  1. Wednesday | I Liked What I Saw & Heard Today - CJ Vogel, On Texas Football
  2. I wonder if we see more rotation than in the past with Sark. I.E., does he just like to ride the best horses and maintain continuity/player rythm, or was it simply a case of too much drop off in performance with less talented and/or inexperienced players. Going to be interesting to see how this season goes in this regard.
  3. Could also be a motivational tactic by coach Baker. I'm pretty optimistic about January though. Whether it's intentional on Baker's part or a byproduct of reality, we'll see how Mitchell responds over time.
  4. I don't always sucker punch people in bars, but when I do, I make sure to take my shirt off, puff up the chest and take a walk on the catwalk, 😂.
  5. I wouldn't write him off just yet. There's a good 6 solid months for him (and Savion too for that matter) to shave off extra pounds and improve conditioning. I wish there was more corroberating information to go along with his weight of 372 lbs. Most people trying to get stronger have a caloric surplus to add lean mass. It's not inconceivable the target intake was a little more than necessary. I would like to know if he has, indeed, gotten significantly stronger. What are his primary lift numbers, for instance, vs last season? On another note, I'm curious how soon Alex January becomes a contributor. While I don't expect a true frosh to come in and light it up, I won't be surprised if he makes it into the rotation this season either. Pic of Mitchell first day of Spring Practice. Doesn't exactly look like a tub of lard to me, but it's also true that large frames can hide or carry a fair amount of extra weight without showing as much. His midriff is a little puffy.
  6. I would hazard to guess that thought crossed exactly zero players' minds when Sark made his pointed analogy. It does make me wonder how many even know how an auto coolant system works.
  7. Nansen is listed as Co-Defensive Coordinator/Inside Linebackers coach. Perhaps there will be some collaboration with PK.
  8. 91 is Ethan Burke. 95 - Alfred Collins. Collins is a senior, Burke a junior who used to play lacrosse and came in very undeveloped. Also, his shorts are hiding his upper thighs more. I'd also add, that some guys just build bulkier than others and calf size can vary greatly with genetics. But yeah, Collins' legs clearly look bigger.
  9. There's a lot to be optimistic about with the roster Sark & Co have put together. Question is, how soon can they put it all together and gel? It's a contract year for Alfred Collins, so pretty sure he will be motivated along with another year of building his body. Same can be said for Vernon Broughton, but I'm less certain of his motivation or abilities. Hoping he pleasantly surprises. He was a little better last season. Murphy and Sweat are big shoes to fill and neither of Collins nor Broughton really gap stuffers or pocket pressers the way they were. But EDGE should take a step forward this season in both talent and depth. And there is at least a decent rotation of DTs as is plus whatever additions may yet be found in the portal. Talent is not a question at LB but play recognition is. The embarrassment of riches at both WR and RB is ridiculous. Ewers just needs to develop rapport with the receivers.

  13. I should've checked the second page of this thread prior to grabbing a screen capture of her to post here, but glad I'm not the only one who noticed this. She's so enthusiastic and thrilled to discuss those poor fools' misfortune. Love the festive balloons in the background and the blue hair highlights couldn't be more appropriate to cap off the look of Dr. Frost Bite discussing her passion.
  14. I'm a fan now that I've had a chance to sample the second, untainted bottle. Good Stuff.
  15. Take your Pro Tip, and shove it up your azz. I never order "the little burger" anywhere.
  16. Whataburger fries are annoying. They have a disproportionate number of short pieces. Their burgers make it worth the stop though. Chic-fil-A is rather generous with their fries. Five Guys fries are greasy mush, and an attempt to make up for their small, overpriced burgers.

  19. That's a good call. Botulism ain't a good time. Returned it. They handled it well. Got a refund and the store manager brought another bottle gratis so I could still try it out. He's a good guy. We peeled it open with no violent release. Definitely smelled different -- much milder in comparison.
  20. I think so. Has a faiht hint of that smell to it when I just checked it. Incidentally, when I opened the cap again, it released some more pressure. Not enough to make a mess this time though. I'll probably take it back to HEB so they know about it.
