Was Biro intentionally moved to center forward or did he just decide to take it over the last 5 minutes? He did more work there than anyone and almost won it for us.

They were playing a 5 back set on defense.  Early in the game, Gally was on the wing between Biro and Obrian and then both Gally and Biro dropped back on defense (Cascante, Hines-Ike, and Desler were also defending).

Biro's work rate is top on the team in my opinion.

  2. Bukari is going to be good once we have the right coach and a real number 9.  There were several times that Bukari was in the striker position with his back to the goal, received the a ball, and passed back out to Ring.  He should not be in that situation over and over.  Our $7 million man does not need to be giving fucking Ring the ball to finish the play.

As stated, over-tenderized.  Acid and mechanical tenderization broke it down.  It also could have been a bad cut.  All the above.  I'd try again with a thicker cut.  Maybe try the flank steak at Costco.

The flap steak from Costco makes great fajitas as well.

Put in refrigerator for several hours.  Then, toss it in the freezer

This is important for cooked as well as raw meats.  Always let meat rest in the fridge before putting in the freezer.  Any juices or liquid will turn to ice crystals if it goes into the freezer too early.  Raw meat brought home from the store should sit in the fridge, too - ice crystals will mess up a good cut of meat.

  5. Youngest daughter (no pics) decided not to play soccer or run cross-country in college, much to my wife's (no pics) chagrin.  Didn't tryout for the club team her first year, so I though she was done outside of playing indoor over the breaks.  A couple weeks ago, she tried out for and made the college club team.  She seems really happy about it since she loves the sport but was tired of the pressure of playing on highly competitive teams.  Luckily, she's close enough to catch some games.  They rolled both teams I've seen them play - St. Eds 15-0 and TAMU Galveston 9-0.  Tulane and Rice are apparently the tough teams in their group and they play Tulane this Saturday.  I happily passed up tickets to the Texas game so I could watch her play.

  6. I turned it on last night to see if my wife could guess the actor playing the Penguin - she couldn't.  Ended up watching and enjoying the whole episode.  I need to go back and watch The Batman because I don't remember any of it.

Top 5 brisket!! Dry, unrendered, and barkless.

Yeah, that looks pretty bad.  Everything else in the pictures on the list looked pretty good, though.

No actual top ten barbecue list would leave the state of Texas.  There are probably a couple non-Texas places that would make the top fifty.

Brantley Creek is legit and Midland Meat Co is incredible

It's been a few years since I was there.   Neither of those places were available.   Ended up eating on the way home in San Angelo at a place recommended by @Brisketexan.
