  1. I hope Quinn enters the draft lol
  2. Can’t have corporations be too accountable to their customers
  3. I’m all for addressing issues with our food such as added chemicals, preservatives, dyes, etc. if that fucking guy actually stumbles into addressing this and improving it, then I’ll absolutely give credit where it’s due. But I have very low expectations any of that will actually happen
  4. Buckle up fellas. Brisket has been right. The next several years look bleak
  5. She emotes through her mouth and its goddamn annoying
  6. Oh damn an almost 4.5 year old tweet
  7. Congress passing legislation addressing every single possible rule and regulation is the very definition of efficiency
  8. I can only speak from the rehab side when it comes to Medicare Advantage plans. We are told to keep visits as low as possible for many of the MA plans because of the terrible reimbursement rates. Sometimes as low as $40 per visit. Which is ridiculous. So the patient will get maybe 5 visits or so because the agency is losing money every time they see them. Some insurance companies like Aetna, will only approve 2-3 visits max. Doesn’t matter what’s going on with the patient. That’s it. The patient is pretty screwed there. Even if they just had a knee replacement. 2-3 visits. But hey, at least their plan might cover some groceries.
  9. Can’t wait to see what Medicare is like when it’s “expanded” to be run exclusively by private insurers
  10. Which advantage plans have many ways of denying coverage. And again, their reimbursement for many services suck, causing care to be limited. Believe me, I see it everyday
  11. Yeah and they enroll in plans that have shitty reimbursements and since they are run by private insurance companies, will often deny coverage
  12. Medicare Advantage plans suck. Him being an advocate for those plans is not a flex
  13. Noaa gonna be anymore weather service
  14. Definitely. I feel like I make slight variations of the same thing every week
  15. I wanted to comment on that about working class, but also lost track of that thread. I think the definition of working class is anyone who has to work to pay bills and put food on the table. You don’t have access to some trust that allows you to maintain a comfortable lifestyle without working. In other words, under my definition, just about everyone here is working class. Elites have fooled the middle class into believing they aren’t working class
  16. It would be devastating to not only them, but the entire healthcare industry if Medicare was gutted
  17. Dr. Oz to head Medicare and Medicaid lol
  18. We’ve decided to splurge on some bigger purchases. A new TV for example anticipating it will be much more expensive this time next year
  19. Them wanting to look like they’re jerking off a couple guys is certainly a choice
  20. This obsession with grocery prices is just weird. Are they THAT much higher? I have zero doubt that a lot of people bitching about the price of eggs still go out for dinner 1-2 times a week and probably buy lunch during the week too. All of a sudden Americans are such thrifty shoppers
  21. Ok that was nice
  22. It has to be Arch time
  23. What about an overhead air purifier?
  24. I really want to disconnect and pretend everything is fine. But I just can’t
