  1. I used those as examples of shit that democrats need to combat.
  2. Who said appease to them? @LCHorn literally laid out the perfect strategy.
  3. What do you think will happen if democrats continue to lose branches of government? They’re gone anyway. Have to win to protect, dumbass.
  4. It’s amazing that you say I’m saying to treat them like subhumans, I’m not. I’m suggesting taking away ammo from the other side. And yes I along with most of the average people believe that biological males shouldn’t be competing in sports vs women. It’s basic a physiological anatomy that’s it’s unfair. Is what it is but that doesn’t mean they’re being treated like subhumans. Just compete vs your biological gender. Your type of response is exactly why the Democratic Party is where it’s currently at.
  5. Sure, just keep giving more ammunition. Men in women’s sports and hormone blockers in children aren’t made up shit. Are they super wide spread, no. But there are cases of it and it’s an easy attack because the average person disagrees with both.
  6. Make Stephen miller their Nancy Pelosi. Put his nazi ass on blast. Make everyone associated with him a nazi. Make Trump a Nazi.
  7. Then they’re wrong, especially on campaign trails. It is common sense you shouldn’t be giving kids who aren’t old enough to consent hormone blockers and shit like that. Or that biological males shouldn’t be competing with women in sports, it’s just a scientific fact that it’s unfair.
  8. This this this. And more of this. You don’t have to abandon the hem and no one has said to. But you do need to counter their attack or misdirect.
  9. Maybe working class isn’t the right word I should use but I think the more appropriate word is the average person.
  10. Even when they had all 3 branches they never rammed anything down the throats of republicans.
  11. Apparently the voting for moving forward is 7-4 and the mayor only counts as 1. @Mitch Cumsteen
  12. I haven’t seen a shoe posted in the past 5 years of this thread that looked good. All the best shoes were from back in the day
  13. If it’s not about money or a title then lol at you saying that. But if it makes you feel superior than others then you do you I guess.
  14. This the same organization that Texas believes they have to follow the letter of the law….its laughable we continue to do so.
  15. Because it’s been straight profit and would be more expensive to do?
  16. Complete gutting of the interior, new roof, etc. it would be near the end of the project as this is a 10-15 year project. The walkover of 37 would also be near the end. 1 Henry B Gonzales renovation improvemebt 2 Spurs arena 3 courthouse remodel 4/5 walkover/alamodome
  17. You haven't looked into this that deep but you're here yapping about it? Good fucking lord. Also below is part of Project Marvel as well. https://www.tpr.org/government-politics/2025-07-29/project-marvel-plans-include-renovating-former-courthouse-into-live-events-venue-but-local-artists-are-concerned
  18. That stretch of the corridor from The Pearl area to the Riverwalk kind of reminds me of 35 in Austin about 10-15 years ago where everything was west of 35 but now days it's extended across to the east side.
  19. Alamodome was paid off in less than 2 years, straight profit. It's arguably a very successful venture. Here is the former mayor on this.
  20. The only mistake they would make is the Spurs leaving by not getting it done.
  21. According to one of the city councilmen those reports take months to get back and cost anywhere from 50k to 100k+. So not only is she going to cost the tax payers money with that report she's sabotaging the plans that have been in the works for over a year. She's railroading and trying to stall the vote for tourist tax this November.
  22. Ofc that project was going to be a failure because planning for it at the time was shit and it was thrown together last minute at a shit location due to the spurs threatening to leave. People don't like going out there, businesses weren't going to build out there especially bars and restaurants. This project includes restaurants, bars, hotels, complete remodel of alamodome(which desperately needs it). This project puts the arena in walking distance of most major tourist spots in San Antonio creating a downtown hub of entertainment. It also revamps all the surround roads etc as well as moving the SAWS chiller plant to a better location and increasing it to cool and heat more downtown buildings. Frost center is nearing 30 years in age and that's the lifespan of most major stadiums now days for teams. Alamodome was paid off quickly(within 18 months of opening) and has been straight profit for the city since it was created. It was built to try and lure an NFL team, which will never happen. You really aren't going to trust them when Spurs pack up and head to Austin or Las Vegas. This is more than just their arena it's a whole downtown restructure project. Also if Spurs leave San Antonio they will NEVER get another pro sports team again and this project failure would be the reason. If you can't support the 1 fucking team your town has you won't support future team or teams.
