  1. Thank you grammar police
  2. Could have been Sexton but I’m not sure about that. Whether it be shitty false reporting or someone is Sarks circle stabbing him in the back, I agree he needs to squash it quick.
  3. Yea I agree if he doesn’t fix the issues next season it’s a different conversation because then there’s a pattern developing. They did win those games albeit they weren’t good performances. Shows a lot about their character to not quit down by 17 in the 4th. They could have easily done that and we’ve seen that under other coaches we’ve had here. I do t know the answer to the sark play calling dilemma. You might be right. I think Flood has to go now though. No excuse for an oline at Texas to be this bad in this era of college football. Yea if he wants out I agree. I don’t think anyone expects him to build statues as you say for them. Doesn’t mean he hasn’t been invested in building this program. The evidence speaks for itself the previous 2 seasons.
  4. Nice hot take. Shows you’ve never been apart of a football locker room. Sark might be headed for the NFL and I think it’s a fair criticism to say he didn’t do enough to fix the oline issues in the offseason. I personally don’t understand how you can let that happen in the NIL/portal era. But to insinuate that his whole time here has just been a stepping stone or ploy to get him somewhere else is baseless speculation at best. Clearly you don’t remember the state of the program before he got here. He’s earned the right to fix the issues. To say it’s just a business to a coach like that doesn’t hold water. He’s put an incredible amount of time and effort into transforming the culture of the program. You don’t get that from just using the team as a stepping stone.
  5. I mean would you really want Meyer as the head coach at Texas? Some things are more important than winning. I know that’s not a popular opinion but that guy shouldn’t be allowed to be around kids again. Period.
  6. Very rarely. I understand the frustration with the offense though. Pretty inexcusable given the resources at this place.
  7. Not really. Arch has not been good but nowhere near the level of bad Gilbert was. Not to mention several blowout losses to inferior competition in 2010.
  8. Lol well you’re certainly a pro at it at this point.
  9. I see what you’re saying but I’d give up everything for Chris Simms level play right now.
  10. That’s such a tone deaf response. You understand that when the offense doesn’t pick up first downs that the defense is out there for the majority of the game and therefore leads to fatigue, mistakes, etc… Was the defense perfect… no. But they absolutely won the game for Texas today. And 2 niblett special teams returns. The defense can only stop them so many times.
  11. They definitely didn’t match floridas physicality on either side of the ball. Not saying they couldn’t have or it’s impossible to but they got whipped in that game. No doubt about it.
  12. This. We went blow for blow with Ohio state but to say Florida didn’t out physical us is ridiculous.
  13. Good luck to know the board is still full of complete morons.

    Culture

They are just soft and have been for some time now. Sure there are a few exceptions every year but for the most part they play soft. They give up too quickly when they get down. They lack physicality. It's like when they get to Texas they feel like they've made it. You can say all day that culture isn't the problem and that it's the coaching but we are on coach 3 since mack and we keep getting the same results.
  15. Your'e right. They both did. Just the majority of posts I saw lately are about blaming the qb or head coach which is understandable but in reality you won't beat anyone giving up 300 on the ground.
