  1. Am I remembering wrong or wasn't there a still a question of whether we even had the space for him a month ago? That seems nuts to me.
  2. Evidently this guy is having a hard time connecting with college football players in the age of the portal. Sure beats me!
  3. Stan Drayton is a straight up Longhorn legend for pulling that off.
  4. I think the former, if I remember correctly we were only willing to take one of him and Hale and we struck out on Hale. Not 100% on that so someone please correct me if that's wrong
  5. Are we sure that's still a good thing?
  6. Frenzy had it first but crossposting here - Howell on Hill
  7. Watching him try to beat press coverage against 5'10 DBs was like trying to fight people in your dreams
  8. God this is worse than the cheese puns
  9. He must moonlight as a nurse in his free time.
  10. Offensive head coach protege, you say?
  11. There's always a stud or two every cycle that is just dead set on not going to Texas no matter what is pitched to them; Hicks is that guy this class. I don't think normal recruiting logic applies in cases like those.
  12. One of the most mind blowing realizations I've had about their culture is that they legitimately think Layne's is good. As a human who has eaten chicken prepared literally anywhere else, I was dumbfounded at how mediocre it was when I tried it for the first time.
  13. Guys, I'm starting to think Sark might not be an amazing coach.
  14. If for some reason you feel like you have too much will to live currently, I lost just about all of mine after watching this.
  15. Looks like a good way to spill 90% of your beer.
  16. Do you live in a world where Kurt Bowels doesn't exist or something?
  17. He wasn't great, but he made the AAS slightly less of a festering shithole than it will be now. Can't wait to see what they'll cook up for us going forward.
  18. To be fair, the game plan last week didn't really do him any favors. I'm not necessarily holding my breath, but for my own sanity I'm assuming that he'll do better if Sark chooses to build the game plan around him and ramp him up with more easy completions instead of just having him air it out deep a few times with no previous rhythm.
  19. This is like being Fong'd but on steroids
  20. To be fair, the 4-6 week number originally came from Pete Thamel, who was the Ewers' family's mouthpiece during his transfer recruitment. That said, I don't know what to believe.
  21. So is Ewers actually day to day or still 4-6 weeks out?
  22. I'll let others correct me if I'm wrong, but everything I've seen makes me think he's much more of the freight train, build momentum in a straight line kind of guy.
  23. I suppose I'm not doubting the credibility of the reporting, but I'm skeptical of the extent that he had truly lost the locker room and how much that actually contributed to his downfall.
