rolling it well early.
  10. Lol they might get 9.5 before it's over. These games are pretty much inevitable in this league. Game 5 winner of a 2-2 series, goes on the road and lays an egg in a blowout loss. Goes back home and blows the other team out. Game 7 won't make Indiana be something they aren't. Down to 7.5.
  11. This just came up randomly on my YT music. Holy shit this is a good song.
  12. I knew they were kind of gay but... wow.
  13. Curious to see the response from these bodies - but I also need to know what Ja Rule has to say about this.

I've always found it strange. America is the opposite. We don't always pronounce shit correctly but we at least ask how to pronounce stuff and correct each other when it's wrong.

  18. Damn this really is a good leaderboard.
  19. Counterpoint: Indiana didn't need ref help tonight and they didn't get it. They straight up whipped OKC's ass. And despite whatever "extending" you believe in Indiana has no one to blame but themselves for losing G4. The NBA may put their finger on the scale - but at the end of the day you have to play basketball. That's how it's always been. There's a reason San Antonio has 5 titles - because if you're good enough the league can't really do anything about it. Also - Indy has been in every game this series. OKC beat Denver by 43 in G2. Where is that result so far? Tonight was the biggest ass-beating of the series. Indiana is a better team than the Nuggets or the Timberwolves and if they lose G7 it will be because OKC is better - not because the NBA wants to gift OKC the trophy. --- On another note - I will agree that they are very obviously, forcefully, trying to push SGA as some next-gen superstar and it's one of the most hilariously tonedeaf things I've seen. I think you could replace him with like 10 guys from the past 20 years and OKC would be just as good. He's obviously a phenomenal player but he isn't cool, he doesn't have any personality, and he plays like a fucking bitch. At least Harden was like - fucking strippers and not giving a shit and growing his beard out. I don't understand why they want this guy to be the next face of the league. Hopefully he and OKC faceplant on Sunday but I'm not counting on it.
  20. That's too many. We'll see what it closes at.
  21. He got ejected.
  22. James Johnson in the Finals in 2025. No way.
