"Texas Athletic Director Chris Del Conte could have phoned A&M AD Scott Woodward and asked if a game could be scheduled."
Well, except CDC did call aggy to inquire about a home and home. To which aggy promptly said no. So CDC went out and set up Bama and LSU. Fuck off, aggy. I, for one, never want to see us on the football field with them again outside of possibly in the CFP.

I have the Shun classic set. I’m missing the bone filet and the cleaver. Dammit
How do you like your Shun? The wife (no pics) overlooked me looking up chef's knives and surprised me with a Shun Classic 8" for V-Day. It is a gorgeous knife and feels sharper than a razor blade. However, I'm reading that the edge, while its strength means it will retain its edge longer and need sharpening less often, is more brittle and prone to chipping than German blades. I also have a lesser chef knife that I've managed to sharpen up into a pretty sharp knife that I'd use for heaver duty work. I would also be immediately upgrading to a well-made end-grain cutting board.

Also impressive how the last 20 years have lowered Cleveland's all-time winning percentage. From 1950 - 1995, the Browns went 365-261-10 (a winning percentage of around 0.570). The NewCo Browns, 1999-2018, are 99-236-1 for a nifty 0.293.

Your meat looks moist and succulent, and I’d like to put it in my mouth. /no homo.
Seriously, though, those chops look as though they were cooked to perfection.

You just had the one tortilla left?
Not that I'm criticizing, mind you.
Had five or so Mission burrito-sized tortillas left over from the weekend. The one in the pic is mine; kid and wife's taco not pictured. I like my breffis tacos "Dad Size:" two eggs plus one egg white, which gives enough volume of eggs to eat some with a fork before rolling up the rest.

WF has not "taken over" Dallas. Today, in Dallas there are five Whole Foods and three Central Markets. CM is superior in just about any way too.
This. The only thing I prefer at Whole Foods is their pre-packaged guacamole (WF has more cilantro and lime, which I prefer), but beyond that CM blows them away on selection, price, and (IMHO) quality. CM Lover's Lane > CM Plano* > Whole Foods.
*Don't know about CM Fort Worth.

The knife looks like as cool and deadly effective a culinary instrument that has ever been devised. Might I inquire as to the make and model?
Oh, and that steak looks great, too.

I use my sous vide to reheat smoked brisket that I have saved and kept frozen. I freeze it in multi-serving pieces with my food saver and then reheat at 160. The bark suffers but it’s as moist as if it just came off the smoker. And it lasts for many months in the freezer with no freezer burn. Probably go more than a year but we eat it way before then. This man truly knows that of which he speaks. The method also works just as well for pulled pork; ribs...no so much (or at least in my experience).

Pleased with this cold snap’s effort. Best pot yet. Reconstituted pepper slurry is definitely the correct answer; next-level flavor. Rep to all you gents for posting your ratios. Skillet cornbread was on point as well.

So much this. Most times (90%) their fries are "just out of the frier" hot.
The lemon pepper wings dunked in the honey mustard sauce...good eats.
