  1. Good defense there at the goal line. Citadel is not being intimidated. And yes that Triple Option can be a equalizer for teams that don’t have the physical talent. I’ve seen high school teams who should of been stomped, keep it close or win a few against much more superior teams. I don’t know why more teams don’t have it in their playbooks.

Watching a bit of tonight’s ESPN College Football Countdown, and Joey Galloway had plenty to say about ISU, nada about us. Sounds like we have no chance.

I saw the same thing.  You would have thought Brock Purdy was going to win the Heisman  and was on Mel Kiper's top five NFL draft picks list with all the slobbering Galloway did during the segment.  Not a fricken word about Sam, LJ, etc.    Hell other than the Longhorn logo being shown at the opening of the segment, you wouldn't have even known ISU was playing Texas.

This is such a joke. TxSt and UTSA are utter, complete dogshit right now. I just looked at each of their schedules so far and my God they are bad. Lamar is probably the best team of those three and they are in the fucking FCS.

UTSA seemed like they were on the upward track, but went to crap this year.  They actually gave Aggy hell a couple of years ago.  If they would of lost, they might of cut Sumlin lose a season earlier.

Texas State has sucked since the mid 80's when they left D2 and Lone Star Conference, save for a season or two here and there.

Lamar?  They just brought football back a few years ago.  Oh and Yea, FCS and bottom feeder in the Southland.

But yea, based on this year's work, Lamar might be the better of the three cupcakes.

  4. Proves the point.

    Our defense is shit.

Thank god our offense is doing it's job our we would be 0-10 right now.

I always been of the way of thinking that if your D is good and you feel confident  your  D can make a stop on the first drive, go ahead and defer to the second half.   A good D can set the tone for the entire game by  making the first series  a three and out and get the crowd into it.  But when you are shit on D, it becomes a who gives a F--- moment.  Getting the ball first and chewing some clock and scoring something might be the desired path?

  5. I would so much love to see the meltdown on TexAgs and among my Aggy friends on other sites if they lose or have a close game against UAB next week in the annual SEC pad our schedules and our poll slots  week before Thanksgiving.

The SEC crooked Refs will bail them out... I think?

The fourth quarters against OU, WV and TT were a joke.  I suppose I could believe the argument that our depth and injuries caused these collapses.  Or maybe not.  I don't see how it is not coaching.

But how much is that on Herman and the offensive staff (Beck) for not utilizing the same offensive game plan they used in the first three quarters in the forth?  We would of not made that game last night close in the 4th qtr and probably would of beaten WVU and not had to rely on Dicker the Kicker against OU Sucks had we played some simple ball control and ran the damn thing.  Last night, we had a 3rd  and short and we try a short pass and Sam overthrew it.  Why do that shit when we are moving the ball on the ground five, six, even seven yards a carry.  Same crap against WVU last week.  We were running the ball at will against them and instead of trying to chew more clock, we do stupid things that stoped the clock.

This is no way an excuse for how piss poor our D has been the last few weeks, injuries not withstanding.  But on the bright side, no one in our conference can play D either.  We all look like Cougar High teams from the Jack Pardee era or Tech teams from the Leach era.  Defenses be damned, so we are fortuante in that regard.... I guess?????
