Oh man, it's the Pinto and not even close.
We took long road trips (also known as 'vacations') when I was a kid. The back seat had two comfortable seats and a fucking hump between. Two older brothers got the seats, I got the hump. Whenever we went over a bump it launched my head into the roof. Good times.

The guy fucked over ou and took their best talent with him. I’m not rooting for him but he may have helped us in the short term and the long run.
Most definitely. I was happy when this went down, but I've been having a hard time seeing them other than OU West when I watch their games. Weird phenomena.

Yes. Was that not clear?

I concur. However -
I had to watch the AL/AUB game with some family friends that are Bama fans, son graduated there, etc. They spent an inordinate amount of time using an abacus to figure out just the right iteration to get them squeaked into the CFP. I told them they were fucking high, just enjoy the win. They chuckled and went right back to their ought and noughts, jumping in their cement pond. The thing that irritated my inebriated mind was how they talked as if THEY FUCKING DESERVED TO BE IN.
I assume that's the case with most Bama fans, because ... because I want to and I'm sick of fucking Bama fans.
Therefore, I will be holding my nose and allow myself to pull for the fuckstick twins, Riley and Caleb.

I’ve been hot and cold on this show. It was so confusing early on I’d punt and move on to something else. Just finished 4-7 and holy shit, an onion has been peeled. Really great show.
Inspector is a great actress; surprisingly she’s American. Cherise good as well but her character comes across as a little too villainous IMO. No need to play the 007 angle.

A dumbass buddy of mine got into a fight in the parking lot of the place I worked at in high school, threw some guy up against my car, and broke my antenna. Was kind enough to bring the broken antenna inside and leave it with me before he bailed.
This conjured up an old memory. Playing street football as a kid in El Paso, when my older brother dove for a pass over the hood of my mom’s Cutlass. Snapped the antenna right off. A collective Oh Shit was whispered by all. I asked him what he’d do.
”Let me think about it and keep your mouth shut.”
We had to go to Gibsons or TG&Y or some shitty store later in the day. Coming back into the parking lot he said “Mom, look someone broke off your antenna!” She bought it.

Damn it Colt, making me pull for the Cardinals. What is this strange world I’m living in.

Arch will get here and suck
Dude, you are the most negative poster I’ve seen on here. The sun also rises.

Fair enough.
What I saw was what you said plus a lot of stack the box pressure.I suspect Sark was reticent throwing Card - a skittish QB under pressure- into that cold.
It’s fucking depressing either way, but I get it.

I’m stupidly entering into an emotional thread but: I think NOT putting Card in was the right call.
Frogs were teeing off. Card has shown little ability to handle that kind of pressure. Sending him in cold without a solid running game would be a disaster.
Meaning worse than what we saw.

This gruntles me. Caruso sucks bigly.
As an LA resident, why is that? I disliked him initially, 15 years ago, as he came across as an entitled developer (looks over shoulder, ducks). But with MAGA, COVID and the homeless explosion I think he’s settled into a more middle of the road, get shit done politician. Could be bullshit but as a resident, and a hardcore Democrat, I’d prefer to see what an outsider can do rather than the entrenched D local politicians that just kick the ball back and forth.

I have close family with connections with SC. Because of that I’ve kind of pulled for them, especially since they’ve sucked recently.
Watching this game, seeing Riley, seeing Caleb, I find myself rooting for CO hardcore. I’ve come to the conclusion SC is dead to me, fuck my relatives.

Seriously, this guy could not be more hated even by his friends. It's kinda sad almost.
Are you fucking kidding me. It’s deserved. Let’s see what else can I come up with … glorious? If there is anything below a shitstain, that’s Rafael.
I just cannot fathom someone like him, castrating himself to the worst aspects of humanity. May he wallow in misery the rest of his no having friends life.

Rent a car and take the I10 west about 100 miles.
This is true. I own some rental properties around UofA and fly into Phoenix and drive down whenever necessary.
That said: Old Tucson is closed. Pima Air museum is a must. Mt Lemon highway is an anxiety inducing trip, but with some interesting hiking options if you’re adventurous. Other than that fire up the Wi-Fi for your teens to stream their favorite shows.

Why so serious?
Good question. I think the bourbon I was drinking summoned some old teenage football player hormones.
Sorry fellas, no harm no foul, moving on.

Sorry my tongue-in-cheek story offended you, Hudson. We all appreciate your service and the masterful way you bounced it off the WVU DB to Xavier. Now please hand over the game ball to Quinn.
Taking the easy way out. Your tongue in cheek story was dumb and inaccurate.
But I think we can agree Card has pros and cons. I lean toward pros based on his performance. You seem to lean toward cons. All good, but your stupid water polo analogy remains stupid.

This reminds me of high school gym class, where we played water polo and I didn't have my glasses, so I couldn't see anything. I somehow ended up being goalie, so most of the time, I just chucked it to the other side and hoped it went to a teammate (which wasn't easy to figure out anyway, as no one had swimcaps, so they all were just random heads sticking out of the water). At some point, people probably suspected I couldn't see shit but no one else wanted to play goalie. I imagine this is how Card feels, when he chucks it deep into triple coverage, and hopes it's somewhere close to our player.
This reminds me of my experience playing high school football. There was always some dude that ran track, or played fucking water polo, that would criticize the results, without ever playing the game. They would give fucking stupid analogies like: that dude must have forgotten his favorite socks or swim tights or his goggles. And that's why a football player failed to perform in the way they perceive football to be played.
It's a different game, with lots of intangibles.

I can’t do these two dipshits again.
MUTE engaged.
-
I’m puzzled by the UW offense. UCLA Dline appears undersized, so first drive Udab blew them off the ball and ran it down for a touchdown. Now getting cute on offense and letting lighter/faster guys tee off?
-
Charbonett is a stud. Surprised it took so long to get him engaged.

Terrible call WTF

Hey man, we tolerate other fans coming in and firing off. It’s one of the best things about the site. But you need to be knowledgeable or funny or … just not what you’re doing.
We have time: work on it.
