Army's last two editions have been simply outstanding. Blacked out 82nd Airborne...and, come on, X Mountain in the freaking snow?! How awesome was that? I am really looking forward to what West Point and Nike cooked up this year...

I guess I haven't heard about this story too much ... or maybe I did & just forgot 'cause old. Anybody have more detail?
CDC called aggy about a H&H, aggy “nope we’re full playing three cream puffs,” so CDC said “k thx bye” and immediately scheduled Alabama (aka aggy’s new daddy). It’s almost like he knew aggy would run scared, and then all the blame would be on them for the game not getting played.

27-25. Choke on on it, aggy. Then choke on it again and again into eternity. I hope we never play those regards again. Ever.
This "lawmaker" can go fuck a sheep. Didn't CDC offer aggy a H&H, to which aggy did what aggy does best: run away and bleat lies? His school ran away to get its fudge packed by a new daddy.

Daaaayyymn, dcbc. You did right by that bird; looks great. Two questions, if you'll permit me: did you brine beforehand? And what charcoal are you running with?

Iowa St is damn tough. It's ugly, we're cursing at the TV a lot, but the result is all that matters.

My daughter (will be six next summer) loves the first three films, so we'll be in for this one. My hopes are medium-high, as Pixar has very few disappointments (IHMO), but as stated above Toy Story 3 perfectly wrapped up the trilogy. It will be interesting to see where they take the story.

Great story on the body bearers
Indeed.

I think I can imagine, but I probably can’t. Attending a game at West Point is a bucket list item of mine.

West Point, on the 100th anniversary of the end of WWI, would have been a cool GameDay setting. Army is 7-2 and salty, but their opponent today is 3-6 Lafayette.

I don't think Eddie Senior was a dilly-dillier. He was a fervently religious man who would have probably executed homosexuals. However, as seen in the movie, his son was possibly a dandy - it really isn't known if he was boning Pers Gaveston (the nobleman who in the movie was "skilled in the arts of war" or if they were sworn brothers (a Medieval thing) or even semi-adoptive brothers. Anyway in real life, Ed Senior didn't push Pers out of a window... he lived a lot longer than that. However the Barons around Ed Junior wanted the guy gone, they were tired of his (in their opinions) undue influence, and they exiled him. Ed Junior revoked some pacts with them in return, and called for him back from exile. That led to Barons' displeasure and in fact a war was started over that. The Barons finally had Pers executed in 1312 and Ed Junior lost of course to Bruce in Bannockburn 2 years later.
This; Edward reportedly had a close relationship with his first queen, Eleanor of Castile. After she died, he had twelve "Eleanor Crosses" erected at each of the stopping points her body made on its final journey to Lincoln to London.

How'd you know it was my truck?
I deduced it, when you walked in.
Also from that scene:
"All the time you spend trying to get back what's been took from you, more's goin' out the door. Sometimes you just gotta try to get a tourniquet on it."

Rubbed w olive oil then basically dumped on and sorta rubbed it in. Definitely didn't shake or make any attempt to get the excess off. The excess on top probably just stayed piled on since it went from counter to grill looking like that. Thinking that was the mistake.
I'm doing another one sunday, I'm going to try a more reasonable amount of rub (and a much bigger butt now that i know it turns out so well). Will report back!

Try a shaker next time. That way you can re-mix it right before applying it (because the rub will start to settle over time), and using a shaker will also help you apply a more even coating. You want to get a uniform coating on all sides while still still kinda-sorta being able to see the meat underneath, and it shouldn't look "caked-on."
From your before picture, the rub looks too heavy and way too white /no racist. I'm not sure what the white elements are: Table salt? Garlic salt? You may already know this (and if so $&#@ me for stating the obvious), but use Kosher salt not table salt, and Diamond brand Kosher salt is better than Morton's (which is twice as salty as Diamond,).
As far as pepper, I've had good results with Kirkland's coarse grid from Costco. Others on here have mentioned Tone's. Saves a lot of time and effort.

That is going to redefine the word "awesome." Is it too late to enroll at Wash St for the spring 2019 semester?
