  1. It's been pretty well known about out here for awhile. Very surprised @billfromlaketravis didn't know about it. Not surprised that LTISD did nothing about it.
  2. I for one am excited our DL coach is friends with Conan.
  3. This is the only piece of evidence that seems promising. How many d-linemen has WKU had drafted in their history?
  4. So again, wtf point are you trying to make? I made it clear it's not about those 3 specific players but rather the example they set for someone who is quality depth and may compete for a starting job thinking they can hop in the portal and have Bama, Georgia, tOSU etc hitting them up with offers. Hell even Maalik is finding slim pickings with landing spots now and he was once considered to be one of the most coveted portal QB's. I think the point is that these guys weren't competing for jobs or quality depth. Players that are competing for jobs and are quality depth who transfer will get better offers than these so no lesson learned.
  5. I don't believe any of these unions have any say over the Name Image and Likeness deals athletes get? I also don't believe that because I have no clue. I assumed the only NIL funding the unions cover are for entire union being in a video game, but I believe players can opt out of those if they wish. NIL isn't schools paying players to play football so I think the unions are going to have a tough time getting a piece of this.
  6. Dude was Vegan for like 3 months.
  7. Did that 5 star WR not count? I don't think he was even on any of the sites' radars for A&M...
  8. Thiel is #4 on the list, but yes the list is probably not very accurate and missing others.
  9. I think you have reading comprehension issues. I am clearly stating in all of my posts that boxing is a better route to go.
  10. No Boxing doesn't pay that. UFC is the pinnacle of MMA. They have about 600 fighters under contract at any given time. Roughly 40% of those make 6 figures a year (250). No top 250 list for boxers, but the #99 boxer makes about 200k a fight and #100 (fights in more popular weight class) made 500k in his last fight. I'd be surprised if the #250 ranked boxer made less than the #250 ranked UFC fighter. Might be possible, but doubtful. Yes if you compare a first time UFC fighter to a first time boxer the UFC fighter would make more, but that is likely not the first pro fight that MMA fighter has fought. If anything an MMA fighter on the way up and a boxer on the way up earn about the same. Once they start getting on PPVs, etc... the boxers earning potential is way more.
  11. Someone should advise them better, boxers make way more money.
  12. Good to hear! Mark Plowman was a boss of mine when i used to bartend at Chuy's. Nicest guy on the planet and has amazing stories. Been trying to get out there but havent been able to.
