  1. Not saying the general sentiment is incorrect, but Holle is just not wired that way.
  2. According to Gerry, Gaad is pushing back his announcement until late January or early February, with plans to visit Texas again in late January.
  3. Spence too.
  4. Zelus Hicks is not practicing with the team.
  5. We did the manta-ray-night thing a few years ago and it was the most incredible experience of the whole trip. I've been on more than a dozen whale watches in my life - I very much enjoy a good whale watch - but i'd do the manta ray thing over a whale watch 10 out of 10 times. FWIW
  6. It is hilarious watching OU get stymied on 3rd and 4th and short over and over.

  8. while newly announced, this is old news - i don't think she was around much after the first few weeks.
  9. got a few more coming too
  10. Not at all. Good riddance to Carrington.
  11. Sark said Majors could have gone back into the game if necessary. Believe him.
  12. DM me your number and I will transfer the pass. hook 'em
  13. good call, he was on the council in Season 1 (The Trial, episode 7).
  14. I don't know if he'll stay or leave - he had an acclimation period getting up to speed. He was traveling to away games by the end of the season, which is a good indicator that he was gaining trust.
  15. Butler got off on the wrong foot and was in the dog house for much of the year.
  16. I definitely thought a parking pass would generate at least a little bit of interest. Not sure if I made it clear earlier, but it is a digital pass that I can electronically transfer. Hopefully someone decides they want a pretty sweet parking location.
  17. people don't appreciate just how scary that injury was
  18. I have a parking pass for the Brazos Garage (Clemson game, obviously) that I can't use. Rather than sell it, I thought I'd give it to someone here. Whoever pledges the most to Burnt Ends (or whatever benefits the site the most in @immamac's eyes) gets the pass. I'll check in Friday night and make arrangements for the transfer then.
  19. sometimes that disease of the mind infects winning(ish) teams.
  20. check out the uncalled hold on Trey Moore in the second clip.
  21. I was there in the lower bowl. Georgia was getting away with a lot of holding on their edge runs (holds on Moore and Lole stand out particularly in my mind). I don't know if they showed it on TV, but there was one run Georgia had that gained maybe 10-12 yards where Moore was grabbed onto and prevented from closing the gap that was used. Sark was going absolutely nuts on the sideline. There was another later in the game where Sark went all the way down to the 10 yard line talking to the ref, who promptly shooed him back inside the box. Bottom line - I agree that the bigger issue was less the calls against Texas, but the different standards between what constituted a penalty against Texas and what constituted a penalty against Georgia. Wanna call Muhammed for PI for a tug on the shoulder? Fine, but call it both ways. Wanna call Hill for roughing on an ordinary football play? Fine, but call it against Georgia too. My dad, who lives on the East Coast, told me that on Sunday an Oregon fan approached him and said he couldn't believe how much the officials had it in for Texas. That is just a single anecdote, but I do think the double standard was blatant and obvious to most neutral observers.
  22. I'm not usually a point the finger at the refs kind of guy - typically calls are uneven because human beings are involved and things even out over time. This was different - It really smacked hazing or some sort of nonsense. The combination of ticky tack, drive killing calls on Texas at crucial times and the absolute absence of any similar calls on Georgia was just blatant. Infuriating.
  23. I'll be there. I booked my flight to Atlanta back in September.
