    2025 NFL Draft

    Eyerolls at Sean Payton's claims
  2. The two day draft is for the teams, not for viewers. Teams felt too rushed and confused by pick trades by round two and it was chaos

    2024 NFL DRAFT

They could have just drafted Odunze at #8 and have been awesome on offense
  4. Going back and listening to the Athletic's day to youtube video, Russini said that Houston was calling a lot of teams trying hard to trade back into the first round for who she believes was an offensive player. I'm curious who that was
  5. They could probably improve at safety with a free agent, but as is, they do have two start-able players in Ward and Pitre while having a developmental backup now in Bullock CB3 is whoever loses between Okudah and Henderson If they don't spend this money up in free agency in the next couple of months, they'll have ammo for filling in spots as needed due to injuries or players getting cut when rosters get cut down. It's also beneficial to wait until roster cuts in the fall because it doesn't count against the comp formula, which is why some teams (Baltimore in particular) will wait until then to fill in holes

The Banks comp is Rashawn Slater, who went 13th in a draft that had four QBs go before that pick and was otherwise loaded in the top ten. In a weaker draft, Banks could go a bit higher if he has the same prospect profile.

1 QB in the top 20, I'll bet the house someone takes one long before that. It’s not a mock draft

    Because why? No Ewers?
  11. They picked Lassiter among a pretty loaded nickel group (Sainristil, Rakestraw, Melton, Green). I would have guessed they'd opt for Rakestraw. The league seemed a bit cooler on DeJean and Kool-Aid than the internet, not sure if that's due to their recent injuries (that seem recoverable), or based on tape. When the pick was made for Fisher, Caserio looked pretty pumped on TV. Never sure if that's performative. He's a nice tackle fit for an OZ team, and a redshirt year should help him iron our his technical issues and to add some weight
