Star Wars theory hating on the show means this is some of the best stuff that has ever been released. I know it’s kinda random but lately there’s been negative reviews on the show that are built on the dumbest reasons. I respect everyone’s opinion of the show, but it’s really hard to when you say that seeing bricks takes the Star Wars feel out of the show.
  2. Got damn that would be a massive get by this staff.
  3. Wasn’t Herman in the exact same situation year 2 with osu and West Virginia needing to win? Whoever it was Herman got the help from another team to get to the CCG.
  4. Your standard, my standard, all of our standards. It doesn’t matter because he’s not performing at an optimal level that we all thought he would be. And no I don’t think I need a repeat of intro to general sociology, thank you though, Mead. His change will be rooted in his relationship with football, not symbolic interaction with his hair. His style of playing is catching up to him, which was fine when we were winning but now he’s figuring out that only having a gifted arm isn’t going cut it going forward in his football career. Let’s just agree to disagree, and move on.
  5. I mean you stated it pretty clearly “Want to sport a mullet as a high-profile D1 QB? Earn it.” The point is, is that his hair style wasn’t a problem when he was tearing up Bama or OU, so stop thinking he needs to pull some symbolic bullshit now that he’s not performing to your standard.
  6. Are we seriously wanting Ewers to earn the right to style his hair the way he wants to? Imo it’s dumb to be concerned with the hair style of any player on our team, no matter what their production on the field is like.
  7. It was weird seeing Ewers struggle to throw the ball away when it’s not there. That’s the one thing he’s consistently done well this year. Although, some of the pressures he received this game were right on him instantly.
  8. Healthy arm Cook is a guy that gets drafted. I still think he might.
  9. Oh no I agree with you completely. Experience is big. I just think he’s going to have to fend off the young bucks that are going to push him hard.
  10. I was laughing hard as the ESPN pussy sideline guy was bitching about Ewers’ body language. What a joke that guy is. The same guy jumping offsides back to back then Whitt fumbling a big throw that would’ve been first down. Yeah I’d be pissed too. Ewers could be a little better with his some of his emotions today, maybe save it for when y’all get back to the bench. I think if it was that big of a deal though, Rojo would have lit his ass up real quick. Ewers has a lot of maturing to do this offseason, and I’m willing to see how he can grow to become better. He’s too talented.
  11. I really think majors is on the hot seat. He really hasn’t progressed that much and I feel like this game was a first where he didn’t have an offside’s penalty. Its going to be a fun offseason to see how the Oline shapes out.

  13. I guess you didn’t read the first part of what I said. But I guess 10-16, 160yrds and 1 td with a bad shoulder is struggling.
  14. You watched Sam on the sideline with bad shoulder in a sling for the second half, or did we watch a different game? He was already not fully healthy going into the game if I remember. And while Casey played a helluva game, that Colorado team was ass.
  15. The amount of games Sam won for Herman should not do be understated. 3rd and 3 or shorter, everyone knew what was coming because our entire offense was so predictable, and they still couldn’t stop Sam. Card or Thompson wouldn’t be able to do that for Herman.

Good shit. The funeral procession with the drums was intense as hell. Kino’s speech, Luthen’ speech, and now Marva’s speech were fantastic. You could also throw in the reading of Nemik’s manifesto, too.The writing and production was probably the best we’ve seen from Star Wars since the ESB. Andor not fully being involved with the rebellion but ironically being part of building the most crucial part of the Death Star, which he will ultimately take the first step in destroying, was such a cool thing to see. They did it with the sunset, and now the parts he built while in prison. Just beautiful story telling. Can’t wait for season 2! Also, whoever kicked our precious emo boy over can touch grass.
  18. Ewers: what type of scheme are we going run to try and beat this coverage? Coach: idk man, but in section 3, 8 rows up there is a dime.
  19. The only thing you can take from the Kansas game is the way the team responded after the tcu loss. We are expected to beat Kansas obviously but I thought the absolute domination was nice to see.
  20. You could add Finkley, K Rob, Jaylon G, Hutson and then maybe Brooks, and Jordan to the list. Still a short list tho.
  21. I don’t even know why I decided to interact with you. That’s my fault.
  22. Well, that’s certainly a way of saying you’re in denial of what was going on in the game.
  23. Half the guys Sark inherited from Herman were not playing up to their potential. Hand was not going to coah up that Oline the way Flood is doing right now. The only reason jones is worth a damn, imo, is because of Flood working with him. Sark did a good job covering up Colemans failures, now imagine a second year with Herman trying to and the returning wr core. Not fun. Sanders is a Herman guy but was no where close to being ready his freshman year. The defense is more wishy washy but I will say under year 2, our defense has shown huge improvement. I don’t think Ash was going to light the world on fire with the returning group. The corners coah who’s name slips my mind was an absolute joke, and 3x as bad as Joseph.
  24. Translation “I remember the saga from last year with worthy, and read some messages board rumors on him transferring this year.”
  25. Eh, saying he wasn’t the problem is a stretch. Turtle Tom was his nickname for a reason. I think Herman can be a good coach but his failures at Texas fall squarely on his shoulders.
