  1. Heading up to Columbus, OH for the Memorial Tournament. Tuesday, we play Urbana Country Club which is the original Dye family first course. Pete’s son finished the second nine in 1994. Wednesday have been invited to play Scioto Country Club which is Uber exclusive and the home of Nicklaus.. Saturday and Sunday at the event. Oh.....and a wee bit of drinking and other asundry things!!
  2. Agreed!! That is what I’ve always liked about Emilia as well.
  3. Can’t beat Sherman’s Deli & Bakery for a great breakfast
  4. Thinking -12/13 takes home the hardware. Winner will come from the back.
  5. Placed a bet with a buddy 5 weeks ago at +550 for a $100.00 on the Masters with Spieth. Liking the trajectory currently.
  6. I would highly recommend reading “Killing the Rising Sun” by Bill O’Reilly & Martin Dugard. The atrocities by the Japanese make the Nazi treatment of the Jewish population look mundane.
  7. Mid 7 at best in my honest opinion. However, she has a nice & possibly artificially augmented rack🤘
  8. Crazy that this subject was mentioned. Went to the game in 2005 with 15 UT alumni from my days in the mid 80’s. Left our wives/girlfriends in the hotel after hearing about the crowd concerning visiting teams. Prior to the game we all were up beat and confident but not over the top. Buckeye’s were just as confident but with no “throw down” moments. After the game was over, beer bottles were tossed at us and taunting was over the top. Worse away game experience that I’ve ever attended. Fortunately our group size probably limited any additional confrontation.
  9. Just posted about this tour on my only time seeing them. They opened with this song in Dallas in ‘81 at Reunion. It truly is strong!!
  10. Only time unfortunately that I saw them was the Fair Warning tour in 1981 at Reunion Arena. That was a hell of.a show with Iron Maiden opening up for them. Saw it with my best friend to this day who saw a concert at Shoreline in the Bay Area with Alice n Chains opening up for VH. What I wish that I could’ve been at that event as I never saw ANC. Honestly believe that Sammy brought more to the table than Dave ever did from a musical aspect.
  11. Eugene, you beat me to the same thought.......what a sound from the engine. Pure magic!
  12. By far......The Greatest generation of Americans our country has produced. Thank you for the sacrifice that you gave for all of us to have regardless of ideology and political affiliation. NO CLOAK ROOM!!!!
  13. My father (all of the age of 19 years) cut his first combat teeth as a F4F fighter pilot off the Fanshaw Bay during the Leyte Gulf campaign In 1944. I still have his leather flight helmet along with his goggles to this day and dreamed of following in his steps as a “Naval Aviator” but was failed on my flight physical due to an ACL injury in high school after graduating with a B.S. Aerospace Engineering degree in ‘86. Completely devastated me. He was a “cocky” individual but never discussed in detail the obvious Hell/Terror that someone his age almost certainly felt in the island campaign to defeat the Japanese. For those that haven’t read “Killing the Rising Sun” by Bill O’Reilly, I would highly suggest. The level of atrocities by the German Reich pale in comparison to that of the Japanese.
  14. Go to Lawn Lake in RMNP. Little bit of a hike but well worth the view and nice fishing as well. Enjoy!
  15. The Memorial within the last 90 minutes indicated that they have rescheduled the tournament in mid-July. Patronage will be allowed outside a worsening of the Covid issues. Flight itinerary changed and will be my third year in a row to witness the event. For the golfing fan, I highly recommend that you see the event in person. Tremendous course and great hospitality by the staffers.
  16. The last true bucket list item on my agenda and hopefully very soon. God, how I’m going miss seeing The Masters this week............
  17. Have spent a significant amount of time in Stanley, Redfish Lake and the Sawtooth’s as a fellow Longhorn brother of mine from Longview has resided in Boise since 1997. His wedding was in the lodge at Redfish Lake. Beautiful area
