  1. You’d rather be the betting favorite than not
  2. A note that might not be news or surprising; Texas is the most bet on team right now to win the national championship at every major book both in terms of tickets and handle by a considerable margin. Both retail and professional money is on Texas.
  3. Worth noting that he had a better career than his more highly regarded as a prospect teammate, Shemar Turner
  4. Still surprised they didn't bring in the 10 year starting SB winning Patriots center who got injured last year and then cut after the season. Both the OL coach and Caserio know him. Perhaps the injury is just that bad.
  5. Henderson is interesting. Was young for his grade as a recruit (IIRC, it's been awhile, but I remember liking him as a prospect) Five year starter in college (four year starter at ASU including his true freshman year, then one year at Michigan starting ten games at LT when they won the title), so he's played a ton of football Missed last year while recovering from injury, but apparently remade his body according to DeMeco Is still only 23 years old
  6. Houston has a ton of bodies in the OL room for competition and eventually spitting out a best five, including a mix of guys they're invested in (Howard, Fisher, Ersery), vets with a ton of starts who've struggled recently but should bring professionalism to the room (Robinson, Tomlinson, Ingram, Brown), four centers (Scruggs, Patterson, Andrews, Cox), and then a bunch of other bodies, including Ladarius Henderson who's name DeMeco threw out recently There's so many potential ways this can go that it's difficult to predict a starting five, but does anyone care to take a stab? Tytus Howard Cam Robinson Laken Tomlinson Ed Ingram Trent Brown Blake Fisher Jarrett Patterson Aireontae Ersery Zach Thomas Ladarius Henderson Jake Andrews Austin Deculus Eli Cox Nick Broeker Jerome Carvin Jaylon Thomas
  7. He's a talented yolo gunslinger. Needs to cut down on the turnovers
  8. I like Nussemeier, but he's certainly not a transcendent guy who's going to win you a title on his back
  9. Unless Goosby has a medical red flag that scares teams off, I wouldn't use Cam Williams' drop as an example for him
  10. The Moores don't have the physical traits to go in the first round no matter how productive they are
  11. I'd ignore early draft stuff that isn't from Brugler or Tice. DJ doesn't do early draft stuff. The rest is crap
  12. I'm not as down on Moore as some here appear to be, but that specific play was Sark scheming up a tendency breaker more than Moore beating someone in coverage or running a nice route against zone
  13. If their movies came out within the past 50 years, I figured those movies qualified even if the directors started before that, which means the movies of Spielberg, Scorcese, Kubrick, Altman, etc post from '75 on count If you just meant after that generation of directors, then yeah they have a strong argument, although that argument is probably with PTA
