That leather looks so much better than the new King Ranch leather.

Yeah, it's thick, and that dark shade I dig the most. (that's what she said)  The guy I bought it from had the center console stocked up with leather conditioner.  He must have bathed that interior in it religiously.  No crack, no fade (well, a tiny bit), no nuthin'.

Having done a lot of my growing up on a ranch I could tell right off that rig's tires had probably never touched dirt.

Looking at the odometer and sitting in it just doesn't match up.  Drives a lot like my old F250 w/o the diesel rumble and sound.  It's the old 5.4 liter, so the power is "down low", which I like for the towing.

  2. Had my beater Suburban stolen over the holidays.  I basically just used it to get the boat on and off the water so I figured I'd just replace it w/another beater.  Did some looking around and stumbled accross a 4X King Ranch F150 down in SA for $14K.  140k miles, but in really, really (/Tom Herman) good shape.  Went down with my bag 'o cash and brought her home.  I wanna lift it and put larger, slightly more aggressive tires on.  Suggestions on where to go locally for such an endeavor?  All the places I know and trust are down in SA and I don't want to deal with that trip.

  3. Ahem.  Ran across this on a FB Floyd page just a few minutes ago.  Hope it isn't bullshit...

Yep, folks, you read that right. David Gilmour has officially revealed that he is going to be heading back into the studio. His most recent solo album, Rattle That Lock, apparently has tons more unreleased music that David plans to feature on this next LP.

“I feel very uncomfortable heading off out and doing another tour without having made new music. There are several songs which are close to being complete, which didn’t make it onto this album. I can’t see myself doing another tour without making another album first. That takes me a while. It took 10 years last time. I’m really hoping that, without making any promises, it won’t take ten years this time, that I will get back in and start working again. Following that, yeah, I’ll be out again.”

It’s simply goes without saying that we as fans should get very, VERY excited about anything that David Gilmour plans to release. The man cranks out great music like Willy Wonka cranks out chocolate. Needless to say, whenever David Gilmour releases this new album, it’s gonna be a good year!

Hmmm..... you seem like a guy who checks the exterior of a car and says, "I'll take it" without test driving it or looking under the hood.  Let's see the bottom half:

    Like a fullback's.... canks, pass.

Oooh.  Reminds me of the broads on CNBC.  They give incredible face, but check around and lower and it's hard pass time.

I'm still not over what I found in my Meg Tirrel, uh, research.

With regard to the car analogy, I'm never buying any of these models, so yeah, I'm probably a bit trigger happy knowing I don't have to live with my own poor judgement.

Ok, white flag fellas.  I know I'm missing something here.  I don't follow Chaffetz.  The only time I notice him is when he's lapdogging for Fox here and there.

When I think of the Healthcare/Cell phone thing it's this...

Again, white flag, hands up, palms out.

    What am I missing?

    Edit: Nevermind, I found it.

We have to look at it through the lens of politics. Power is an amplifier to attraction and looks. Beto is just an average guy as is AOC an average gal, but in politics with the average age where it is, we can see why people think she’s gorgeous or whatever extreme description of beauty.

like in real estate when you value your home, you look at comps. The comps Beto has is The Turtle and Donald and Bernie Sanders so he looks like the Taj Mahal. Same thing with AOC and her comps being Pelosi etc.

Using this as a standard I'm goin' with Tulsi.

I've had enough of this either-or bullshit.

This is America.  My grandfather didn't carry a rifle to Berlin so I could be restricted to liking one or the other.  I like 'em all, cuz freedom.

Also, the Saints took a 3pt lead after this call. Then their defense allows the Rams to drive down to tie the game. Saints get ball first in OT. They throw a pick.

They blew a 13pt lead at home and allowed the Rams to stay in this game due to their first 2 drives stalling.

I get it. The no call was terrible. But take care of business and you win the game. Resorting to saying the NFL is now rigged and that is why you lost? Stop. Saints had that game in control. Not one penalty was called on them for the first 3 quarters or so. Get over it.

Nope, there's nothing to get over.  I don't care about the Saints or the Rams.  That call was just too fucking obvious.  NFL refs simply cannot make a mistake that bad at a moment like that and hope to have it brushed under the rug with all the rationalizations.

I'm not saying that it was planned or that the fix was in.  Shit was just too egregious to merit credibility moving forward.

    Sorry man.

  9. Chiefs’ Chris Jones was called for roughing the passer for this, um, hit on Tom Brady

Even former NFL referee Gene Steratore said the officials got it wrong.

In the fourth quarter of Sunday’s AFC Championship Game, a Patriots drive was aided by a questionable roughing the passer call against Chiefs defensive lineman Chris Jones.

Instead of third-and-7, the Patriots got a first down on a drive that ended with a touchdown.

Steratore, who works for CBS, admitted that was the wrong call
