  1. Amazing play by Cook. 3rd downs are a fucking adventure. We fucking won and I'm going to enjoy it. Forgot to add that Xavier Hutchinson was fucking incredible and I thank god that he left his feet for some reason to try and catch the deep ball.
  2. Didn't give a shit about his player - he used it as an opportunity to run onto the field have have a fit.
  3. 12th man bio says he played OL in 2021 (4 games). Timeline on 247 shows he spent 3 years at aggy and then portaled to CC. Now has offers from Tenn, Auburn, and Miss St.
  4. I'm not gonna lie - I saw all the talk about Wilson and Houston but had no idea he had officially de-committed. So Texas still going hard after DeAndre Moore and then the portals?
  5. Pimpton's mid-season hudl: http://www.hudl.com/v/2FnvxX A bunch of clips of him Moss'ing some poor little DB's. A couple of really great one-handed/arms outstretched catches. A couple of him running over some people.
  6. Heupel. This is the first time that fat bastard hasn't worked under an offensive genius (other than a 1yr stint with the 'Southeastern Fire') - and that offensive gameplan against Texas is what he came up with.
  7. Fuck Dave Aranda and his bullshit 12-2 season in a post-COVID year. Fucking outlier.
  8. Beautiful scoop and score by the WVU defender. Tie game 17-17 Fuck the Bears and fuck that shit-head QB of theirs.
  9. I hope WVU goes absolutely Deliverance all over Baylor. Fuck the Bears.
  10. Quinn Ewers has an NFL passer rating of 120.8 when blitzed - 101.8 when not blitzed. Haynes King has an NFL passer rating of 53.8 when blitzed - 80.2 when not blitzed.
  11. Haynes King in a boot at the Orthopedist - and Evan Stewart liking the pic.
  12. I don't believe so - Quinn had 2 TWP's in the Oklahoma game. I assume one was the actual interception and the other was the ball that hit the DB in the hands and was dropped. As for NFL:
  13. PFF calls them 'TWP' or Turnover Worthy Plays. These include both passes that should be intercepted or when a QB is 'careless with the ball' Quinn is tied for 7th among Power 5 QB's in TWP% (percentage of total plays that are considered turnover worthy)
  14. Not going to argue about any particular throw or his performance in this game - just thought this was an interesting 'stat'. Per PFF, Quinn Ewers has 7 'Big Time Throws' in 7 quarters of action (73 drop backs). PFF defines 'Big Time Throws' as "passes that have excellent location and timing, generally thrown downfield into tighter windows". For comparison - Hudson Card has 0 BTT's in 123 drop backs this season. Other well-known/highly-regarded QB's: CJ Stroud - 10 BTT's in 163 drop backs Bryce Young - 9 BTT's in 152 drop backs Hendon Hooker - 8 BTT's in 158 drop backs Quinn leads the country in BTT% (percentage of throws that are Big Time Throws)
  15. The top 32 (sometimes 33) prospects on 247 will all be 5-stars - regardless of how many stars they are showing right now.
  16. Just as an example - Justin Fields was the 11th pick in his draft and signed a 4yr 18.8 million (guaranteed) dollar deal. Given that Quinn Ewers is reportedly close to having signed ~4 million dollars worth of NIL deals it doesn't seem that outrageous to think that eventually - for a very small group of players - NIL money might approach NFL money (for a year or two). I just think the group that it effects will be so small that its insignificant. However - I think CTJ has posted before that there was at least one player who declared early that would have been financially better off if they had stayed at Texas where they would have been contributors this season rather than going to the NFL as an UDFA.
