  1. I've been pretty critical of PK lately, but he certainly had an excellent strategy to slow up one of the best offenses in the country. That was the gaggies 2nd lowest pt total of the season and #1 was only 1 pt less. Great job PK.
  2. That sounds awfully contradictory. If you don't get the serve in you can't score from serving. The good teams never have any trouble passing any Texas server so who is going to put pressure on them serving? Melanie Parra is not on the team anymore, and even when she was her SE's hurt more than what befit the team got from an occasional ace. The good teams returned her serves like they were lollipops. It's kinda like in FB on 3rd and long and the DB thinks he's beat and grabs a jersey and then the ball is overthrown and woulda never been caught anyway. First and ten when you had them stopped.
  3. Damn would I love to have a 911. The 911 and 718 are 2 cars that don't ever lose much value. But just paying the taxes on winning one would likely be a lot more than the cost of the average new car.
  4. Maybe I should have said inconsistent. She was inconsistent when everyone else was, everyone but Binney. Rella had only one match where she was inconsistent and despite it being an easy dink over serve she's gone on multiple runs just because she gets the serve in. Texas doesn't have a special server this year so it's more important to get it in to the right location rather than trying to get aces. Some are going to fall in the right location and sometimes the receiver just screws it up, but I think with this team getting it in is better than a SE. A SE is what changed to momentum against ousucks and let them come back and win set 3, it allowed aggy to come back and win a set and thus the match in CS, and allowed KY to come back and win set 3 and thus the match in the SEC champ game. SE's are a momentum killer.
  5. It's clear to me she's not Emma or Zoe. And sometimes she goes into a serving error funk, which I don't understand because it's a simple dink over serve. Whether it's Molly or another Zoe somewhere Texas better get her. I real difference maker at MB like Cas-Ogwalla would be great too, but I know she's a Sr so I don't know who it is.
  6. That's what scares the hell out of me. You don't fix all those issues in 6 days. gaggy is pretty equal to pig on offense and their defense ranks higher than Texas. The only hope is they have a let down playing at DKR.
  7. Fuck Kenfucky and their skinhead coach. Why is the camera always on him and that fugly Hudson? She looks like a fucking crow. Texas just blew that. And, of course Texas got screwed by the ref's in the 5th. That overturn was BS. It clearly hit her finger and the finger moved back. That serve where Bunton tried to knock the ball back to Texas changed the whole match.
  8. We don't need DB's. We need a DB coach who knows what the fuck he's doing.
  9. Clown show, just like the OL. And now our team has to play the 13th ranked offense likely without the best defensive player on the team.🤢
  10. This is what happens when you start playing offenses with a pulse. There were warning signs after the UK game. Texas defense national ranks over the last 3 games: 114th - Points/Game (34.7) 93rd - Yards/Game (408.3) 104th - Points/Play (.458) 101st - Red Zone Scoring (90.9%)
  11. So did Dell McGee screw Keith Gill's wife or his daughter?
  12. There's one thing I do know. Someone isn't teaching our WR's that have been on campus 2-3 years how to get your hands in the proper position to catch a football.
  13. The running game from the RB's was better. I didn't say good, I just said BETTER, especially considering the opponent. We know Wisner can put up some decent numbers with a decent OL. He did it last year. But I'm not sure what Earl, Ricky, Bijan could do behind this OL. OTOH, I'd like to see more of Simon, less of Baxter. Baxter is supposed to be the power back yet Wisner continuously breaks more tackles. And Baxter can only cut like Wisner in his dreams.
  14. Too eager to get back and block so Texas could return the kick to the 14 yard line.
  15. And some people actually believe Flood shouldn't be fired. Fuck, given the results there's plenty of reasons Sark should go with him.
  16. Texas needs to get another Libero like Zoe. She was under rated and maybe the most important player on the NC team. I don't know who it is, but it's a big need, especially with Emma being gone. And yes, a real difference maker at MB. I don't know if Jerritt will go after setter with 2 contributing now and another coming in.
  17. So what does the whore in BR get out of beating a glorified HS 120-20? I would be embarrassed. Even IWU beat some teams last year as bad as Texas beat IWU. Do you think Vic would ever schedule those teams so he could beat someone 120-20?? And, BTW, with just average FT shooting Texas scores 90+ last night. I think Richmond was a little intimidated playing in Moody though. Especially after Crump busted their best players nose. Don't Mess With Texas.
  18. Maybe Bird should've tried inside hitter when she was at Texas. Even Lauenstein proved to be better at OH than her last night. She might be better than Devin, but Devin doesn't play very much anyway. I miss the days from the NC teams when Texas would go long long 6-8 point runs with Asjia and Akana serving because they simply got the serve in. We've had only a bit of that this year with Emma and Rella, but they seem to end it with a SE. Even Rella had had too many SE's lately when she hardly had any at the beginning of the season. Yes, blocking was better last night, but was it really better, or just the level of opponent? And where is Harvey? Did she get in the doghouse or is she hurt?
  19. It's interesting that when people know they're wrong they always resort to name calling.
  20. I said they were elite vs blowu, but 4.6 ypp is not good against the #107 ranked offense. Guess who else held them to 4.6 ypp - fucking Toledo. And USC (who has generally sucked this year) held them to 3.9 ypp, GA 4.2. If KY were even a top 50 offense I would've never made my post about the defense, I woulda said great job. But they were not elite in this game and certainly weren't elite vs FL. SJSU has a much better offense than KY and even UTEP has a higher ranked offense than KY. If you think 4.6 ypp is elite against an offense as bad as KY's then you have no clue what you're talking about.
  21. You made my point right there. The defense has only been elite 1 time this year, and Mateer helped them. The defense had what could be called 7 culture wins last year. And I don't think holding KY to 7/18 on 3rd down is very good against an offense that's not even in the top 100. And they were bad vs FL. The defense simply should have been better vs the #107 ranked offense. And they let KY get in FG range in 51 seconds.
  22. The defense also gave up 400 yards of offense, 26 first downs and an 80% completion rate to a RS Freshman QB and an offense not even in the top 100. The Texas defense was on the field for 40+ minutes because they couldn't ever get a 3 & out. It also put the offense in bad starting position multiple times making things even worse for an offense that already sucks. That was not a culture win for the defense. The SEC Roll Call video explains exactly why KY lost, not why Texas won. The Texas D went 100% in on KY running it right into the strength of the D. Anything else Texas loses that game, and KY scores 20+ in regulation if they had a coach with a brain. Thankfully Texas was playing the dumbest Stoops that's ever lived.
  23. Reality is you're probably right. He seems more interested in showing off his arm strength than making an accurate pass.
  24. I would say Quinn got significantly better from 22 to 23, but the regression in 24 is telling.
  25. Sure, but why was Texas in that situation? The Texas defense let KY drive down the field multiple times from the very start of the game, and got worn down. #107 offense KY had more than double the TOP, 26 first downs, 395 yards, multiple 3rd down conversions over and over again, failed to contain Boley, etc. Reality is the defense could not get off the field against a sorry offense. Yes, they made a great goal line stand, but allowed KY to get to the goal line in 3 plays. And let them get in field goal range in 51 seconds. (Thanks to coach and players for not running out the clock) Thankfully Stoops is a lot dumber than his brother. That game is a C+ for the defense at best. Of course the offense was an F-. Niblett is what won that game.
