  1. I can tell you this, there will be plenty of talent on both sides in the stands for this one.

And later on all that talent will be staggering around the Quarter with horribly bad, extremely expensive, high octane beverages in tow.

    Don't let me down fellas.

We get it, Tahoe, you think black people are inferior. Now shut the fuck up and move on.

Tahoe? Lulz.  Wish my pop was still alive so I could tell him what a bozo he was naming his "racist" son after a black jazz musician.

It's a crazy world.  Someone ought to sell tickets...

"Lemon" was actually my dad's 3rd choice of first names for me.  The others were "Tyrone", "Leroy", and "Waddell".  I shit you not.

What about the most spectacular of the violentest of violent crimes? Sandy Hook, Columbine, Parkland, Las Vegas, Thousand Oaks, Charleston. It goes on and on and on.

Yep, and so does Chicago, New Orleans, Detroit, Oakland, etc.  Day in and day out, 24/7.  On and on...

It's all shitty, but back to your soap box.

Probably because most violent crimes are not committed by African Americans.

But what about the violentest of violent crimes?

"The rate at which crime is committed varies greatly between racial groups. While most homicides in the United States are intraracial—the perpetrator and victim are of the same race—the rates at which African Americans (blacks) both commit and are the victim of homicide is about six to eight times higher than that of white Americans. "

Everybody on the right is exactly the same level of piece of shit as Hannity. They all say the same thing. In lock step. As in a parade, at all times.

A:  Not true (and I'm not defending the fucks, but simply not true.)  Shit, Google Napolitano's opinion on the new Atty General from today.  While you're at it, Google Sheppard Smith's takes on the orange man over the last 12 months.

"Napolitano: Acting AG ‘does not qualify under the law’ to take job"

B:  It's cute that you believe that "news" folks on the left are any better.  Shit, just watch the handoffs between Tapper, Cooper, Cuomo, and Lemon.  It's a regular circle jerk every single night.  If the other doesn't nod along with what the one talking is layin' down I think they get docked a months pay by the man behind the curtain.  Like clockwork.  Pushback is rarer than a sighting of Bigfoot riding the Loch Ness Monster over a rainbow to help the Leperchaun lift his pot of gold.

fuck you.  How many on the left ever appeared at a POTUS rally onstage?

Ok, Hannity wins the POS award out of all of them.

Congrats, your "news" cloaked activists heroes are a little less shitty than Sean Hannity.

    What time's the parade?

Agreed. Shame on anyone for relying on cable TV as their primary source of information. We should all cut the cable. Fox, CNN, MSNBC, and the like are poisoning our political system. This country needs a gotdam 12-step program.

    Spot. The. Fuck. On.

None deserve a defense of any kind.

Cooper, Wolf, Maddow, Ruhle, Scarboro, Tapper, etc are just the other side of the shitty coin from Hannity, Tucker, Regan, Ingram, Dobbs, etc.

Fuck 'em and fuck 'em good!

This is what you quoted and now claim what he said. You're projecting an opinion on him that he did not state.

"They're a news organization. They should just report the news outside of clearly identified opinion programming."

But, you see, they are a news organization in name only and they do not just report the news outside of clearly identified opinion programming.

~See Jim Acosta  (and many, many others there as well)

Yes, he said "should", I get that.  Beyond getting locked into each and every word there's a spirit and assertion being made and it's that CNN actually strives to achieve this standard.  We all know they do not.

  10. 1 hour ago, bolverk said:

So you disagree with the idea that a news organization SHOULD do that?

No, I disagree with the idea that CNN is in any way a News organization.

They are an opinion organization with some news sprinkled in when it advances their narrative.

Fox is no different, btw.  They're all pretenders and not very good ones at that.

The post I responded to with amusement in no way, shape, or form addressed what a news organization "should" do.  It bald faced claimed that CNN was all things pure and true in the News business.  I mean, it's interesting that the questioning revolves around my response rather that the ludicrous nature of what I was responding to.  Speaks volumes really.

It's actually not CNN's job to condemn or approve anything. They're a news organization. They should just report the news outside of clearly identified opinion programming.
