  1. I think he'll pick that 3rd year up. - Russillo
  2. If we take Coward we need to get rid of some wings/guards. With our current roster I'd prefer a project 4 or 5 with some upside.
  3. I think I like Jaylin Williams. They should play him more.
  4. That's honestly not bad. That's a full MLS stadium.
  5. Is that pre-drag Ru Paul?
  6. My grandma passed away a few weeks ago and my mom dug up some CDs and had me make a playlist for the funeral reception. It really wasn't a terrible collection. She was born in '46. Granted I'm sure there were plenty of awful records and cassettes lost over the years.
  7. So unlike Brisket's parents your dad owned some good records.
  8. There isn't always context in here so I had to see what was happening.
  9. Finding rotational guys in the 2nd round is a crapshoot especially if they are wanting the guy to play anytime soon. Most 2nd round picks never contribute in the NBA.
  10. Maybe KO but McCollum's contract is fucking bad. He doesn't rebound or dime or play defense and doesn't even get his points very efficiently. With the 2nd apron I can't imagine taking that $33M on if I'm serious about winning. Maybe next year when he's an expiring if you want a vet to bring off the bench and get you 12-15 ppg. Scratch that - he is an expiring. I was looking at the years wrong. Maybe someone takes a flier on him at the deadline then. Not sure he's worth a 1st rounder though.
  11. There's no fucking way he falls to 7.
  12. I don't know how many voters it applies to but people are weird and vote based on stupid shit.
  13. I don't think that's remotely true. Gen Z is drinking a lot less than everyone else did, for starters. Sure, and THC manufacturers probably scraped some cash together to fight back.
  14. Surely it's a voter-base play from Abbott - maybe a lobbying cash-infusion on top of that. I wouldn't think this by itself would be enough to get a dem elected but a lot of conservatives (or anyone that would vote for Abbott) under 30 or 35 or whatever the number is probably aren't down with that proposed ban.
  15. I don't think it's a failure if he doesn’t win a title there. You'd like to see him raise Houston's playoff ceiling and make those young guys better. A Finals trip would be a huge success. Durant is going to be 37 this season. Everything is pretty much house-money for him at this point and just moving further up lists that he's already very high on. Unless it turns into a disaster in Houston but barring major injuries it won't. They are too good and too well ran.
  16. I don't even know who the fuck you two are. You never post in here. It was Tyrese's decision to make and he made it and it isn't our business to question it. That doesn't make it right or wrong or good or bad. The point is that I respect the fuck out of what that dude just did for six weeks. I get a little carried away and romantic sometimes. Especially when it comes to the NBA. Maybe don't take all of it so literally.
  17. Look - man - some of us care a lot about this shit. Even when it isn't one of our teams playing. That game was a really big fucking deal. And your postgame diatribe was kind of shitty and insincere and dismissive. I just watched Haliburton pour his fucking guts out for four rounds in the playoffs like I've maybe never seen anyone else do in my life. That dude has more heart and talent and drive than any of us could ever dream of. He knew what the risk was. He knew what could happen. And he went out there anyway two games in a row. So when you say some shit immediately after like "if I have a calf strain I'm letting it heal" it comes across as pretty fucking insensitive. That dude just had his heart ripped out on the biggest possible stage in basketball. To insinuate that he fucked up or made the wrong decision to go out there and play irritates me. If I ever have a son I hope he's a fifth of the man that Tyrese Haliburton is. Short of volunteering to go to war that shit that he did is about as big as it gets.
  18. Yeah - kind of the same point being made here.
  19. Yeah well - it wasn't you - because you aren't a professional athlete and you've never been a game away from an NBA championship. The way that Durant and Haliburton went out in those Finals is as noble and selfless as it comes - but then you get hindsight 20/20 dickheads like yourself that come in and think you're making some revelatory point about how they should have known better or not have played.
  20. People keep parroting this but I don't really follow. His team is fucking dogshit. Between Cleveland, Orlando and Detroit someone will probably be better than MIL and if they aren't then whoever makes the Finals is going to get ass raped.
  21. Man. This shit just hit me pretty hard. What a fucking gamer. What a run. What a playoffs. Not a storybook ending but it almost never is in this league. No one alive that got to see any of it will ever forget this Pacers team. Fuck, man. They should have done it.
  22. And it gave us this.
  23. I was a diehard OKC fan for 6 years. You aren't evil - this current team just isn't likeable. Durant and Westbrook were both so much cooler than SGA. You are what Miami was from 2011-2014. There's nothing wrong with that - just be prepared for a ton of hate. You'll also get plenty of bandwagon fans (mostly youths without proper father figures I'm guessing) attracted to SGA and crew's style of play. And yes I'm taking the piss a bit with that last one. Don't get too drunk 😉
