  1. Yeah after the season big changes on offense are needed, that said my main criticism are the people that want some junction boys type stupidity, like always my main criticism is people being stupid and emotional.
  2. Sure, but this all comes down from the top, call slow developing complex run blocking schemes and we are in trouble, talking bottom 100th level performance, (OU got screwed because BV is super aggressive on defense to overcompensate) Simplify things enormously and we can at least take it to 50th percentile. Screaming is not going to solve a thing either way though, intelligence over stupidity always.
  3. I blame both because they are being paid, but pretending screaming is the answer is idiotic, they know they are fucking up, and this is being compounded to make more mistakes going forward, this is a mental hole the same offense that ground down oklahoma is getting in its own head and fucking up touch passes. I blame Sark for 80% of it though its his arrogance that is causing this.
  4. On the field not in the press conference. The logic is simple, be introspective after the game and fake till you make it during the game, if he was arrogant in the press conference it would be double bad, instead of just not comming to grips that he needs to lead when the pads come on.
  5. Dejected does not equal quitting.
  6. Not only would quick passes also prevent all out blitzes that consistently happen because they work, if Wisner does not pick up that blitz on that 3rd and long (before Moore running out of bounds) the game is lost.
  7. It's fine that he does it the Defense can say anything it wants, and the offense can't spiral out of control, my problem is with Sark still pushing a square peg into a round hole and taking the confidence from the RRS and burning it in a trash fire. I have always been right that running a NFL offense in College is fools gold, dumb it down make simple plays that keeps the kids out of spiralling. Demanding excellence from your players is for the offseason, right now you can't scream at them and expect results. That said Sark does not have the excellence in him.
  8. Arch grew up a LOT as a leader today, there is simply no comparison between the first 3 games and the last 3 games, that is just something Ewers never really did, demanding the team give 110% every play from now on like it is the red river is fools gold but during the past 2 CFP years Texas was always playing at 75%, most notable the black hole in the 3rd quarter.
  9. Mack was 7-9 vs OU. Brent would love a stat like that.
  10. BOMC paid Mateer to get fake surgery https://texags.com/forums/5/topics/3561876

  12. Man I had the exact same thought after Gilbert played vs Bama, I thought "we kept it close, he grew up ten years in one night, playing the toughest opponent he will likely ever play" 2010 was the only year I was really really wrong. Turns out predicting the mental health of our QBs is a crapshoot.
  13. Science > empiricism > common sense > emotional mob That is my standard and has rarely let me down. I am personally inching closer to the idea that Arch is not ready and it will require way too much time to correct his head, but at the same time the very same mob wanted Ewers benched for Arch so I am fairly certain the mob is very rarely right.
  14. Yeah sure in 2013 but he also got boo'ed out of his ass in 2001 and the fans were wrong. At the end of the day, I rather trust common sense than a rabid mob.
  15. Mack is right booing won't solve anything, its up to the coaches to decide when enough is enough but the fanbase making things worse won't fix Arch's choking problems. The worst part of watching games in person is joe schmo with shit opinions.
