  1. Saw today that Marion just started following Coach Prime. Wonder if OC at Colorado might be a possibility for Marion. If Marion does leave - I guess we get to open up that well used rolodex of WR coaches again.
  2. I guess the meetings have started.
  3. I don't want to have to rely on Cook or Niblett in a 4 minute drill to win the game. Both of those guys have incredibly high ceilings - but I'd rather have somebody with a little experience to play in those moments on the road against Alabama. I think Thornton is right on the line, production-wise, of what we should be looking for.
  4. Marion just started following this grad transfer: https://fordhamsports.com/sports/football/roster/dequece-carter/11803 56 catches for 1166 yards and 13tds this season at Fordham
  5. Chambers has had a hell of a journey. All State WR from Maryland with no D1 offers. Enrolled at Tyler JC and RS the fall semester. Transferred to Fort Scott CC for Spring Ball. Offered by Sacred Heart, an FCS school, and played a season there (51 catches, 811yards 8tds). Committed to UTSA in July 2020 and then decommitted before arriving at FIU in December of that year.
  6. New coach and new offense. Went from an attacking offense trying to stretch the field to Yost's WR screen and short passing offense.
  7. That would be a bit of a strange hire - Keeler is 63 and hasn't done a rebuild in god knows how long. He took Sam Houston to a title and now to FBS - maybe he's looking for a new challenge? I could see TxSt wanting an established guy rather than another young unproven Coordinator - but Keeler feels like a little bit of an odd choice.
  8. From the article he is the great grandson of Bear Bryant and was at Alabama during Sark's time there.
  9. No idea if this was posted already or not - but Banks is following this FCS AA punter and grad transfer:
  10. He’s not going to ignore a talented transfer because he doesn’t meet a height threshold.
  11. Unlike Mehringer - Milwee was a successful OC prior to becoming an analyst at Alabama and then Sark's protege.
  12. Nahlin says two names to keep an eye on are Dominic Lovett out of Missouri and JQ Hardaway from Cincinnati.
  13. I mean - I like to think Flood has a pretty good handle on what he wants and how to recruit - but that's a player we laughed at Alabama taking back when he was thought to be part of a Zach Evans deal. Only played in two games this season. Was he hurt or 5th string?
  14. Apparently - though maybe that's an FCS rule.
  15. Its okay. I had to teach my parents how to use a mouse - I can handle this. What you're looking at is a screenshot of an alleged 'DM' (Direct Message) from Coach Marion to a random 'Texas' fan on twitter. A 'DM' is like a text message between two people on twitter. This screenshot is believed to be 'photoshopped'. Photoshop is an application that allows you to edit pictures.
  16. Currently being followed by Choate on twitter - but that may be a remnant from his time at Montana St. Check out the catch:
  17. Yes - paid twitter advertisement is definitive.
  18. He's a little guy (5'9"?) but led Texas St in receptions and touchdowns. Had 13 catches for 114 yards and a touchdown against Baylor early this season.
  19. Kinne appears to be the favorite. GH says Marion to Tulsa isn't happening.
  20. No, but they can slap Co-DC and pay him as much or more than aggy. And he wouldn’t have to work for Jimbo.
  21. He’s an idiot if he doesn’t use whatever leverage he has. Hopefully both sides can work it out.
  22. Sometimes they pay off - like Drew Sanders just did for Arkansas.
  23. Absolutely incredible that they could convince themselves that this guy with a literal spiral notebook of plays in his hand on the sideline is going to 'step away' from the offense.
