  1. So, Leipold's WR coach at Buffalo that was not asked to follow him to Kansas? Yeah....no thanks.
  2. The guy who didn't get the joke had to EDIT the post outing himself. looooooooooooooooooooooooool This has been a remarkable Tuesday.
  3. Another, another one not coming back
  4. This feels like a test balloon.
  5. Lol. Like guard and tackle have such different physical and mental requirements. Center, I get. But it's not like a tackle drafted by a team with guard needs would need to "learn a new position". Just...do less.
  6. Carl has taken a different posting direction
  7. One of the safety depth you have listed must develop into starter quality, imo. The db room has a lot of "versatile athletes" that need permanent positions. MM may not be a corner. I think it was Charles Power who said his best fit after watching all star game week might be nickel or safety long term. Putting depth at star is a good idea, especially long depth with situational coverage skills. Brooks was considered the highest upside db in our last class because of his length and youth. I think we need him to stick at corner, but he can still play nickel or field safety. Ideally, Crawford turns the corner. He's athlete enough to be all conference, but he needs a Jaylon Ford level jump to get there. Still can't see the field. Taaffe is physically limited, LTG still may be a linebacker (give me he and McDonald in the hybrid role they pitched to Harold Perkins), and I don't think we've seen Allen in a practice report since the fall when we heard he needs time. Thankfully, Spring will tell us a lot. Hopefully there's less fucking around with cross training and more focus on positional nuance. If GP bolts, I'm not super confident that Gideon and Joseph are capable of that.
  8. Yes, it would be great if we had players on our roster that were better than our starters... Watts was pretty good for us. He and Barron were setting an edge more effectively than Ovie and without their run support, we would have been bad against anything wide of the tackles. Is he ideally a safety? Yes, of course. Can we win a championship, conference or otherwise, with him at corner? Yes, absolutely.
  9. It is the same as Gary's job. Makes sense to have the posting up so you can hire anytime, but disconcerting nonetheless.
  10. There is new NCAA legislation to "allow" off-field coaches to work with players in practices, but it's being mostly laughed at because it's general knowledge that off-field coaches absolutely coach in practices at every school in the country
  11. SIAP Ben Ballard transferred to FAU
  12. Bobby Kennedy is available and feeling nostalgic
  13. I've long thought Sydney's posts were all transcribed with voice to text at rage volume 11
  14. They overlapped in 2014 - Parker missed the first 7 games of the season and returned to almost match his highest season yardage total (835 v 885) averaging 142.5 yds/gm and 20 yds/rec.
  15. Petrino will pitch a DaVante Parker role to Stewart. Unlikely that resonates. SIAP, but this is an incredible, scathing take on Petrino to aggy https://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/sec-football/first-and-10-bobby-petrino-jimbo-fisher-disaster-waiting-to-happen/
  16. I watched Ball State a couple times in midweek games this season and Carson Steele is the truth. Dude looks like Peyton Hillis
  17. We could have afforded another RB before Blue, so I'd say adding one is imperative. If either of Brooks or Baxter are out for any length of time, we have no backfill for an every down back. Especially if Brooks misses time - a true freshman + gadgetguygang are not going to win a conference. A bigger, experienced, Gabe Watson type is a good insurance policy.
