  1. Certainly a possibility. Not going to watch any NFL to find out. Could have been scouted better, outmatched man-to-man or maybe just a poor defensive plan in those games. I guess my point in making the statement was, not sure one could infer from the failure whether the position coach(es) were to blame for the sudden change.
  2. Kind of odd that their DL seemed to perform well all season long, then came up short the last couple of weeks.
  3. He makes some terrific cuts to part the seas when he needs to and YAC in some of those highlights as well. Looks like the real deal to me, but as posted by some already, I hope Aledo doesn't run his wheels off.
  4. Sweat's athleticism at that weight was insane. Few could carry that much so well. Collins is currently listed at 317 lbs and Broughton at 291 lbs, and both could probably benefit by whatever they're able to add this offseason.
  5. Agree. Broughton was grossly underdeveloped coming out of high school. I'll never forget that twitter video of him working out on a Planet Fitness machine. Good grief it was pathetic. Not sure he knew what a squat or power clean was at that juncture. For all the talk around here of college S&C programs, there have been decent programs in high schools for decades. Not equivalent to current state of the art D1, but just hitting the basic lifts usually yields impressive results in kids that age. Broughton was a marshmellow. Consecutive seasons of a good training program should add incremental improvement each year. Hoping Torre Becton earns his check this offseason with all our DLs. And for Collins and Broughton, they have the added incentive of it being a contract year.
  6. A couple of them would be nice, but probably a pipe dream. Here's to hoping Aaron Bryant and Sydir Mitchell take big steps forward.
  7. Another one to put on mute. Announcer sounds like he's trying to take a shit calling that play.
  8. Who were they supposed to hire? Hiring head coaches is a always a crapshoot. It remains to be seen how it works out longterm.
  9. CJ Vogel said he's on record of saying Saban and Smart were the only coaches he'd consider to develop him. May not be written in stone, but sounds like Georgia is where he's most likely to go.
  10. Market value for stuff like this tends to be local. Your initial price range may be the better one. You might check your local craigslist to see what they're going for, assuming you can find any listed. I personally wouldn't try to squeeze every last dime out of it. Good luck with your sale.
  11. You can probably get higher than I suggest, but personally, I don't like to dick around when selling something like this and would price it to move. I'd probably list it around $350 to $375. I have seen them listed for north of $400 however.
  12. Bobby addresses this question in today's Coffee & Football linked below starting at 38:46.
  13. I don't know why anyone would want Harsin. He doesn't have a stellar track record. PK doesn't strike me as HC material either.
  14. I paid $200 with free shipping for a Char-Broil 20" Bullet Smoker on sale in September. Haven't cooked anything with it yet but fired it up today to cook off oils, etc. I'll need to add some seals to the door and lid, but liking the vent control on this unit.
  15. I see it is currently $419 at Home Depot. But on Amazon it's $359.75 right now. Guessing that won't last long.
  16. Hush your mouth whipper snapper or I'll box your ears!

  18. Unlike Sark Harbaugh has actually one a bowl game.... Sounds like won-upmanship...
  19. That one I picked up was over $150. Ooph Back to Costco packers for this cowboy. I've yet to be dissappointed with the cheapest packers I can find. I am selective though. Best price I can recall is $1.96/lb in the last several years. Been a while however.

  21. Mukuba doesn't have a history of injuring himself after every good play he makes. So there's that at least. Aside from his propensity for injuries, Catalon was a liability in coverage. His only attribute I could see was laying the wood playing downhill, and he had some nice examples of doing that. Unfortunately, he also had some examples of whiffing on tackles as hitters who launch and don't wrap up are often wont to do.
