  1. I am loving the fact that we could witness a cataclysmic event of idiocy and arrogance when Leon O'Neal and Bobby Wolfe wind up on the same campus together. If those two wind up feeling slighted for any reason, the whole world is going to hear about it and it will make Kris Boyd tweeting during halftime of the RRR look like amateur hour.

Sometimes it is hard to understand a poster’s intent when you’re responding while your eyes are rolled into the back of your head and you’re foaming at the mouth and all over your keyboard.

Well done.  Looks like the odds are stacked against him, though.

I don’t think they’re totally stacked against him, really. All he needs to do is shoot his father in the face, bury him in a vat of acid, drop his sense of entitlement, gain .3 seconds on his 40, and act like he gives a fuck. If he can make all that happen in the next 3 weeks, we’ll be speaking of Amanti Foreman’s prowess for decades.

You can surely understand that, with me being an entitled and arrogant Texas fan and all, I don't give two fucks about your plight with this kind of deal. Be happy to be seated at the big boy table, say thank you, and enjoy swinging from our nuts. You're welcome, sir.

If ESPN/Disney wants to block the Pac deal, they need to put together a package that adds Houston and Arkansas and puts enough money on the table that forces Arkansas' hand out of the SEC.  The current Arky leadership is a lot more Texas centric than in the past with Aggie Chad and the new AD being from UH.

Pac-12 had their chance.  Wish there was a way we could throw Baylor's ass out on the street, though.  That definitely happens if the Big 12 dissolves.

I've never seriously considered what I'm about to type, but after looking at all of the existing data and the trends, why is it absurd to think that perhaps the Arizona schools would join the Big 12? I think they'd be a positive net addition to the conference, and the travel involving them, frankly, isn't problematic. I'm sure they've got all kinds of bizarre allegiances to the west coast at this point, but the money disparity is pretty significant.

I've long viewed the Big 12 as a dead conference that was playing out a string, but adding AU, ASU, CU and Utah wouldn't be the worst course of action. Throw in BYU and throw out Baylor and you've suddenly got a really interesting middle of the country conference with strong brands and damned good football with a sprinkling of quality in the other sports as well.

Whatever. It's all fantasy as long as we're stuck in this GOR shit. Fun to ponder in a non-realignment thread of doom, also.

He's supposedly been a Bama silent for months, but is waiting until NSD to commit so he doesn't have to deal with the locals as a Bama commit all year

He’s lazy and paid for. But I don’t mind the visit. I like the messages it sends, at this point.

Others will know better but I believe Adimora is the last shhh (sorry if that triggers you CTJ)

However, EJ said that he is not the last remaining silent commit

No triggering, sir. I stated he was a shhh months ago and held to it and have it now validated. I wish I had this much of a clue regarding things in life that matter.

  8. Paraphrasing the words of Sam Kinison (RIP): “ we realized there wouldn't BE a water problem if you people would live where the WATER IS! YOU LIVE IN A DESERT!! UNDERSTAND THAT? YOU LIVE IN A FUCKING DESERT!! NOTHING GROWS HERE! NOTHING'S GONNA GROW HERE! Come here, you see this? This is sand. You know what it's gonna be 100 years from now? IT'S GONNA BE SAND!! YOU LIVE IN A FUCKING DESERT! We have deserts in America, we just don't LIVE in them, assholes!"

Did Freeman even get snaps on defense last season?

    Not really that I recall.

People overthink the LB in the way Orlando is running his defense in the Big 12. If you have 4 capable LBs, irrespective of type, you’ve damn near got a 2 deep or a 4 deep depending upon the opponent. USC and Baylor will be different and that is it.

*Used Lexus. And it was blue, motherfucker.

The real irony of this is my previous vehicle had been an actual toyota Corolla. Oh to be 24 again.

It’s been a while, but I’m fairly certain it was bright purple. I mostly just remember the flames on the side.

He leases a C Class. Do you even Dallas, bro? Everyone making 30 to 40k does that.

I remember when SydneyCarton was in his mid-20’s and came to work one day bragging to the rest of us that he’d purchased a Lexus.  I’m not a car guy and don’t pay any attention to them but I knew enough to know that a Lexus was above this cat’s pay grade. Right?

Wrong. I’m in the parking garage a few days later and I see this 6’3”+ mongrel trying to climb out of this tiny, bright purple, rice burner of a car. It looked like a tricked out Corolla. I am fairly certain he’d stolen some Lexus insignia and had it drilled into his car. Anyway, that’s when I figured out that someone “owning a Mercedes” or what have you could mean a wide range of things.

I seem to be alone, but I’m loving this show. It’s incredibly watchable and the hours fly by. Some shows stay on my DVR a while, but we’re happy to be caught up with this one.

The oddballs are nuanced and funny. Despite being a top executive in a worldwide conglomerate,Tom is insecure, happy to have a punching bag in Greg, who is also his only confidant. Meanwhile, Zelig-like Greg rockets from vomitous fired amusement park mascot to an insider to all the dirty secrets in the span of a couple weeks. No, it doesn’t necessarily ring true, but it’s funny.

Alan Ruck as the oldest son/from a different mother has been a side character, happy to remain out of the fray (except when he not-so-subtly enters his name as a potential CEO). He finally shows what he’s passionate about: frozen butter.

I’m not familiar with Jeremy Strong’s previous work, but he’s doing well capturing the role of a son trying navigate the darkness of the enormous shadow cast by Logan Roy. He and Giovanni Ribisi need to play brothers in something.

Culkin’s Roman might be the character I care about the least, only because he’s written as a bit too fucked up. But he seems well suited to play a creep.

I'm with you, dude. This show is awesome. I figured I'd like it, but it has exceeded my expectations. It's irritating that it's not being talked about much, but maybe it turns a corner with folks or something.

I've been watching Trejan since before he had offers. Even despite all that, he's a huge miss for the Longhorns. No two ways about it.

I'm guessing you would have been saying the same shit about Tre Metoyer as well. And yet, no one ended up missing him. A really fast turd just slides down the sewer faster.

You guys have to read this article on Bru.....I know it's Bleacher Report, but Mike is a quality writer.  SC guy (Mike) would eat with us at our tailgate on gamedays.  I'm hearing Bru really likes Texas....

You are a saucy minx, I'll give you that. There's almost no way he doesn't go to USC, but it's nice to be in the mix.

Bru McCoy at WR is legit. If he wants to play WR, he could be a high NFL pick at WR. If he wants to play defense, you let him play there. If he can go both ways, let him mix into the rotations. His film reflects these capabilities too. He's worth the hype.

The opposite can be said of Tongue. You let him play WR for a year if he requires it in order to sign. He won't hurt you there, but he's a potential NFL LB and that will be played out by the time he leaves the campus, whether at UGA or Texas.
