  1. (More than the perfunctory still-in-contact article - "Davis says he “for sure” intends to be at DKR this fall for a game".) Texas A&M commit Myles Davis still in contact with Longhorns Hank South (Horns 247)
  2. :-)) Probably the most definitive recent comments I've heard Wiltfong make on Brandon Baker. - Expect decision early fall - Change at the top of the board (used to be Oregon) - Now, school to really keep an eye on is Texas - Ohio State 2, Nebraska wild card (will get OV in Sep) - But if we talk today, edge to Texas
  3. Yep, he said it. Advantage: Aggy! Tarp's Take: A&M was ultimately the bigger winner with LHN Tarp (Aggie 247) FULL ARTICLE
  4. It's not IT reporting that? Then who the fuck is it??? If he's still looking around, then he's not solid, is he? Or is "IT not reporting that," either? It's amazing that they - and others in this industry - can blithely write stuff like that and perhaps even garner praise for it.
  5. SIAP. Interesting stat, if accurate.
  6. Hank South (Horns 247) I doubt even Hank or the other $9.95ers believe we have a real chance, but since you asked ... From the GoVols 247 board:
  7. Parody? Satire? Farce? Merely typical Aggie hyperbole? Grandma hitting the sauce? Whynotall.gif? I don't know.
  8. Are you saying that the use of the word "dominate" (instead of "dominant"), in the sentence below, is grammatically correct??
  9. Well, then, if a group of chickens were to be called a cluster, that would be perfect for Aggy, wouldn't it?
  10. Full article below. Here's the tl;dr version: - "Sounds great!" - "That's terrific!" - "Hmmm ... " Four-star Texas RB commit Jerrick Gibson recaps dominate Friday night performance, visit plans for the fall Jordan Scruggs (Horns 247)
  11. On OL recruiting: - Our 2022 class was clearly elite. Cristobal leaving was a major catalyst for Banks and Williams flipping, but we took advantage and ended up with a great combination of quality and numbers. - Since then, we have taken 7 recruits; 5 in 2023, and 2 in 2024. - Of those 7, - 5 out of 7 are ranked outside the top 400 in the country - the other two are #193 and #240 (Chatman and Cruz) - Goosby and Cruz in particular are held in high regard; they're considered under ranked. That may well be true, but I wouldn't apply those labels (under ranked, diamonds in the rough) to the entire position group - also, when I looked at the list of offers we have out to OL in this class, - we only have 19 total offers out; 12 to OTs, and 7 to IOL - of those 19, 17 are committed to other schools - the only recruits - 2 - who are still uncommitted? Baker and Carter - so, yeah, the stakes are even higher than they would be, with two highly ranked prospects. But land these guys = especially Baker - and lordy lordy .... Edit: Wiltfong added this in a thread yesterday.
  12. Sonny Shipp (LSU 247), on Blake Ivy. Don't think we're a real contender - at least not yet - but it seems to be becoming a two-horse race ... should at least cause some Sturm und Drang in Collieville.
  13. Texas Recruiting Notes 2025: We want to be Neenja!
  14. Since this video was posted, I have spent every moment - 13 hours and 21 minutes - watching it on a loop, and occasionally singing and reenacting Ms. Murphy's most eye-opening highlight moments. The family took a change of clothes and moved the neighbor's. The pets have begun eyeing me suspiciously. Growling, snarling, and darting in for a quick bite or two. Will keep you updated.
  15. Oh, I found the one guy who would be scared to say something to his face. (Colt McCoy agrees with me, btw.)
